Was in the area and looking for a place for late lunch. This restaurant came up and looked good…read moresince we love teppan. We decided to do the teppan meals and Yutana was our chef. Teppan chefs have to do a lot. Besides cooking the food, they're expected to entertain the customers as well. Yutana was one of the best teppan chefs I've ever had. He was funny, but more importantly he was so kind to my daughter when she had a special request. Not only was the food delicious, but the service from Yutana was fantastic. The waitress service was okay, a bit on the slow side considering there wasn't a lot of people at the time. The restaurant is spacious and clean. I would definitely come back again for teppan when I'm in the area. Hopefully all of their chefs are as wonderful as Yutana.

Came in on a Tuesday night, party 8 got seated right away,…read more My family wanted to do grill and I'm not really a big fan of it, I asked to order from the other menu and they said I could only order if 75% of my party does the grill. I told them most of them wanted the grill. I think the price is a little expensive for teppan, in my opinion. My family said it was okay, they had better but just didn't like how everything was separate. Had the rice first , the entree then the veggies so it got cold, after a while. I order a rice bowl for me and my son and we didn't even finish. The teriyaki sauce was a little too much. But food was pretty decent. Not worth the price. Got the tofu app, it was pretty decent but for 10 bucks you're getting 5 pieces. Ehh I'm okay The service was good, but had to keep sending the fried rice back because it had spice and it was for the kids so it was a little spicy. The banana tempura was not crispy, could be better.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked right in front of us, which made it even better for the kids and the whole table. The hibachi chef kept everyone entertained, and the energy at the table was great. We ended up splitting the table with six other people, and by the end of the meal my dad was doing sake bombs with them like they had all known each other for years. That honestly made the night. It felt less like just going out to eat and more like a fun little dinner event. Good food, good service, good atmosphere, and a random shared table moment that turned into a great memory. Definitely a spot I'd recommend for family dinner, hibachi, or when you want something more fun than a regular sit-down meal.

My hubby and I come here often for date nights on a weekday or occasionally for someone's birthday…read more It's centrally located and across from the Harkins Movie Theater where we love watching movies. We really enjoy the happy hour at Shiki and my favorite drink there is the Mai Tai, but otherwise I'm a tequila girl. We usually sit at the bar for our date nights before watching a movie. Two weeks ago I ordered a tequila soda water and a baked salmon roll. My hubby ordered a teriyaki entrée that comes with miso soup, salad and white rice too, but we upgraded to the house fried rice to share. We love us some fried rice and I normally eat the miso soup lol. Other than long wait times when having a large party, service has always been good in all of our experiences there. We've done all the dining experiences they have to offer too! When they're busy it may take a little longer for the food to come out, but it's worth the wait. I love their ramen as well. I will update with another visit soon!

Let me start my review with the positives then I'll share my negatives. This business popped up on…read moremy IG. I started following them last year. I would see videos of all kinds of ppl saying come down best food/ hibachi in the IE. But I was hesitant cuz most of these videos were late at night and kids wildin out, not my kind of scene anymore lol. So this week the hubby has off and decided to go when they first open. Got there, we had no idea how to order. A young lady helped us with our order, then she saw it was my birthday she says I'll let you try the sauces for free this time, they are normally 1 dollar. I said cool, thank you so much. I didn't know anything about the sauces . She says it will take about 30 min. So we waited in our car. In about 20min our food was ready and we went home to try. We ordered a steak and chicken plate it came out to about 35 bucks. Our portion was good. Now let's dive into the flavors. I wanted to try the sauces first by themselves. The mayo one I'm going to assume it's for ppl who don't like spicy. And the other one when I first tasted it, I tasted 1,000 island dressing... but then a nice lil kick of heat gets you. That sauce had the perfect amount of heat that didn't take away from the food. The steak was perfectly cooked and tender. Chicken the same. The veggies were cooked to where they not soggy loved them. And that rice wow just brought all the flavors together. I stopped eating from food trucks about 8 years ago, but I took a chance with this one. I'm glad I did. Now let me get to the negatives. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION !!!!!! When I first drove up music was blasting from another food truck ( this is not so gud fault) then there was a drunk guy just wondering around ( the truck is parked in front of a liquor store) and also there was a guy on something talking to a tree and fence. ( again not so gud fault) even with my husband with me I didn't feel safe there. This is a mobile food truck, why the owner picked this location is a mystery. My second negative the sauces. Ppl are paying high prices for this amazing food, and you want to charge them for the sauce packets?!!?? That's crazy to me. I smaller plates should get their choice of 1 sauce and the bigger plates should get 2. That's just crazy to think I paid 35 bucks for the food and would have to pay a dollar for a sauce ( I got my free this day cuz it was my birthday). With all this said yes it's worth the money it is really good quality food coming from a food truck. But you really need to give sauces with ppls orders. And the location. I personally would probably never come back to this location and that's sad cuz I really did enjoy this food and would love to have it in the near future. If you ever change location I'll be there. Thank you for the amazing tasty food, you got something great going on. Be prosperous.

I have to say, I was referred here by Ponce and I was highly disappointed. I was happy to find…read moresomething close to home. Noodles were too thick, rice was crunchy, chicken was dry, shrimp and steak was over cooked. And everything was not seasoned very well. For what I paid I would rather go to a sit down and have a better meal.
