Paperwork that shows a came to the store at closing

Terminix service is terrible. I waited all day yesterday for the inspector and the exterminator to come - l try to call the branch office and they send you to the call center. They have no idea what the local office or their technicians are doing. I waited from 10 to 12. Nobody called me. Nobody showed up. I called them twice. They said I was next. They said the technician is in route. He's gonna call me but never did.. inspector called me about 3 PM. He said he was there 11 and nobody was there. Nobody called me is what I told him. He says when they outsourced the phone calls to a call center. It's the worst thing they could've done for customers - this is directly from the Inspector . The exterminator never showed up then I get an email this morning saying he showed up at closing and caused my employee to stay overtime Wow - they are the worst company to use - poor communication and service.-I asked for a manager to call me yesterday -his name is Matt from the local office. Never got a call. I'm calling again this morning. Still haven't received a call. I'm going to Orkin. Do not use these guys. Terrible customer support.

You can tell they just sprayed from one spot and never moved around. The insulation doesn't cover the entire attic.

My wife and I paid Terminix almost $5000 and when it is all said and done, we still have mice, the insulation they installed needs to be replaced, and the gutter guards clog so bad that the gutters still need to be cleaned frequently. Terminix performed a $1200 mouse exclusion that included putting down a couple poison traps and sealing up the outside of the house. Now 8 months later, we still have mice and we are being more successful killing them with some $2 traps from the hardware store. The insulation cost $2000 dollars and was supposed to include removal of all the old insulation and replacement with cellulose that is supposed to repel mice. From the pictures I attached, you can see that the old dark rock wool from when the house was built is still in place meaning they didn't remove the old before adding the new cellulose. They also made no attempt to completely cover the attic with insulation. From the photo you can see that the installer stood in one place and sprayed cellulose without moving around to be sure that the entire attic was covered. There were some loose boards up there that the previous homeowner must have used to walk around. Terminix just put insulation on top of the boards without even moving them. Now there is an air gap in between the old and new insulation resulting in warm air being allowed in between the layers of insulation. Our bedroom is now warmer than it was before adding the new insulation. There are also openings in the attic for pipes and other structures from lower floors that just have pink insulation stuffed into them. A basic exclusion for mice would put a physical barrier in these gaps to prevent the mice from freely moving around the house. We had an actual insulation expert come and look at the attic and his comment was "man, I feel bad for you guys. You really got screwed. Since none of the old insulation was pulled out before putting down the new cellulose, I'm going to have to pull all this out and start over." So not only did I get screwed by having to pay $2000 for improper insulation, I get to pay someone else to have it removed. I have contacted Terminix multiple times. Once about the water coming into our house from the ice dam that I got last winter because the insulation was insufficient. They claimed that it was an issue with the gutter guards, which they installed. Every time I have contacted them about the mice, they tell me that it will take time for them to die off. Maybe they will finally be gone by the time I retire. I contacted the service manager today and he told me that a refund isn't possible because I haven't given them the opportunity to correct the insulation. I just don't trust them to fix it. They did such an awful job the first time, I don't plan on letting them screw it up worse the second time. All I can say is don't let them scare you into doing a bunch of work at your house because you want to get rid of the mice quickly.

This is a house protected by Terminix. Great job guys

This week's task was handling a potential infestation of rodents. Oh joy! Nothing like having your home be a home for unwanted critters, and, well, eww. Roberto showed up on time, even messaging when he was on his way, listened to my concerns, and took a look around our basement. I was relieved to find out that it did not appear as if we had a big problem, or at least as big of a problem like I had feared, and that he would look outside as well. Once outside, Roberto inspected the house and found the likely point of ingress for mice. It made total sense because the gap in the siding coincided with where the soffit for the ductwork is in the basement. He gave me quotes on the services that were available, ranging from quarterly visits to a one-time sealing of the house, and then gave me some ideas on what I could do to handle some things myself. The service charge was $99, and if you sign up for one of their quarterly services or another one of their offerings, then that service charge is rolled into part of the overall fee. I was super-pleased with that part of the arrangement and I look forward to utilizing their services. Very responsive, easy to set an appointment, and a relatively thorough inspection, all in the span of less than an hour. Great experience!

