The overall service is horrendous I would give them zero stars if I could!! We had 2 baby possums in our house we called there call center to see if we could get an estimate on getting them REMOVED and have the area looked at bc we didn't know how they got in. They told us they could come take a look for free at 1pm. We agreed and waited till 1pm while the possums destroyed our bathroom. We get another call by the service provider at 1:10pm saying they don't remove possums and that they wouldn't do the inspection and we need to call someone else. I think it's completely unacceptable in the fact they weren't clear up front at 9am when we called them. It was no mystery of what the issue was it was clearly articulated on the phone we had two baby possums in our bathroom. So I don't know where the confusion came from. Lucky for us we were able to call a different company and they were out there within 15mins and they did remove and inspected everything. Just wished I would have called AAAC Wildlife first instead. read more

I felt the need to give an update. So the corporate office promised to start service over from the top. I would have been happy with that (would have been "bird dogging them to ensure services were done on time and properly). They did not comply with their end of the contract (service was supposed to be once every two weeks but they were very inconsistent even going to nearly six weeks!). The problem was not resolved by them. Well I guess it doesn't matter if corporate says something because right after they assured me it would restart, Chad (the supposed manager- not at all professional!) decided to overrule corporate and just cancelled the contract. ** Important note- the spray used by the company was found on Amazon for less than $30! I timed a couple of the services and clocked the lady exterminator at a total of SEVEN MINUTES! After finishing she would go to the vehicle and sit to do paperwork. I ended up buying products myself (including the same spray as Terrible Terminex and was finally able to resolve the problem (to my knowledge at least). The company either hid my contract (never got a paper copy) or it was deleted. I am a 100% disabled veteran and really have difficulties with a lot of physical stuff so it was incredibly frustrating to have to continue dealing with it. I am going to have to sue them now because they are on my back to finish paying for a service which was not done per the contract. I'm not a litigious person but they are now messing with my credit report. I understand the problem is common in the south but I never expected to have "roommates" after I closed on the house. I'm becoming quite frustrated. Don't use this company (they may be better at routine pest control, I don't know). The organization is very disorganized. In short, after I posted my review, I got a response saying that it would be resolved. It truly never was. Disappointment is a gross understatement. If you read any of my other reviews, you will see that I am not a serial negative reviewer. Sometimes, you really need to get out there and speak the truth. I don't want anyone else to be scammed by this joke of a "franchise". Btw, the manager Chad blocked my number after I wrote the truth. There is no desire to resolve the issue. One would think that the name Terminex would come with professionals and results. My house is quite clean but a bit cluttered (love my books!). This is not a case of reinfestion. Customer Service (and when it comes to them, I use the term loosely) is unprofessional and difficult to talk to--especially Laura and Tierra, scheduling is a nightmare in that there's the scheduled time agreed upon and the random time they decide to come instead (and it happens EVERY SINGLE TIME--it's not a one-off), and the strange technicians that come to the house--like creepy personalities; people you hate know where you live). If you're considering Terminix, I would seriously reconsider. It's very stressful and not worth any potential benefit over other companies. read more

Worst experience of my life. I had an appointment for 3-5pm and a man in a Terminix truck showed up at 9am. He did a half-assed job of spraying inside my home. I didn't think anything more of it until 2 days later when Terminix started calling me to reschedule because they said their guy went to the wrong house. I told them he came to my house, and they were totally confused, and said that he did not. I described the man (with a beard), and they said they have only one technician and he has no beard. They say they also checked his gps and he was never at my house. The national office won't allow me to talk to the local office directly, even after I explained that there was a potential issue. I even called the police to describe what happened in case the man who came to my house was an imposter. Anyway, they say they are sending a technician to my house again tomorrow, even though my house was sprayed by somebody with something 2 days ago. So we are not yet at the end of this "circus". Stay as far away as possible from these people! read more

