Outstanding fresh happy tasty food! Great place. Let this people work their magic. Either on a dish or in bread you can choose shawarma, falafel, Halloumi, Kafta (lamb meat), Merguez, chicken or vegetarian... everything is great. Also don't miss the Desserts .

Enormous and delicious Ali baba platte for 8 euros!

The "Ali Baba Platte" sampler platter was simply A-Meze-ing! When the man said it was "a little bit of everything:" he certainly wasn't kidding! A bounty of Lebanese goodness of all varieties literally overflowed off the massive plate. Spicy little links of merguez that snap open in you mouth mingle with perfectly charred little orbs of kofta and decadent fried squares of halloumi that struck the perfect irresistible counterbalance between the crispy fired exterior and gooey delicious innards. Add to this to this some of the best hummus and Baba Ganouj I've had anywhere, wonderful ball of fluffy falafel, and a gardens worth of perfectly perfectly prepared vegetable dishes yet the price still was somehow miraculously a mere 8 euros? Figuring out how this city is so amazing yet so affordable is truly a mystery for the ages.

I love the feeling when you accidentally discover new pearls of Friedrichshain. For sure one of them is certainly Ali Baba. Ali Baba is faster than Speedy Gonzalez or service in McDonalds. Before you finish a good look around the place, plate lands in front of your nose. Here you have wide range of dishes including vegan options. Alibaba taller for 1 person certainly can arrange for two people, the portions are really big. Come to Ali Baba and appease your big hunger!

The food here was amazing and the flavors were great. Not only was the food delicious but the price and service were awesome too. Definitely try this place! You won't regret it. :)

The Ali Baba plate was perhaps one of the most memorable food I've tried. Fresh and delicious. Staff was friendly also.

Tasty and in an interesting area, of a bit out of the way. Good place to stop and eat with friends if you're in the area.

Everything in the platter was delicious, but the falafel in particular was out of this world!!! It was so different from the falafels I'm used to. It's crunchy on the outside. And these falafels are HUGE! My friend lives in Berlin and this is her favorite place to eat. Come here if you have the chance, you won't regret it.

Locate the place and order the most recommended dish. Al-Andalos is located in the busy part of Neukölln, right on Sonnenallee. On a Saturday night at 10 p.m., it was full to the rim. No seats, stressed out staff, people fight for seats and the spot in the line to get the delicious food. We ordered the Al-Andalos platter for two (meat) for 11 EUR, which comes with an entire package of Arabic/Lebanese bread. We were barely able to finish the entire plate, there are many tasty things on this plate and even my companion that night, who is generally not so quickly to impress, admitted that it was probably the best he has eaten in a long time. Fresh, tasty, large portions and fair prices. Staff is super friendly and attentive! I think I will have to drive out to Neukölln more often!

For nine months I've been searching for the perfect falafel in Berlin…read more I haven't yet found it, but the falafel at Nour is the closest I've come. Admittedly, I'm pretty sick of the "falafel im brot" everywhere that comes in the thick, triangular bread. It's more filler than anything else, and leaves me with a heavy feeling in my stomach. What I miss is falafel that comes in wraps. You know it - the light, fluffy, dry, thin bread that compliments the falafel, as opposed to overtaking it. Well, they have it at Nour. I didn't know this when I went there though; I only knew that the boyfriend loves the halloumi, and suggested I eat there at some point. So when I found myself with a hankering for falafel today, I knew I had to try it. And not only did it come in wrap form, but everything about it was wonderful. The falafel was made on the spot (as opposed to being pre-made and reheated), the spicy sauce was the perfect amount of flavour and bite, and the wrap was delicious and warm. It turns out that this isn't a standard Turkish place. Instead, it's a Lebanese restaurant, which means that although the menus are similar, the taste and the style vary. So while I may not have found my falafel soulmate, I have found a place that gives me no reason to keep looking.

I have no idea how many times I ate here, but it was A LOT. I was with a group of people and whenever someone said, "Falafel?" we all knew it meant another trip to Nour. I ate A LOT of falafel while in Berlin in a few different places. They were all good, but none of them were as good as Nour. Their falafel is delicious and amazing but it's the entire package that really blows everyone else out of the water - their vegetables and sauces are the brightest and freshest and most flavorful. Their wraps are portable and the bread is not overwhelming, the plates are a huge piles of delicious food. The prices are great for a budget. (Halloumi is one of my all time favorite foods but, living in the States, I don't eat it very often because it's so. darned. expensive. But I could get Halloumi plates or wraps for the exact same price as falafel or schwarma!! I've died and gone to halloumi heaven!) Also, the guys that work there are so friendly, I really miss seeing them during one of my falafel trips or even just passing by and seeing them sitting outside. I've been learning Arabic the past year and they were always really patient and sweet about my insistence on practicing with them when I order. :) If/when I get back to Berlin, this is the number one place on my list of places to revisit... over and over again!
