A Terminix vehicle with the driver named John truck #825702 was blocking my driveway. He saw me get into my vehicle; we made eye contact. So, I assumed he would move so I can back out. Well, that was my first mistake apparently. I honked my horn twice to have him back out. He did not move. I got out and knocked on his window. He rolled down and proceeded to scream at me to not come at him this way. Then he got out of the vehicle and said he was not moving. I told him that I was sorry I knocked, that I did not bang on it as he accused me of. I said I honked twice but he responded that he did not hear me. Seriously? My horn is 2 feet from your door! He had a chip on his shoulder, this had nothing to do with me, but he decided to take it out on me. Then he proceeded to call me a fat white woman. Lord, here we go with the fat remarks! Now my neighbor did not hear this going on, but I have reported it to him, my retirement community and the police. You do not need to come out of your vehicle to verbally assault anyone who just asked you to move. I don't get it. He continued to argue even when I apologized. This is wrong. I wish I could give a 100 stars, I have been with Terminix in lake county for 30+ years since Sears and I can say all the review's I have read don't reflect the same company I have had all this time. My technician has been servicing my home for 10 years now and he is wonderful and a kind man and so where the men before him. The men that come every year to do my Termite inspections are all very professional and though. It may not be the same young man each time but they are obviously well trained and knowledgeable and do a fine job, I believe Terminix teaches them well. A few years ago I had a Termite issue and the contractor Terminix sent out to fix the damage acted extremely professional and I cant even tell were the repairs where made, they did such a good job. I have all the services I think they offer and don't regret any purchase I have made. The office staff/ mangers have always been helpful and when I have had a problem they made it right. I have in ground Termite protection, Drywood Termite spray in my attic, Gutter covers, pest control Insulation in my attic, and of Course pest control, I even had them fix a few areas on the roof and outside to prevent critters and I've never had a issue. Terminix gives peace of mind when it comes to protecting my home from invaders and is worth every penny. read more

Terminix exclusion contract took $2,400 from me. They did a "free evaluation" and told me I had rats in my attic, then took my money. They closed 3 entry points and set some traps in the attic which they checked a week later. I asked a handyman to get everything down from the attic, thinking of all the rat damage. He got everything down, but said he didn't see any evidence of rats. I checked the stuff he brought down, and it was undamaged. I called in another pest control service to do a thorough check and they said they didn't see any evidence that there were ever rats up there. In addition, the traps that Terminix had set, had no bait in them. In a nutshell, Terminix said I had rats in my attic, and took my $2400. I proved that there were no rats in the attic, but they refused to give me back my money. Anyone reading this, if Terminix exclusion services says you have a problem, NEVER pay them until you get a second opinion. Terminix might have my money, but if only one person takes my advice above, Terminix loses in lost business. read more

This organization is poorly run. I receive their lawn care service and made an appointment 2 weeks ago for the 8-12 service. They were across the street from me allegedly repairing gutters and leaf filters. They never came over to let me know that they may be delayed. The Operations Manager was also there. Not one of them checked their schedules to see what also was to be done that day. I live directly across the street from the emer gutter repair yet NO ONE came across to inform me of a potential delay in my service, even though I had an appointment. I called the company and was informed that they would be at my residence shortly. 2 hours later and after 3 phone calls wondering when they would show they finally arrived. The Operations Manager, Dave, finally called me and flatly asked me if I was ever late for something. His sarcastic attitude made me even angrier. stay away from this inept organization. read more

