I started taking tennis lessons in January with iTennis and so far I've had a great experience…read more I signed up as an adult beginner since I've never had any tennis training other than just hitting the ball around with friends. I appreciated the scheduling options for both during the week and the weekends. Signing up was a little confusing through the website as the current session classes are offered alongside the upcoming classes. You have to double check which session you're signing up for. Once I was signed up, I received an email receipt but not a formal confirmation and no instructions as to what to bring or wear or what to expect. The tennis rackets are not provided so you do need to bring your own. The coaches are really skilled and know what they're doing so I suggest you trust their method. You will get better if you listen to them. They're really good at assessing where you're at and meeting you there. They will also make sure you're in the appropriate level of class so they will bump you up or keep you in the same level depending on your skill level. So far I've taken two sessions of Adult Beginner I and I'm excited to be moving up to Adult Beginner II. I really appreciate that they are flexible in terms of making up a class if you have to miss one or one is canceled due to weather. The parking lot can be chaotic at times but you'll always find a spot. The tennis area is gated so you have to check in but it also means that the rest of the park activities don't generally interfere with the tennis classes aside from the noise and occasional weed smoke (usually observed during the evening classes). If you've been curious to try out tennis I highly recommend group classes.

It always took elite, former ATP-level players from other states to challenge Larry for the numerous titles he won, and many of them left as the runner up. I had the privilege of spending some time on court with Larry and, in that brief period, learned how the very best in this game think. He shared what his Father taught him: "..don't miss, put every ball back over the net and between the lines...notice I didn't say 'hit it hard', with lots of pace?" Sounds simple doesn't it? I'm still working on that part Larry, but I pale in comparison! We miss you out here in Colorado! John Hetherington

My daughter is only 8 and it probably sounds silly but he transformed my daughter's playing to something amazing. She hits like a pro and her technique will wow you! Not many 8 year olds can do what she does but I can tell you that Larry Loeb is very intricate with his coaching and had a world of patience, he is great with kids. Larry teaches on a beautiful private coach in Riverside. He is very reliable, always on time and worth every minute. I highly recommend Larry as a coach for any age or level.

Nikki was our server and was entirely prompt and a joy to have at the table. Our wine glasses remained full and my mom commented so many times on the level of customer service. I'm convincing her now to become a member on their kindness alone. It was a lovely brunch and we ended up sitting at the pool where the girls filled our water pitchers and often check on us. Thank you for the memorable day!

I was really disappointed with my experience at this golf course. The day started off frustrating…read morewhen staff kept calling our group about supposedly hitting something, even after the confusion had already been cleared up. Instead of moving on professionally, it felt like they continued to hover over the situation and made us feel uncomfortable for the rest of the round. Customer service should make players feel welcomed, not singled out. The course conditions also weren't enjoyable. The greens were ridiculously fast to the point they were nearly impossible to putt on -- it honestly felt like they had just been stamped without considering playability. On top of that, staff members were constantly watching our group after someone complained we were "playing too slow," even though there were two senior groups ahead of us holding up the pace the entire day. It made the atmosphere stressful instead of relaxing, which is the opposite of what a round of golf should feel like. I wouldn't rush back after this experience. Later: Additionally, I received a voicemail from a staff member claiming to be a manager regarding alleged damages, despite the situation already being addressed before we left the course. Multiple staff members had already checked around our bags and continued monitoring our group throughout the round, particularly while we were on the greens. As someone who is still learning the game and does not consider myself an experienced golfer, the constant attention made me feel extremely uncomfortable and singled out. What concerned me most was that staff members looked into my cart and personal belongings without any communication or explanation while I was sitting inside. I understand the importance of protecting the course and handling concerns professionally, but the approach taken during this situation felt excessive and unnecessary. I want to make it clear that I had positive interactions with the front desk staff and the golf cart staff, who were both friendly and professional. However, the overall experience was overshadowed by how our group was treated. I do not feel the experience justified the $80 paid for the round. Between the unusually difficult greens, random rocks throughout the course, and feeling constantly watched, the day became more stressful than enjoyable. Unfortunately, it left me with the impression that younger golfers were being unfairly judged compared to other groups on the course.
