    chicken doner

fire doner, i loved !! so much better than the ones in england. all the fresh crunchy vegetables were such a great contrast to the rich, juicy meat. i loved the mango curry sauce as well. it being served in a german bun instead of a wrap was also super unique! the various vegan options including halloumi, falafel and seitan were really nice to see. in general i loved how great berlin is about having veggie options. the location was super close to my hostel and it was open very late. didn't like the card minimum at 10 euro but that's pretty standard across berlin. the fries were not very crispy is my only complaint.

Awesome kebap place with vegetatian option. You might need to wait at peak hours but its definately worth.

I saw Mustafa's on YouTube. It definitely lived up to the hype. This was a prime example of European street food at its best. For around 10 Euro you can fill your self up and still have some beer money.

There is nothing you could say negative about this place, beyond the wait. It really boils down to whether you have time or not. My wait on a week day evening was 45 minutes. But I was ready to take it on as a challenge. The corner smells of curry/grilled chicken/shawarma. Even though I had watched Youtube videos, I didn't anticipate the flavors exactly. The main distinction from traditional Turkish doner kebab is the addition of the fried veggies, sauce, and feta cheese on top. I would strongly recommend trying, it is not just a hype. I only wish they had a corner you could eat. This is literally the exit of the U-bahn and nowhere to stand and eat.

How could you not love the best kabob in Berlin. Fast friendly service. There is a little bench you can sit and enjoy but basically take it and find a place. A must stop when visiting Germany.

Mustafa's Gemüse Kebap has got to be offering one of the best döner kebaps in all of Berlin! The lines at this food truck attest to this fact, and indeed, the döner kebaps here are made a little differently than elsewhere. It starts with a crusty toasted oblong roll, on which is layered a choice of sauce (I like the spicy red chili sauce for a kick), slices of chicken döner cut fresh from a rotating spit, grilled vegetables including eggplant, peppers, and potatoes, and fresh salad including lettuce, tomato, cucumber, carrot, and red onion, all dressed with crumbled feta cheese. The best part of the kebap was the chicken döner itself, which was perfectly seasoned with herbs and spices and had a nice crispy texture from the fire. Truly a delicious creation!

I am so happy my friend decided to take me here for my first meal in Berlin. I had no clue where I was going but when I arrived the line was half a block long. The wait was so long that we were able to knock down a couple beers and went back and forth to the restrooms. I even questioned myself if this was worth the wait, but when I finally got my first bite I was in heaven. The doner has a bit of everything in it that just compliments each other. The grilled chicken that has been on a pit rotating, mixed with onions, a variety of veggies and some tzatziki sauce. Every bite made me crave for more, I hope to come back here someday when I get the opportunity again!

This was the BEST kebab I've ever had, the bread was crispy, the chicken succulent, the use of feta blew my mind. As a British man who loves a pint I have had many kebabs and this blew me away. If you're okay with queueing the service is great. Service was friendly and the place has a certain feeling that I can't replicate, go right next door and have a bottle of beer with your street kebab and just feel the city.

We went to this place on a weekday night and it was such a long wait. It's definitely a touristy spot; I think almost everyone in line was a tourist. It took us about 2 hours to get our food. It's filling but I think I could have eaten 2. It's what you would expect out of a kebab. The bread is nicely toasted, sauce is good, chicken is delicious, and veggies are very fresh. I think the wait was worth it just to try it out since it's so famous, but I don't think I would go again. It doesn't taste that much different from other kebab places I've tried in Berlin, and it'd be hard for me to tell you which was truly better. +

I recently was on a Baltic Sea coast vacation, and visited Berlin w/ my family. Berlin is well known for their doner kebab sandwiches, so I knew I had to try Mustafas. Besides the 2 hour wait we endured (yes I am one of those idiotic tourist haha..anything for good food), the chicken doner kebab on pita bread was one of the best I have eaten (besides the one I ate in Dubai). This doner kebab beat all of the ones I have eaten in my hometown NYC. The pita bread was toasted to perfection, the vegetables were so crunchy and savory (the random potato piece made the sandwich even better) + the sliced chicken pieces was seasoned so well. This doner kebab was perfection! This place is worth the wait, maybe 1 hour the most. For me, although the doner kebab was truly delicious and the best I had - if I had to choose again I would not wait 2 hours for it. P.S - I started waiting on line at the area right between the currywurst & the bar next to it (that was my 2 hour wait).

As the #1 most-Yelped spot in the city, Mustafa's Gemüse Kebap topped our list of places to try. The hahnchen doner mit gemuse (chicken doner with vegetables) delivered! If a mouth-watering tumble of seasoned chicken and vegetables pillowed in buttery French-like bread sounds good to you, RUN, don't WALK to MGK! AMBIENCE (3/5) Look for MGK's food truck near the U-Bahn station on the west side of Mehringdamm in Kreuzberg. Having read the Yelp reviews about 1-2+ hour lines, I arrived ~11pm prepared to wait. Luckily, the 10-15 person line in front of me moved quickly. 15 minutes and €3.50 later, I had a hot, fresh kebab in hand! There's no seating available, but you can hang out on the sidewalk and enjoy your sandwich. FOOD (5/5) Invented in the 19th-century Ottoman Empire, the vertical rotisserie revolutionized the cooking of meat. Similar to Greek gyros, Arab shawarma, and Mexican al pastor, doner kebab is a type of kebab, with meat cooked on a vertical rotisserie. Spiced meat stacked in an upside-down cone turns slowly on the rotisserie, next to a vertical cooking element. The outer layer is sliced into shavings as it cooks. MGK concisely offers four main options: - hahnchen doner mit gemuse (chicken doner with vegetables) - gemusekebap (vegetarian doner kebab) - durum (chicken with vegetables flatbread wrap) - vegetarisch durum (vegetarian flatbread wrap) The truck also offers: - donerteller (doner plate, ie doner minus bread, with chicken on one side and veggies on the other) - gemuseteller (vegetarian doner plate) - salatschale (salad in a bowl) - assorted beverages I ordered the regular chicken doner with vegetables. The staff carved chicken off the rotisserie, piled on cooked veggies ranging from sliced potatoes to bell peppers, added MGK's secret sauce, sprinkled on feta cheese, and squeezed fresh lemon juice over this mountainous masterpiece of a quick meal. As is the norm, there are three sauces for selection: Kräuter (herb), Knoblauch (garlic), Scharf (spicy). From the first flavor explosion to stuffing big bites that each included chicken, veggies, and buttery bread in my mouth, I thoroughly enjoyed my kebab. SERVICE (4/5) More efficient than I'd anticipated! I can see how waits could get long, though, so it might be smart to go during off-peak hours. PRO TIP: The city's second most visited spot, Curry 36, is right next door! I'd recommend snagging a currywurst with fries to munch on while you wait in line for kebabs. Street food heaven!

Tasty different take on doner kebab, with chicken as the based with vegetables in the standard bread with standard toppings and sauce. The spicy here is actually medium spice. Will have to wait around 30 minutes in line but worth it.

    Oh glorious Mustafas