Buyer beware this Terminix branch will not only provide sub-standard initial service after you pay for the contracted services, they will never return to your property to provide the additional services set forth in the contract. I spent over 5000.00 dollars and the Branch manager Mike Haas was no help at all and is indicative of level of ineptitude of the entire branch in Leesburg FL. Most of the services indicated were never performed because there is simply no evidence that the wood in my attic was ever protected from termites. Just pick up the phone & ask for Ryan Gansel in Leesburg, he will take 250.00 cash come to your residence ,spend 20 minutes spraying and be on his way. Please don't worry about the bugs he left swarming in your bed- Rooms or the promises that this would be the 1st treatment of at least 3 including some steam cleaning which would really remove them from everywhere they hide. Cause it's to late for you, he already got his money, and since never gave you a receipt he promised time and time again. He doesn't even have to report his service to the company. And it really doesn't matter how many times you call or text him or the company their done with you. And since he's an independent contractor for Termnix if he doesn't record his services to you, he doesn't have to share a % of the money with the company. So Even after the company promises to call and straighten it out, and tell you their sending a tech to fix it don't hold your breath for they will never show up . You have essentially become a goest to them. And you will never hear from anyone at their site in Leesburg or the call center again. It's been an extremely upsetting experience for me, and I've had to make several trips to the ER cause they have chewed me up so much I have sores and legions on my skin and head and they won't go away no matter how much medicine I take. Im told time and again :unless the source that's causing them is gone it's only going to get worse for me their not going away from my home or me, They've acquired more residents rights than I have. So now the Life I've had to created I essentially hide from the world,& it's been over a year . But I feel like a disgusting bug myself. And when I do go out people look at me and prejudge me like I resurfaced from a cave. I have to wear a hat and a shower cap everywhere I go my scalp is so sore it burns even with the air touches it. Worse company I have tired to do business with. I cannot even get them to come to the house. I made one appointment, waited around for the two hour block and no one showed up all day. Not even a call to say they cannot make it. I made another appointment, waited the two hours for them to show up. When they did not show, I called and the receptionist put me on hold while she contacted the technican. She came back on the line and said the tech would call me with in the hour. I waited for two hours and I received no calls. So three appointments, me waiting around for over 8 hours, no one calls or even shows up. Worst experience ever. The service people did not get rid of pests, but apparently Terminix got rid of them. Appointments set, and twice no shows. No call, no cancellation, just don't show. Branch manager unresponsive as well. The national website says satisfaction 100% guaranteed, but when I called to cancel "customer service" said it is at the discretion of the branch manager as to issue a credit or not. When I asked the determining factors, she said she didn't know. ???? Guess what? Three visits, three different service people, two of which bad mouthed the person prior saying they didn't do the job properly. Ghost ants still here. terminix did their yearly inspection 2 months ago. The elderly technician misstep off the access attic stairway and fell through the garage ceiling onto the hood of my vehicle leaving a 4ft x 6ft hole in the ceiling and several dents in the hood. The Leesburg office failed to respond until I contacted the corporate customer service. I have tried on several occasions to have them resolve the car damage. They blame the insurance company. Corporate says they don't handle the insurance, who does? I have been unable to get any response from the Leesburg office. I am beginning to question whether or not they have liability insurance. A national company ignoring damage to a long term customer. My advice "stay away". read more

I was pleasantly surprised when my exterminator arrived ~He was Very knowledgeable of any bug concerns I had. Error! This should be a 0 star rating rather than 2 star. I tried to delete the 1 star and instead it made 2 stars. Do not be taken in by Terminix advertising or the salesperson's uniform with the Terminix logo embroidered on the front. We were impressed and confident when we signed the contract and paid upfront for their insulation service. We are still awaiting competition of the job. First they came with a machine with a broken engine so they were unable to remove the old attic insulation and left. They returned a few days later with only 5 extraction bags, said they had to leave because they didn't have anymore bags and couldn't get more. They blamed their vendor and the salesman, claimed they thought the house was 1000 sq ft rather than 3300 sq ft. A few days later they returned and after a lengthy lunch break the worker fell through the ceiling in our great room. They did repair the ceiling though we are still waiting to be reimbursed for our hotel stay. It's been 2 weeks and we're still waiting for them to finish installing the attic insulation. The service manager says "we're waiting for delivery." We put a hold on the Terminix check. This has been a terrible experience the stress caused me to get Shingles. Lessons we learned from this experience. Don't fall for a slick salesman, always get more than 1 estimate Fl. Pest Control is half the price, and NEVER pay 100 percent up front.
