I thought the food was delicious... yum, I'd definitely come back.. about time there a good Mexican food stop in town!

My wife, my son, and I decided to give the new Tequileros Taqueria a try, and I'm glad we did. We ordered the Taco Trio, the shrimp and lobster tacos, and the food was honestly the highlight of the visit. Everything was packed with flavor, and all the tacos were loaded with tender, well-seasoned meat and definitely caught our attention. The inside is really nice too. They've put a lot of thought into the design, and it has a modern, clean look with some really cool decor. The only reason I'm landing at 3.5 stars is the overall dining experience. You order at the counter, which I'm personally not a huge fan of, and you're also responsible for bussing your own table. The staff was friendly, but the service felt a little impersonal. The prices are also on the higher side, and $8 for chips and salsa felt pretty steep to us. Still, the food was delicious, and we enjoyed trying something new with our son. Tequileros definitely has good food and a beautiful space--I'd like to see a little more personal service and value for the price. read more

On a hot summer night in Patterson after making the decision to not cook dinner for the evening we settled on tacos. I waited for the hype to cool down before making my way I to this tequileros location after only being introduced to this chain a month ago but at the Turlock location. We're talking about our dear Patterson location, very roomy and very modern dinning area set for a intagram photo with neons throughout the dinning area. Walked in with an idea what was wanted for everyone just had to skim over the menu while inside for differences on prices of tacos and what comes on what item. I ordered for take out 3 tacos asada 3 tequileros tacos (2alpastor,1 asada) Asada nachos with no cilantro and no onions. This place is mid as can be. Plain tacos honestly not worth the price point of 3 bucks a pop. There just meh. The 3 tequileros tacos were alright nothing too crazy. Didn't seem hefty even with a whole extra added dollar for cheese. But the worst were the nachos. Just meh. The cheese wasn't even remotely melted and most of them didn't get eaten. I asked for salsa on the side and no onion and cilantro so of course they look plain just didn't know how spicy was there spicy. They didn't put any tequileros sauce on them either. . The meat is eh. It was cold and looked like it had been hot held far too long. All the food was luke warm. Took me two mins too get home and you can tell their rush to push food means food isn't being kept at tempt before assembly. I've grabbed tacos from across Patterson wrapped in plain foil and tacos come home hot. I didn't wait long and while I appreciate that I much prefer to get hot food that cheese is actually melted and tacos don't feel like tortillas have just been chilling waiting to have some asada slapped on. New restaurants take a minute to get up too speed but coming from a popular chain I would expect them to have some more level of degree of food quality especially for the price point that is being set. Almost 40 bucks for 6 tacos and nachos is crazy. I will say this. I've had food at the Turlock location and we absolutely loved it. So there's that. read more

Worst place. Definitely not worth the money or the wait. Imagine paying $10 per taco ($20 for two tacos) and waiting almost an hour, only to receive the wrong meat. I noticed people who ordered after me getting their food before me, so I finally had to ask about my order. When my food finally came, they told me they had run out of skirt steak and replaced it with ribeye without even asking me first. They should have told me beforehand and given me the option to accept the substitution or order something else. There was also no apology for the long wait or the inconvenience. On top of everything, the portion of meat was incredibly small for a $10 taco. And unfortunately, the tacos were extremely salty and tasted horrible. After waiting an hour, I was so hungry that I ate them anyway. $20 for two tiny, overly salty tacos, an hour-long wait, the wrong meat, and no apology. Extremely disappointing and a complete waste of money. read more

First impressions, place is pretty clean, nice lobby, decent amount of seating. Menu rotates pretty fast on the screens they have up, no physical menus (assuming they have been to busy to worry about them yet). The line to order was pretty slow, and hard to tell who is waiting in line or waiting on food. Cooks are working as quickly as they can, but the back up is real and pretty painful. Over an HOUR for Asada fries and finally gave up and got a refund. I understand new restaurants in the area get absolutely slammed for the first week or so, but the wait was painful to the extreme. Looks like they are prioritizing doordash orders and even the doordash people are pissed. Had high hopes for this place, but with service slower than molasses flowing uphill. Won't be back anytime soon! Wasted over an hour waiting for nothing besides a nice looking lobby and to deal with the poor girl dealing with pissed off people. Seriously need to shut down the online orders until they are able to get things under control. read more

