Terrible customer service and inaccessible management. Had a job done in excess of $7K and it failed. All they would do is come out re-service the attic and provide one free service $85.00, Big deal. Call their number and you get a call center that handles sales but not unusual issues. The only way I could contact them was through Facebook and then they blocked me on Facebook. Service Master is a terrible organization and Terminix is only one piece of it. Got an email on 10/17/16 asking for my details. Go to the Largo Branch, they have all my details. Until someone calls me from Memphis that has some level of authority, I will continue to be relentless. read more

To be totally honest, we weren't sure we were going to stay with Terminix when we moved to Florida because we were not all that impressed with the service that we received in Georgia. But the ratings that we saw when we were comparing pest control services rated Terminix highest in customer satisfaction so we decided to stay. We are glad we did because the technicians seem much more knowledgeable and the service is much better. Our latest service by Anthony Nieves was an example of that. By a coincidence we had just found a large amount of dead flies, and some living, in our very seldom used guest room. We got a call that day that we were scheduled for service the next morning. We explained the problem to Anthony and he immediately knew what it was and the solution to it. Being originally from New England, we had never heard of drain flies and never thought of having to pour water down little used drains to keep them closed up. read more

The pest branch in St Petersburg is totally dishonest! I cancelled my annual service after they committed fraud. My issue: I had a scheduled pest service scheduled at 1:00PM. I took vacation from work to be here on time and to show the technician where I needed extra attention. The truck pulled up across the street from my house. I stood in the front door waiting for the technician. Well after 10-12 minutes, the truck drove off. NO SERVICE WAS DONE.! The technician NEVER got out of the truck! I went upstairs in my house to get on-line to get the Terminix number to call and find out what happened! And what do I find... a bill from Terminix for a pest control service that was just completed! COMPLETE FRAUD! Called and complained, but the supervisor told me the service was done as scheduled! Not so! I demanded that a supervisor come to my house immediately. One showed about 6 hours later... my neighbor was a witness to the Terminix truck parking and the leave. The supervisor took my statement. Received a letter a week later that stated that the tech did service on the wrong house. Only problem, there is no house on that side if the street. Lies, lies, lies! I mailed my statement to the regional director only to receive the same findings, that the tech did the wrong house. So I claim fraud! Made me pay for a service that was not performed! Not a reputable company! Stay away from them! read more

I have been a loyal customer of Terminix for at least six years. However, a recent service was imperfect. Confusion ensued when I received a call from the dispatcher asking to change the appointment date (the technician had a family emergency); but then the technician arrived about an hour later. It is commendable that the technician was still completing his rounds. However, I was disappointed that a requested service was not completed. Although the phone representative said that she would make a note of my request for bee removal, the technician informed me that my request could not be completed. It is very surprising that a huge pest control company like Terminix does not offer the equipment necessary to remove bees from a tree. It is also VERY DISAPPOINTING that I am paying almost $120 every quarter for complete pest control and now I have to pay another company for bee removal. If I have to pay a second company for services that Terminix is unable to provide, then Terminix should not market their services as comprehensive. read more

Appointed scheduled, price quoted. Work preformed. House tented for dry wood termites. House tented on Tues, tent came off Wed. House could not be cleared for entry until Saturday since this was Thanksgiving week and know one would be working Thurs or Fri. Received a call Friday that house was cleared for entry. Unfortunately I could not make it back until Saturday morning. When I arrived all the ceiling fans were on, A/C was set at 71% in the on position, garage door leading into kitchen was propped open with garage windows open. So my ageing A/C unit was left running non stop for about 18hours. Lucky for me it didn't freeze up. I'm not sure why they turned on the A/C unit at all. My sales rep says once they remove tent from house the chemical they use dissipates quickly and leaves no residue. Called my sales person who never called me back. Filled out my survey which was less then favorable, received email from Jeff Willich letting me know my sales rep had left the company, sorry for over site and if I needed anything else feel free to contact him. ARE YOU KIDDING ME.. WHAT GREAT CUSTOMER SERIVCE. Terminix is not the cheapest by any means, shop around. read more

I guess if I could give a no-star rating I would. In relation to tenting services for termites this company failed us big time. First the salesman lied to us. He misrepresented the poison used. He said they had done roofs like ours (it's steep) before and it would be no problem. He said a crane would come to put up the tent and save our roof from damage but it was a bucket truck that came. He misrepresented what would happen to our plants around the house. We did not receive the special bags to bag up food and medicine until the afternoon before the tenting though we had asked for them to be to us by the week before. On the morning of the tenting the crew shows up, the bucket truck shows up and the tent and poison show up. But the crew decides they will not get on our roof and they pack up and go home. What a debacle. All that preparation in the yard and house for NOTHING. The crew manager said Terminex would pay for our first night in a motel but I'll let you know if that really happens. read more

We have been loyal customers for over 20 yrs and so have my parents. Their service has deteriorated immensely. The customer service is terrible, they don't solve any issues. They say someone will call back and they don't. This week they made a terrible situation for me much worse. I called and asked for help with an ant problem that was quickly getting worse. I had a terminally ill loved one in the home and I asked them to please help as soon as possible with this issue. I may as well been talking to the wall. I was told someone will call you, we can't get out until next week. Explaining the situation and why it was important to get help sooner, no one would help me. I finally accepted an appointment for 8/7/17 because I just couldn't waste anymore energy on them. Then I received a call Thursday eve, after my loved one had actually died, saying we will send out a tech tomorrow between 8 and 10 am. Well, 10 am came around and no one showed. I called the service number at 11:30am and was told there was no appointment in the computer for me. So, I asked to just keep my appointment for 8/7/17 and was told they could not schedule any appointments after 8/6. They did offer Monday, but I explained due to my loved ones death I could not be there. This company obviously has gotten too big to take acceptable care of their clients, and it is apparent to me they just don't care. As of now, I still have not been given an appointment. read more