I am VERY disappointed in your services. I had a confirmed appointment for today and no one came. I called and they said I never had a confirmed appointment. Tell me why I have a text message saying my appointment is confirmed, if it is not? They said the technician assigned to my ticket was "out of town". Okay, then why did you assign that worker when I have an appointment??? I literally spoke on the phone to someone who made my appointment for me! I missed my daughters first soccer game to be here and waited for no one to come. They said I would have had to call in and get a new technician in order to be serviced today. That day ( not a day before as usual) my phone rang. I was busy, trying to leave. When I got the msg the she tech left, it was "Well, you're not home so I guess I'll have to reschedule ". Really? I SAID I wouldn't be available & you don't need inside anyway! Now, the tech just a few weeks ago (I was out of the country but told him I'd seen an ant so get ready; it's a real problem here), was. . . . Wait for it; the BA guy's BROTHER. Who, of course, a month later when I got back, was no longer a tech for them. Isn't nepotism wonderful? So I left a msg for the chick tech that was bothering me when she wasn't suppose to, to advise that I expected the usual service of web/ bug brushing around windows and doors & our outbuilding garage/office/ pool house. She said, "No one told me to do that". !!! That's regular service! She did not. She "treated" my house, where she'd never been & didn't KNOW, in 10 minutes. She got out of the truck another 5. So I go to my meeting & find out said chick tech had been to daughters house and "brushed" down her windows, leaving muddy, dirty streaks. We are dropping Terminix. I am also a Commercial Customer. That's three accounts. There is plenty of competition out there. They had one good tech. Great, knowledgeable guy, grew up in the industry &. . . okay, Navy Seal. He was so helpful. The minute I met him, I said goodbye in the same sentence. Of course he wouldn't last. And why should he when he himself told me Terminix didn't care about their employees or customers. We have been using Terminix for 8 years and have been happy with our service until this week. We had an appointment scheduled and the service tech did not show up. We have attempted to contact Terminix for three days, being forced to leave messages because "their representatives are busy with other customers". I have used Terminex for 3 years. Before, they had been quick with additional service (we periodically have issues with ants). At the end of Aug, I requested additional treatment and got no response. A week later, I scheduled additional service online and the appt was confirmed by email. No one showed or called. Then I got an email suggesting that I canceled. So, this week, a guy from a Terminex office in OKC called and wanted to schedule service for mosquitoes (even though that season is over). I guess the Tulsa office is having major issues if OKC has to help. I am wishing that I didn't pay for my service a year at a time, now. read more

I've had termite protection with Terminix for 3 years. I recently noticed termite damage and had them come out and look at it. One of their techs came and looked and took pics. He said his supervisor would get in touch. That was over a month ago. I've followed up with the tech and he said he would f/u with his boss. I would give 0 stars if I could. In my experience Terminex has the worst customer service that I have experienced in a long time. First they schedule when they will come to your house and then make you explain why you are canceling. I requested to the tech to change to someone else. Did not happen.. Then I called in and requested a change and to not be harassed by that person. Then called a third timeand they assured me that I would never be contacted by that tech. The fourth time I called to complained I was placed on hold for 33 minutes before getting a phone call from a someone that told me and she talked to the tech and the tech requested the change and I should be quiet and she will tell me how this works. I can tell you how this works, I am the customer not you.. Save yourself the head ache and go with someone else. They are not hassle. read more