We did a pick up order through their online system. Food was ready when quoted and we were not expecting that with the location just opening so that was a bonus. The order: Quesabirria tacos Super burrito asada add grilled onions, add guacamole, mild red salsa on the side and a cheese crust 2 of the jalapeños with cheese crust The tacos were good! Not as good as your mom or suegras birria but it was good and well proportioned and did not skimp on meat. My only request is more onion in the taco and cilantro would be nice. There were like 3 pieces of onion on the taco I ate. The consume was ok and did the job. The red salsa was really good. The burrito was also very good. We have never had a cheese crust on a burrito and loved it. The meat is generously proportioned and well seasoned. Guacamole had good flavor. Grilled onions were good. There was no sour cream in our burrito although the description said it came in it. After going back to the menu and checking I did see there is a box to add $1.00 for sour cream but given the description and the fact it's a super burrito I don't see why one would be additionally charged for that so I would recommend they go through their online ordering and correct this asap. The cheese crusted jalapeño with the sauce on it was so good. We really enjoyed it. We had very low expectations based on the existing reviews and the fact the location just opened... even with the confusion on the burrito the food was delicious and proportion was generous. We would definitely eat here again and hoping with time as they work out any kinks with just opening it's even better. It is pricey but you are getting a lot of food and guess what- everything is expensive now lol so it is what it is. Definitely recommend giving this business a try! read more

The place needs a lot of work. 12$ for Burrito and the cook doesn't know how to make El Pastor and Carne Asada to put In the burrito. Looked like he scraped beef that was on the grill for an hour and added to my burrito, an oily. The El Pastor looked like shredded beef no flavor it was not El Pastor. The menu for supreme Taco's is nice, but 20$ for two taco's when you can't even make a Burrito better than the Taco Trucks off of Las Palms and for less cost. Place is clean. The first time trying this place the food was really good and flavorful. Unfortunately, by my third time ordering, the food just wasn't the same. The asada has been hit or miss--sometimes tender, but other times very chewy. The al pastor has also become extremely salty, almost like there's too much seasoning. I really wanted to love this place because I enjoyed it so much the first time, but unfortunately, I'm going to have to pass for now. I really hope they improve the consistency and quality of their meats because I'd love to be able to enjoy it again. I can't really comment on the service since all three of my orders were through DoorDash. As for the restaurant itself, the ambiance looks nice and welcoming. read more

The food is actually really good but this is the second time we ordered food and it was missing sauce. Sauce can make or break a meal.

UPDate after eating the food: The only issue is I got a bad stomach ache that night and it lasted for 2 days. Not sure if I sampled too much, the jalapeno hurt my stomach or if it was the overall food itself. My sister who had the chicken quesadillas also got a stomach ache for two days (she only ate half and still got sick). - Because of this, we more than likely won't return. read more

Gave this spot a try since I work in the same shopping center - I have tried their food from the Salida location and enjoy their Taquilero Burrito. Service was quick - no line when I arrived and staff were attentive and polite. Very clean as well and noticeable upon entry. Only downside that knocked them down to 2 stars was that the food made me sick within a few hours. Perhaps their food handling isn't that great at this location. read more

Food was fine. No complaints in that area, we thought we had found our family spot in little Patterson. Unfortunately, tonight was our last time dining there. Tonight, my Caucasian husband asked if they served enchiladas and Melanie replied, "we are a taqueria" as if it were common sense that that would be an item on their menu. My mother in law ordered the nachos without cilantro or onion. When she received them she expressed she believed the menu said rice and beans came with the nachos. I asked Melanie and she replied that the nachos do not come with rice and beans. I went and read the menu and the nachos are not served with rice but they ARE served with beans. I told Melanie the menu showed no rice but showed beans were included in the nachos to which she replied, " you asked if it came with rice and beans". For someone that had just treated my non spanish speaking husband like an idiot because he didn't know what dishes are served at a taqueria, I would assume she had enough common sense to let me know the nachos do not come with rice, do come with beans could. All of which I expressed to her. She proceeded to tell me that my mother in law told her no rice and beans when she ordered. I corrected her and said my mother in law requested no onions and cilantro. She proceeds in an argumentative tone to tell me that she has a copy of the receipt. At this point, I ask for a manager and she tells me they do not have one. Really hope she learns that customer service matters and her lack of it is going to cost the restaurant growth in business. The place was clean, the food was decent, but the wait time was ridiculous. We waited for over an hour in the restaurant for a to go order. Until they manage to get it together (if they ever do) I would stay clear of this place. read more

Love the aesthetics and the entire atmosphere! I think it's so cute! I had their Tequileros asada tacos and their green avocado sauce was as a tasty touch! The service was also great! Especially with it being brand new to town; I expected it to be busy with everyone wanting to try this place.
