To remove the trees, they had to work around a two story building, a cinderblock fence, and a wooden fence. He had the crew there at 7:30 am promised and they went right to work. Their work was done quickly, efficiently, and professionally. They did a great clean up the work area even removing the leaves and debris that had been on the ground prior. Nothing remained except the wood I requested and it was cut into 16" lengths ready to be split when it dries. The crew was polite and courteous and went above and beyond, even blowing out the second story rain gutters on my shop. There was no damage to the building or fences. I definitely would recommend them.

North Roots stood out because the estimator came out same day, bid was sent out same day and they could start the job immediately. They left the yard raked up and sidewalks blown off. No extra cost surprises and no damages. They left me with no option but to give this business a perfect review. A few breaks here and there but hustling to get it done. 100 feet high and probably 20 feet circumference on the trunk. A monster. Sad to see it go but the tree was dying. We had more than one company come to give us an estimate but North Roots beat everyone hands down. We will definitely use them again.

When we got home I checked my credit card app and saw that La Quinta charged me for the entire stay even though it was prepaid through Expedia. After calling the hotel 3 times over the past week, they still haven't reversed the charge so now I have to dispute the charge through my credit card app. Has anyone else experienced something similar with La Quinta in SLO? Seems like a sketchy way to do business and now I'm wondering if this is something that they get away with since a lot of people don't frequently check their charges to see if they've been double charged by the third party booking site and La Quinta. This was my first time and last time staying at La Quinta. I will not stay there again.

We presented ideas, a budget and she and Bryan helped take care of the rest. Turf, concrete, and river rock are very expensive. I like that Shannon respected our budget and brought me back to reality when I got too creative. The crew always started on time and cleaned up. The turf is realistic and durable, holding up to two 90 pound dogs with zoomies. Bryan walked us through every step of construction, patiently sprayed out the fire pit layout on the dirt for us (after I changed them a few times)! Shannon always maintained communication about the project. Will be using California Creative Surfaces for our front porch and yard next year! Thank you!
