I did not have a good experience with Dr. Delaney. I drove all the way from Castro Valley to have him tell me I have to live with the pain. He ordered the wrong MRI to begin with and is not experienced enough to deal with issues he has no experience on. It took his office 4 months to get me into an MRI. Dr Delaney is a very personable and capable physician. I just finished my 3 months post op and everything has healed up nicely after a full knee replacement. Overall, I'm surprised how well it went and credit Delaney with an excellent overall experience. I was shocked to see my pain disappear in my joint where arthritis had set in. The minor healing that continues is just tissue related and I have minor swelling still to overcome. The joint feels solid and safe and the physical therapy seems to be helping a lot. I was highly recommended to Dr. Delaney by a good friend who is a PT and has had an association with him for the past 30 years. Dr. Delaney did a thorough exam on my knee. He manipulated it every which way to make sure he could make a proper diagnosis. Even though I was in some discomfort during the exam, I appreciated his vigorous examination and hands-on work and would not have had it any other way.