We called a few places and ecoPRO was the quickest, the cheapest, and the easiest to talk to. The rep worked with me to make sure everything he could do was done and even answered some random questions I had about creatures and critters in the area. A few days ago, my mother-in-law had them come out for mice and they were equally informative, quick and reasonably priced. ecoPRO is my go-to for any critter related problem. Thanks!!

I WAS ASKED TO REMOVE THIS REVIEW BY THE OWNER, see at the bottom for the email…read more I had to block this company from continually contacting me and the owner still sent another message after that from his personal account. I would really give them about a 2 1/2 star rating but I don't feel comfortable giving them an A-OK. I feel I should now give 1 star after the factual review I left below and still being harassed by them via email. The list of things we have had to address for our "every issue is taken care of" new house has been a bit overwhelming. The first thing was squirrels. They were in our attic. We were assured access had been prevented by the realtor and previous owner. Yes.. The joke is always on us. Due to the pitch of the roof, and a few other issues I called a "professional" They actually responded on Yelp right away, and called. They sent someone out quickly. The guy who showed up was the only person we ever saw in person. He was covered in poison ivy when he arrived. He looked around and the got on the roof. He found the access point and set a trap. He mentioned he would "give us a deal" if I would check the trap so he wouldn't have to drive from Olathe, KS up to the northland area. I did that, he did not give us the discount. I paid him in cash. There was a contract and a receipt. I held the ladder as he climbed up on the roof to set the trap. He then washed up in our basement sink. He assured me that if a squirrel tried to enter it would be caught by this trap. A few weeks later, the trap never caught anything and another squirrel was in our attic. We called back and the owner and the tech came out again and looked for secondary entry points, they did not find any. They set two more live traps. Those traps NEVER caught anything. I let him know (on my own time) several times the traps were empty. In the meantime I set up a live trap myself in our back yard. I ended up catching 12 squirrels. EcoPRO NEVER caught or eliminated a single squirrel. ZERO. They ended up taking their traps and sealing the one access point on the roof. It should be noted they did NOT seal it properly as a roofing contractor pointed out. They didn't put any caulking or sealant around their work on the roof. It cost us $500 for someone to climb on our roof and 3 set traps and seal a hole. You can decide if it was worth it or not. Zero animals were caught or relocated by them. No deal was given for saving gas on driving to our home as first mentioned by technician. I can't say if I would recommend them or not. A pest solution company that doesn't catch animals? I don't know.. It didn't seem right to me, and of course they gladly took our money. UPDATE: I also want to note that I did call the owner personally and I told him I was not happy with how things were going BEFORE posting this review. The above review is factual and based on my opinion of work vs cost. You can judge for yourself. That's what Yelp is based on, experiences and reviews. You decide. It's just my opinion based on my experience. Also the owner continued to send me messages via email, he also stated the $500 was the discounted price. Which is 100% not true and not indicated on the invoice. That was the price the technician quoted me and which he brought up and THEN said he would sometimes give discounts if he didn't have to keep driving back and forth from a far away location. The technician specifically mentioned $50 at least, which would make it $450. His words. The owner was NOT on that phone call. The Technician was. On 8/10/17 I was emailed the following message by the owner: "Hello, I'm sorry you were unhappy with the service.  I'm surprised to get a bad review 3 months after your service, and I don't believe we did anything wrong here, so I would appreciate it if you would take the review down.  But that's your choice.  Please let us know if there's something else we can do to make up for it." After emailing me 4 times I had to block them. The owner then emailed me from his personal account and said this: "Why would you pay someone to do a job, then do it yourself?? Then blame us!  Take responsibility.  We didn't do anything wrong." That in itself is very telling. First he was blocked and continued to contact me after I asked them to stop contacting me. Second, I paid someone to do a job, which they attempted and partially did (above I listed what they actually did). They charged me and never once attempted to refund, discount or compromise after not catching a single animal. Something they have never disputed. I put out a trap to help protect our investment by any means necessary. So a home owner with a trap can catch 12 squirrels while the professionals did not catch any. That is very telling for all potential customers. YOU CAN DO THIS YOURSELF! Even the owner said I "did it myself".. So he admits they didn't do anything? They did some things, just not well. And his reaction is very telling.
