Döner sandwich
Ciera O.

My first Doner experience in Berlin right after arriving, but it honestly was pretty good! The meat was juicy and tender and there was a good amount of it in the sandwich. The bread had a nice crunch to it without being too much. I wish the spicy sauce was a little bit more of a kick, but it still had a nice flavor. The service was very fast, I walked in and they immediately took my order and it was ready in 3 minutes. There was a little bit of a language barrier, mostly on me not paying attention enough, but non German speakers will have no problems ordering and eating here. They have a minimum of 8,50 Euro for credit card payments, but if you're getting sandwich, fries, and drink that will be no problem. My sandwich alone was 7,50 and I paid cash. Overall, would recommend trying out this place is in the area and need food

The whole staff is mean and even their older guy I guess he is the owner or supervisor is rude. Will not recommend! Location: It is located along Wilhemstrabe. The interior is ok with seating outside and inside. Service: the whole staff is rude including their boss, im not sure if he is the boss or owner but he is the eldest there. There was a line. And the boss ask my order then i paid, he told me to move to the side with an arrogant voice. I didn't say anything. Then the lady in front of me move to the other side thinking she was took all her orders. So I told the guy who is making the doner to not put hot sauce on mine. The boss told me "thats not yours!" I said "ok I didn't know". Then the guy who is making the order ask me you don't want hot sauce? So i said "he said it's not mine" pointing at the boss. The boss told me "it's yours!" With an upset voice. I told him "you just told me it's not mine and its hers" then the boss said to another staff "talk to him" and he said something with their language and all the staff laughs. Like for real that is how you treat your customers? Have some manners! There is a lot of pictures of you with celebrities inside your restaurant. Do I have to be a celebrity to be treated right??? Food: we bought the Doner Menu. To be honest it was not good. This is not because they treated me unwell. But the meat is dry and there is nothing special about it. I went here because we wanted to try kebab in Germany. Price rating: 6/10 it is cheap but not good. Well I will never come back nor recommend this place. Such a nasty attitude.

We are from the states so this was our first time having Döner Kebab. Heard a lot about it from our tour guide and this was just a place that we ran into while walking around. I would definitely recommend. Was very good. If you like spice, get the hot sauce too

Not the best doner kabob but it certainly won't disappoint, the seating is a little tight. Prices are reasonable, this place is also cash only.

popular spot with a nice patio, but the meat lacks flavor and texture and sauces are average.

I consider myself something of a Döner aficionado (a self-proclaimed "Dönermeister"), and My Döner…read morein Alt-Moabiter Str. ranks among my very favorite in Berlin. In fact, I would now consider it my go-to place. Over the years, I have developed a proprietary Döner rating system based on the following categories: -Bread -Meat -Sauce -Salat ...and a more general "synergy" category that tries to evaluate the overall experience of that particular Döner while also serving as a catch-all for other things like price, friendliness, value, etc. My Döner, which is owned by a wonderful Turkish-German named Mezlüt (a baker by training), earns high marks for all of these: -Bread: 4 (hot, crispy, and pretty traditional) -Meat: 5 (plentiful, tasty, and not fatty) -Sauce: 5 (the ever-elusive "Cocktailsoße") -Salat: 5 (fresh) -Synergy: 5 (all elements blended perfectly together from start to finish) When in Berlin, one naturally has the choice of quite literally hundreds of Döner stands, and I am rarely disappointed no matter where I go. But the quality of My Döner--and Mezlüt's friendliness and commitment to his craft (he enjoys his own Döner while there, after all)--not to mention the massive Döner you get here for just 3€, is my new favorite and definitely worth your attention. It doesn't have the unique veggies of Mustafa's or the hype of some other ones, but the fact is that there is no gimmick here. It is just a delicious, traditional, and masterfully assembled Döner, every time, and always with a smile. Thank you, Mezlüt!!
