Horrible company. We had a door to door salesman come to our door and sign us up with rates the company lied about and put us in collections because we wouldn't pay the amount the they told us we owed because it wasn't the amount we agreed to. After we dealt with that issue and ended up paying the lied about cost we had issues with them lying about coming out and spraying all together! So they would have to come out and spray again or really just spray because they never came in the first place. Its no wonder this company isn't better business bureau accredited. read more

I have been a Midwest customer for over a year. My wife HATES spiders and she insisted that we call. I thought I could get rid of her bugs with the spray you get at a hardware store. I was wrong. She called them and we started seeing a difference immediately. Since then, we haven't missed a treatment. The technicians are very friendly, clean cut and efficient. Midwest Pest has treating our home for quite sometime but recently there have been changes in the way they operate they put you on a schedule according to what is best for them without ever informing you of this plan even after the first time you use them and show up to spray your home at that date and if you are not home spray something that only they know Then you receive a bill for the entire job So your home still has bugs and you owe them as if they completely treated your home But do not worry they will be out next month and if you are not home spray something unknown and again send you a bill read more

Wow! Honesty is a problem with these guys! "Yes, we sprayed inside and out!". Funny, I wasn't home the week you say you came, and the yard gate was locked... Called and complained stating that the technician could not have serviced the house or yard, unless he broke in and jumped over the 6 ft privacy fence. The fellow on the phone says "stranger things have happened...". You are fired. Period. Called and said we were cancelling service. Receptionist told us we could transfer service to our new house. We declined. She asked why. We said we have had many issues with their technicians over the years. She said "OK". Opportunity for customer service and quality control missed. We have had Midwest coming to us quarterly for the past two years. They do a great job each time, and the best part about having a regular service is that anytime we have an issue, they come back out at no charge. Last summer ants were a big issue and they came out every week until it was solved. We also recommend this service to our friends and family and receive a discount. In Oklahoma, you either prevent the bugs, or you have them. Everyone we have ever dealt with at Midwest has been so kind and eager to help us out. Billy, our favorite technician, always asks specific questions to make sure we get the best service for our needs. They are fantastic! And ask for Billy, he's the best of the best! read more

Deplorable service. They sold me a quarterly service and came in August and September. Not quite quarterly. The worst part is they have sprayed five times in two months and have yet to eliminate anything. I think they use sugar water, as the ants really love what they are spraying. I have called them out three times plus the two "quarterly" sprays and they have yet to solve the problem. So I fired them today and they sent me a $90 bill for terminating the contract! I have filed an official complaint with the Oklahoma Attorney General. Run from these people! Run! read more

I have been using Midwest pest for 2 years.The technicians have always been curious kind working with our health issues, but the management will not honor the quotes their technicians give. They are not honoring a quote for service we received. We had a situation come up and needs assistance. We are on a fixed income and My husband is 100% disabled from the Vietnam war we are raising three grandchildren money is tight. We got a quote for service for $1,600 we said we couldn't afford that and the (technician) sales person called in and spoke with management and we got a quote for $800 which was written on the back of their business card. When we had saved the money up ($800) we called to schedule an appointment they price suddenly jumped up to $1200. They will not back off that price it is poor customer service in my book. Until recently we had our home treated quarterly by Midwest Pest. Service was good at first: attentive, well-trained staff. It seemed like they were new to the area and really trying to make a good impression. Then things started to deteriorate. Staff changed and the new person was clueless. He didn't treat several areas and we had to request a retreat. On at least three occasions our family dinner has been interrupted when their guys ring our doorbell to advertise their services. We politely told them we were already customers and to please stop the solicitations. After three requests it took a phone call to their office to get them to stop. Worst of all when you call you have to wait through an advertisement before you speak to a human. After several other frustrating experiences I called to cancel our quarterly service, saying that we prefer to use them on an as needed basis. They said they didn't offer such a service. I politely remarked that if any one there cared enough to listen I would gladly share my experience with them. They were not interested. Apparently they're not as hungry as they were a couple years ago. I'll find someone else that cares about providing good customer service. read more

They keep showing up and spraying our house after we've told them to stop. Tried to skip some sprayings because of pregnancy, yet they still showed up and sprayed. A second sprayer has shown up a couple days after telling the first one that we didn't want service that quarter. They call to tell that they will be spraying soon, but they do this after someone has already sprayed. We've tried to cancel service a few times. On the phone, they say that it's taken care. But then someone shows up and sprays our house. This company is either incompetent or shady. read more

My family moved into a house in midtown Tulsa in May 2014. We have a good size yard, and I want my children to be able to play in the yard without fear of spiders or bugs. Searching the internet, I contacted many pest control companies. Many gave me a hard sell, most changed their prices when I did not commit immediately, and I got a general feeling to keep looking. I actually turned to yelp and read a review about Midwest. Upon reading the review, I checked their website and did some reading there as well. When I called to inquire, I got a completely different feeling on the phone. The price never changed, and all questions I asked were answered in a consistent manner. Even when the answers were contradictory to answers others had given me, the competition was never slammed or insulted. The how's and the why's were simply explained. I felt good and comfortable after that initial call. We signed up for service and after the initial treatment, we found out the home a much larger roach issue than we had known. When we called Midwest, they put us back on the schedule for a free treatment. They explained the importance of us calling them anytime we think there is an issue. Even one or two is a sign there might be more is what was explained to me. They did not want me to feel bad if I had to call and have a treatment every month or two months between regular treatments. It felt as if they wanted the infestation controlled as much as we did. It only took the one additional treatment to bring things under control, but I appreciated that they cared. I appreciated that I did not feel as if they had just taken our money and we will see you at your scheduled treatment. I felt as if they genuinely cared about our wants and needs. This is a great company that I will do business with for a long time in the future. read more
