They must've forgot the tequila. Lol Inside was cute but it was so hot inside, hotter than outside. I was going to give a 3 but I decided not to hold them accountable for it being so hot inside the restaurant. The A/C didn't seem on but I guess it was because the doors were open.

We've lived in Texas and Arizona where street tacos are supreme so we were thrilled when our food tasted legit. Like many other Mexican restaurants, you're offered chips and salsa as you peruse the menu. I wasn't a huge fan of the salsa so we got some queso and it was a wee bit runny but great for dipping. I ordered the classic chimichangas with shredded chicken and then subbed the refried beans with rice which ended up being a perfect combination. It came out piping hot and the rice mixed in with the queso -- YUM!! My husband got the fajitas changa I believe as basically shredded beef with fajitas in tortilla wrap smothered in queso sauce. Both came with lettuce, tomatoes, guac and sour cream. Food came out super fast, our server was super attentive and even when my first plate was shredded beef instead of the chicken I ordered, he got me a fresh batch super quick and didn't charge for the kitchen error. We basically brought home a full meal because the portions are so large and filling!

Stopped mid afternoon for a late lunch on Lake Superior. This is a fairly popular resort with…read morethis stand alone restaurant/bar. 4 staff, 3 tables with 8 patrons and service was soooooo slow. Not sure why my cup of soup took 20 minutes to come, but when it did, it was the wrong soup. She left the wrong one at the table (smoky chicken wild rice) and said the kitchen was just heating up the corn chowder I ordered and it would be out on a minute. Three minutes later, the "corn chowder" was brought out. It was not hot and did not taste good. When the wait staff came out again, I asked her to take it because it wasn't good and her reply was "I'll see if the kitchen forgot something ". Wait....what?? I also ordered the forest mushroom flatbread. It looked pretty but this is a combination that should not exist. The flatbread was cut and then two fried eggs and arugula were place on top so you could not take a bite without losing the egg and salad. Also...when you say it is a "forest mushroom" flatbread, it should actually have wild mushrooms or just call it "Mushroom Flatbread ". On a positive note, the smoky chicken wild rice soup was delicious and the manager stopped by with her apology and a desert on the house. Hopefully I was just here on an off day

I loved the Portabella burger and my kids thought the burgers and fries were great! It's a little spendy - burgers are $18. There is free parking outside and nice view of Lake Superior! It's worth a stop here on your way up north!