Seriously, do not waste your money. I unfortunately was a moron and paid 9K on services that have not been fulfilled. During the summer I had some critters that were causing me concern on my outside property. Called Terminex for an estimate. Sales dude was good, prayed on every fear I had, ended up signing a contract for guttering, encapsulation of my crawl space, and pest control (to take care of the critters which were my initial issue). This company was FAST to complete the initial installation. Man, this company was quick to take my money and start the process, but not so good on follow up or completion. I've been waiting for over a month for the completion of my encapsulation services. Terminix does not respond or remediate issues. I have used the joke of a "contact us" email as well as called their 800#. The service techs make appts that they do not keep. Guess what moron still has critters?! Yep! Me! So much for the "Terminex Promise." Utter BS. I am still awaiting for the elusive electrician to install the power source for the humidifier that is still not in my plastic tarped crawl space that I have already shelled out my hard earned cash for four years of maintenance. My gutters already have come loose on one corner. And as previously mentioned, still have those critters. Matter of fact, one greeted me on my deck this evening. LOVELY!!! Yep! Those traps have not been checked or replaced despite my multiple attempts to make contact. The "pest" traps they put out are cardboard. They fall apart when it rains and what rodent is going to go into a broken trap?! Plus, these traps are not what I was told was going to happen according to the fabulous sales person. So far, Terminix = lies and deceit. And a waste of money. I would give ZERO stars if Yelp would allow it, but they do not. So Terminix aka thieves are getting 1 star too many. Twice now a spray man has come to our house; first time he sat in his car and didn't spray and charged us for a service we never got; 2nd time another one came out and knocked down a few spider webs and never sprayed and left; trying to charge us again for services not rendered. Apparently Terminix has some bad eggs working for them. Be sure to have your security cameras recording for these worthless men. For several years, I had Terminix services out of the Tulsa (Broken Arrow) office. I got mediocre service on a good day, and those good days were preciously few and far between. I'd call with an issue, and despite a "24 hour solution guarantee", would often (always) be told that someone wouldn't be able to help for days. Despite calling the Tulsa office number, I'd never get someone actually in Tulsa. I'd get call centers scattered across the country. I'd leave messages requesting calls back from Tulsa, and these calls would never come. Appointments were regularly missed. Requests for calls before service visits were unmet. (As I work outside the home, it is appreciated so that I can meet people at home, rather than waiting around the home indefinitely.) Finally, after a two page letter outlining my complaints and advising Terminix that I would no longer be using their services, they continued to schedule (and bill) for services. I've since relocated outside of Tulsa, but continue to get emails from Terminix trying to sell me on returning to their business. Horrible Customer service, we moved and cancelled our Terminix account they still charged us after our account was closed. Been trying to get a refund for a month and a half now, called 7 times each time the person says the account is open and no refund has been issues, then they say i will close it and issue a refund. Just waited on hold for 30 min then hit the call me back number. When they called me back they talked to me for 5 min and then put me on hold for an hour. I eventually hung up because i was still at work and needed to get off the phone. read more

FIND SOMEONE ELSE! I am still using their services and am not going to stop. However, if I'd known everything I know now I wouldn't have used them. In August I paid for multiple services: a dehumidifier in my crawl space, termite bait stations, mold treatment, bug treatment and mouse treatment, and for all entrances for pests to get into my house to be blocked off. First problem: they don't respond. They make appointments (and change them) without any notice. It's really annoying. They've also been late on multiple occasions. Second: for whatever plan I did I was told by paying a monthly fee they'll come and respray and check the bait stations every three months and if there are any issues in between appointments I can call and they'll send someone. Well I had issues and called but was ignored. The whole month! And still got charged the monthly fee even though no one came out! I told one of their reps I wanted to cancel because they weren't following through on their contract. She told me there would be a cancellation fee of a few hundred dollars and any work (including the dehumidifier installation) that wasn't done wouldn't be done even though I'd paid for it. I sent an angry email and was told the lady was wrong about some parts but there would be a fee and they sent someone out who did spray but I got no money back or explanation as to why I was ignored. third: I paid for the dehumidifier in full in August. I'm typing this January 7th. IT WAS INSTALLED TODAY! And I had asked before! Today a man told me that they had in their records they had installed it. I told him if that's the case no one has told me and the last time someone came and looked he said there was new mold (they were supposed to have treated this too) and the dehumidifier wasn't installed. He went into my crawl space and about ten minutes later told me they just forgot to plug it in. So it has been sitting there for months as if I'd never bought it because.... they didn't plug it in. Wow. I asked him about the new mold and he said that can happen but the treatment should kill it. We'll see. Fourth: I was told I have about 3 mice. Well I've caught 5. And there is still poop everywhere even though my house has supposedly been sealed. UGH. Go somewhere else. I'm so mad I didn't listen to other reviews and probably threw a few thousand dollars down the drain. I will update if their service considerably changes since I am still using their service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! My husband and I have utilized Terminex for the termite control and monitoring for several years. Therefore, when we realized we had a rodent issue, we naturally turned to them for help. They quoted a price and we paid it ($1800). They came out to seal up the exterior of the home. Now, one would assume this would result in careful, professional work. Unfortunately, we ended up with bubbling, shotty-looking work that detracts from the home appearance (I have photos). Still a rodent issue and now, unsightly areas where they attempted to plug entry points. They laid poison at one point and again, problem continues. The work was poor, and the results were equally poor. Recently, they withdrew $111 from our account stating that we had to tell them "not to" do it, or it would simply be done. Not to mention, they charged additional money for simply "walking around" property on a day we could not be present and were adamant that because the tech logged it in the notes, we had no room to complain nor doubt that anything occurred. My husband attempted to dispute it, but the customer service rep had no interest in assisting with our concerns. The money we have spent with NO results has been frustrating and disappointing to say the least. We have sent a $200 payment for the disputed charge with a threat from them of sending it to collections if we did not. There was never a concern that we were dissatisfied. There was never an attempt to make things better. No customer service, no integrity, and no concern that the job is not being done well. Who does business this way? read more

