Mckinlay eating teller plates kofta and falafel

Amazing food for an amazing price! Cheap wraps and teller plates are as delicious as they are filling! A great spot for a bite on the go or even to sit and enjoy great food in great ambience! My friend Mckinlay especially enjoyed her two teller plates.

Berlin is full of Turkish kebab places. Which aren't bad, they're actually really good. But this place is actually Lebanese/Syrian and that does make a bit of a difference tastewise. But not in a bad way! What is really good about this place is that it's very affordable - me and my friends had 3€ shoarmas, both beef and chicken ones. And it wasn't just that the meat was different, they varied when it came to ingredients, in ex. the chicken one had fries inside. They were very tasty! But actually the menu isn't just shoarmas. It's very rich and written out in both german and arabic, if that helps! There is seating space inside and also outside on sunny days. The interior is pleasant with wooden and beige details. The lines to the counter confirm that the food is good and popular!

Everything in the platter was delicious, but the falafel in particular was out of this world!!! It was so different from the falafels I'm used to. It's crunchy on the outside. Locate the place and order the most recommended dish. Al-Andalos is located in the busy part of Neukölln, right on Sonnenallee. On a Saturday night at 10 p.m., it was full to the rim. No seats, stressed out staff, people fight for seats and the spot in the line to get the delicious food. We ordered the Al-Andalos platter for two (meat) for 11 EUR, which comes with an entire package of Arabic/Lebanese bread. We were barely able to finish the entire plate, there are many tasty things on this plate and even my companion that night, who is generally not so quickly to impress, admitted that it was probably the best he has eaten in a long time. Fresh, tasty, large portions and fair prices. Staff is super friendly and attentive! I think I will have to drive out to Neukölln more often!

2.50 Euro for a Shawarma? Definitely the cheapest I've ever paid the Moroccan chicken/veggie wrap…read more Little that I know... you get what you pay for. Pretty flavorless, and the bread was not even warm. Pretty much a no-go for a Shawarma. On the other hand, you can't beat their prices. I recommend going for a "Teller" (plate) instead, the portions are bigger and you'll pay around 6 Euro. The crowd can be questionable here, likely due to the fact that Goerlitzer Park is closeby. If you want better quality and a nicer environment try out nearby Baraka, otherwise this place will do.

No matter WHAT this is, though--the food here is amazing, the prices are jaw-droppingly cheap. They have freshly squeezed orange and carrot juice (about 3 euros a cup, last time I went) that I had to cut myself off from before I went broke, haha! They have plenty of seating, both indoors and out, and I have always managed to find a seat, even when it was packed during the world cup. My suggestion: bring a friend and order the Rissani Teller, you will NOT be disappointed. Between two people, this plate is HARD to finish. They give you TONS of food for the price (about 8 euros, I believe--but don't quote me on that!). The plate is a giant sampler of all their best stuff, including: shawarma, felafel, hummus, fried halloumi, and mountains of veggies. The best part is this deep fried eggroll-type thing they put on top, filled with halloumi and spinach (I think?), which is my favorite food EVER! They also have three sauces: a yogurt/garlic sauce, a mango sauce, and a chili sauce. It sounds weird, but try all three--at once! Trust me, it's good! Even if this restaurant were more expensive, I'd pay for it--it's quality food only made that much sweeter by its price tag.

Why? Cause the falafels were terrible. They are completely oversalted (I eat pretty damn salty) and they were greasy af 2) inside this food stand it's incredible dirty. The server also doesn't give a shit or makes a secret of it as he cleans stuff, takes your money and grabs the falafel with the same unwashed hands 3) We wanted to pay with coins and he said he doesn't take low values coins. lol! 4) since it's cheap the quality is accordingly. What was good of at all: 4 falafel for 1€ is cheap. maybe that's the reason people go here? My advice: there are so many better falafel spots. If you are on a budget. Ok give it a try but if that's not the case. Skip this place
