I hardly ever give out a one star rating, but here it is. The workers who actually come out to your home are pretty good. It's the people scheduling appointments and customer service who are awful. I can't tell you how many times we've had to tell them to quit calling my husbands phone and to call mine since I'm usually able to answer. We ended up going online, under our account, and doing it ourselves (even though they said they did it multiple times). This ended up with the workers coming out, for no one to be home, and they couldn't do their jobs properly because they couldn't access our house or back yard. Even though they call me now, if I can't answer, they don't leave a voicemail and schedule an appointment anyways that we have no knowledge about. When we go to call them it's always the same: "It says here someone called and left a message," so we have to re explain that they never left any message (not that it matters anyways).
When we first had them come to our house to do an inspection they found out we had a recent rat issue in our crawl space. That was a nightmare. Everyone did their jobs mostly right, but the scheduling was so bad! First off, they had to replace our moisture barrier and disinfect everything. They were supposed to have all of the vents closed off before hand so that the new moisture barrier wouldn't get messed up from the rats. Even when they closed off the vents, they didn't close them all off and it took forever. They outsourced to another company for the vent covers. When that company came they did a shotty job anyways and I could literally hear them complaining and cussing about everything that they were doing. One of the workers from Terminix came out one time to make sure that everything had been done. He never rang the bell or knocked. I watched him look at the front of our house (didn't even look at the back yard or in the crawl space) and get right back into his car with blaring music. I ran out of my house to chase him down (We needed to talk to him about the work that had been done, I figured he'd ring the bell when he was finished). He looked super annoyed, got halfway out and he said he inspected everything and everything looked good. I basically told him what hadn't been done yet and he was clearly mad. It took multiple frustrating calls for them to schedule and get everything done. A few people were fired and it's really sad. Sad because most of these people who come out to the houses have to deal with really bad organization from their company. I've heard horror stories about working at Terminix. Honestly, if one more thing gets messed up, we're switching companies (we probably should have a long time ago). It's just sad when you shell out all of this money for a company who really could care less about it's customers and its workers. read more