I give this review 2 stars instead of 1 solely for the pest control side of this. My Tech Sherry has done an amazing job taking care of my home the past few years. The poor part of the review is for management and their handling of installing gutter shields/re-insulating my attic, as well as the payments planned. I needed both done and thought it was convenient Terminix could supply both. When they came out to do the install they only did part of the house, then left without checking with me if there were any other areas besides the main attic entry point they needed to insulate. It took 3-4 months of calling to get back on the schedule to have the other rooms properly insulated. Then, one of the gutters started leaking by my back deck window and they told me it was not a problem with the gutter guards, but the gutters themselves and they could do nothing about it. For the thousands of dollars I agreed to pay them I assumed the gutters would be properly cared for. Apparently putting the gutter guards on was the only thing I paid for, not making sure the gutter was functional with the guard in place. Back to when they quoted me a price and laid out a few different payment plans. I selected a 3 year one as it did not appear any interest would be incurred (there was no mention of it in the packet they left me with the prices, nor did the serviceman who came out to do the quote mention it). I understand miscommunications can occur. I reached out and asked if there was another payment plan I could switch to to incur less interest and they said they would see what they could do. I wouldn't mind paying more monthly to get it taken care of quicker. It took 4 months of me pestering the "manager" Mark here in Tulsa for him to finally get me a new contract signed. For the last 8 months I have been charged the same amount, with the same interest rate for the original plan. Every month I text Mark about this and he tells me he has "sent this up the ladder" and is not sure why it has not been changed. I have been more than patient, but I am going to now just pay the remaining balance in full and stray away from Terminix's services on my next home I plan to buy in the next 5 years. If you are looking to get their general pest control use, I would say they are an OK company. But any of the other services they offer I would not recommend in good faith to any friends or family. This company charged our credit cards for two years after we moved out of the house and canceled service. They refuse to acknowledge they did anything wrong and will not offer any sort of reimbursement, or services to help offset over $1700. Never call these crooks. read more

I used this company for the last 12 months , I bought the 12 month plan and when the 12th month came along they did a small ant service but it didn't take care of the issue, The service man came back and sprayed for ant's and that took care of them , Now this is where the issue started they sprayed for ants when it was the 13th month and i rec'd a bill for another service for the spraying , This service wasn't in the 12 month contract i signed up and paid for , They said since i didn't call in and cancel i was obligated to pay the 99.00 fee for the out of contract service, My complaint is they wont tell you your contract is up , They allow their agent to go past the 12 month contract so they can obligate you to a new service , Beware of this they do not tell you when you buy and pay for the 12 month service . It's a ploy to jab you for a new fee , The service was great i have no issue there , But they're sly when it comes to telling a person up front how they operate read more

I have called 5 times hung on the phone 20 mins no one answers the phones and finally hung up! term has gone way down hill in the last ten years! sent a drunk woman to spray our home she showed up with a can of terminix spray went to my back wall kitchen sprayed in three spots and said is there any where else you want me to spray! I thought what is wrong with her? drunk we suspected! then I told her 5 times yes! the whole house! never did it then went outside supposed sprayed around our house but was back in 1 min. we couldn't believe it. then another tech came sprayed for wasp and and said he couldn't spray anything else or it would be extra money what??? then I called the home office and they said he was wrong our contract is for outside and in anything else we are not to be charged. called to reschedule an appt. they did supposedly then a tech calls said they never rescheduled geez terminix you are hiring or contracting out to worthless ppl dumbasses we will never use your service again. The worst service ever. We had bed bugs so the date they were scheduled to come out the tech did not come by the 5 pm deadline. We called them and they said we weren't on the schedule. We'd already gotten a hotel room because we had to be out of the house 8 hours. They finally got someone out that night late. The next there scheduled appointments for them to check the house we had no call no shows. Every time saying we were not on the schedule. Excuses constantly and we are out over $3000.00 and they won't do there job. The last two appointments were set by the manager and he's saying he is in charge of all appointments and he didn't schedule ours, when he was the one who called us to set the appointments. read more
