In our chocolate bar making class, we made two identical Ritter bars of a unique-to-you flavor. There are about 24 mix-ins and they allow you to choose 3 so the flavors are preserved. Then you chose your chocolate. While the bars are setting, you have an educational session on Ritter and on chocolate. Our tour was mainly Germans so they only spoke English during this portion. However, during the TV visual portion there were English subtitles. As mentioned, there is a lot of Ritter to chose from in their store - small bars, big bars, all flavors including limited edition flavors, gifts boxes, a meter of chocolate. And there is a small cafe with drink and sweets. We didn't utilize the cafe nor did we purchase extra chocolates. We really enjoyed our time! My brother is an absolute ice-cream fiend so was over the moon to come across this place on a recent trip to Berlin. I wanted the macaroon ice-cream sandwiches but as they didn't have any macaroons I opted for a caramel and honeycomb ice-cream sundae but also got to taste the Cookie Crunch and Brownie Extravaganza sundaes too. Everything was great, the ice-cream is such great quality it's hard to go wrong and everything was so nicely presented we almost didn't want to eat them (yeah right). The service was a little slow and they had a problem with the card machine which they only told us when we were paying at the end which was a little awkward but apart from that it was great. The owners have totally committed to the vintage theme, more breakfast at Tiffany's than shabby chic. All the way from the décor to the music. The cakes and coffee were delicious, my friend was really excited to try the vegan tea range. She went for the vanilla elephant tea and I went for the standard cappuccino plus a slice of yummy blueberry cheesecake. They didn't disappoint. The tearoom is decorated so beautifully, please see attached pics for a visual. They have outdoor seating, then an indoor semi covered café area and a cosy lounge at the back. The service was great too. They provided complimentary hairspray, perfume and deodorant in the bathroom which is a big help in 29 degree weather. The most surprising thing is they don't charge an arm and a leg, if this place was in London we'd have paid about £20 easily but the prices were the same as any other coffee shop chain e.g. costa coffee.
