Very outdated. The decor is very 1990s. I had called prior for pricing on a mani pedi. ($30). Since it was close I decided to try them out. I'm a religious mani pedi person... but when I was asked if I had a nail file I was confused. It's always been provided. ‍. I was charged $2 more and received a little bag with a file & buffer. Which wasn't a huge deal .. since she gave it to me to take home. Then I was charged $5 extra for the polish I picked out. Now there was a row of Essie gel polish labeled "extra $5" I didn't choose them. Apparently 75% of the colors are an extra $5. Very misleading. But a norm for nail salons. Usually it's labeled better. Apparently this polish lasts longer. I guess we will see. Overall. Semi decent. Very friendly. But prob not worth coming back to. ( my nails were very short to begin with. She did her best on shaping them) Over all for a basic mani pedi I paid $42 and $6 tip. I left absolutely in pain. My nails are red, puffy, and irritated. They completely rushed me so that they could do my friends nails and by the time they were done she didn't want hers done. They completely cut my finger and didn't even stop to clean it up. Instead she sprayed sanitizer right in the wound. If I could get a refund I would. It cost me nearly 60 bucks for a super short set and every one of my fingers is red. Unsanitary during COVID and completely so uncaring towards a customer. The pictures of my nails ruined is when I went back in to show them my nails were becoming increasingly irritated and I needed at least some money back. I hate confrontation and this is not something I would do normally if this didn't hurt so much. They said I would get my money back if they took my nails off. They wrapped my cut up nails in acetone and I was half crying at the experience. They then threw the money back at me and I left. I have never been more in shock by a business opening after not being able to have customers for months. They treat you like absolute garbage read more

Horrific experience! I had dip nail on and wanted it taken off, to then get acrylic nails. I had to wait 30 minutes to get them soaked off and another 20 for them to start putting on the acrylics. I had to keep saying I wanted acrylic nails because they tried to put dip nail on. They finally put them on. When I heard the price I nearly went into cardiac arrest. They charged $80!! At any other nail place the highest would be $50. Would not recommend. Almost cried lowkey, did not slay!! read more

I asked them multiple times if i can do acrylic and they said yes and continued to do the power gel dip. As a treat I took myself and my two children to ten nail. It was late so we called first to make sure if they could still take us. They were friendly upon entering. I was to have a pedicure. My kids wanted a mani pedi. My youngest never had their nails done before it was suppose to be a fun experience. After being seated for our pedicures I told the ladies what we wanted. I started feeling uncomfortable when they kept on asking if we wanted extra this and that. I said yes to my youngest getting the so called ten minute foot message since my other daughter and I were getting one too. The woman giving my pedi seemed to take her time but kind of gave me the creeps when giving me my message. The other two ladies zipped right through their "messages" for my kids. Ridiculous considering the pedicures were $40 each. To boot, ( and I'm sure they were watching the clock because they were closing soon ) they gave my daughter a rushed manicure at the same time as her pedicure which was hardy relaxing when you're getting bent and twisted by two different people! Then right before she is about to get her toes painted ( I mean the polish was out and they were just about to apply) they tell us the color she chose was $5 more! What? I paid with a credit card which came to quite a bit of money, I didn't have cash so I wanted to put the tip on my card. ( I guess tipping on a card is frowned upon I admit I'm not sure what the etiquette is) because they were extremely unhappy and told me not to let it happen again. Ok wait, it gets better. My daughter sits at the dryer for five minutes tops, one of the ladies came over to look at her toes, my daughter asked " are they dry yet?" The woman said " no but you have to go home". Are you joking me!! When it was my turn to dry they didn't even let me sit. They said it was time to close and handed us our shoes! My nails were freshly painted! My daughter and I were shocked and a little confused. So we took our selves and waddled out of the salon with our paper sandals on into the dark. Got my eyebrows threaded and they ripped my skin off with tweezers for twenty five minutes. I was crying praying for it to end the entire time. Have been going to Ten Nail since it opened. They are super friendly and very qualified for waxing, pedicures and manicures. I particularly like the powder gel as it lasts for at least 3 weeks and when I have appointments in NYC my nails look terrific. read more

I can't even begin to explain the most horrific night I had at this nail salon. Never in my life of getting my nails done have I experienced such disgrace. First of all I don't even know how they have a license to run that place. The lady I had which was the owner acted like she has never done nails before. Myself or a 5 year old could have done a better job. Seriously at moments I felt like grabbing the polish away and doing it myself. I got an acrylic fill with gel polish. I asked her to cut and reshape them. I ended up with nails longer than others and round/ square/ and coffin shapes. All my nails were different. When it came time for paint all she had to do was paint my nails white. Well she applied the polish so thick didn't get the sides and put my nails under the UV for maybe 10 seconds not even. They were so tacky and heavy and bumpy. She kept rubbing it in with her finger to smooth it down. On top of that I asked for sparkle and I got one coat that didn't even reach the bottom or top of my nail. I was so confused what was going on but I hate confrontation so I let her continue. It wasn't until she said she was done that I couldn't believe my eyes. My nails were bumpy chipping and yellow!!!! I got white polish!!! Why did my nails have a brown and yellow residue. Then she says $61. I almost fell to the floor in tears. My nails were so bad that I wouldn't even pay a penny for them. I instantly told her about the yellow and to fix them she grabbed white paint and used her finger to dab it on over the yellow that was already there. And said okay all better. Um no not all better the shapes and sizes and chips are all still there. It was so unprofessional!!!!! She refused to fix them and told me I owed the money. Even though I was so unhappy and will be getting them done by someone new tomorrow. Long story short I have never seen something like this in my life. I'm so upset that a business like this even exists and I wasted 3 hours of my afternoon there after already working all day. They should be shut down. Period read more

Let me start this review out like this-- THE MOST TERRIBLE SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD. I am not a fussy person WHATSOEVER. This was actually so bad that I felt that I HAD to write my first ever Yelp. I work a hour and a half away from my home. I got home a litter after 6PM today. I have a wedding to go to tomorrow and literally have had zero time to get my nails done all week due to overtime being offered at my job. I went to Ten nails for the first time. When I walked in at 630PM the first words that came out of my mouth were --"Is it too late to get a manicure/pedicure?" (They close at 7pm) The woman said no and told me to pick out a color. I picked out a color VERY QUICKLY and sat down in the pedicure recliner. The woman literally started throwing my feet around being extremely rough and would not dare to even look at me. I think that was the quickest pedicure known to man. Then I went to a desk for my manicure-- she cut me two times where I was bleeding on her napkin underneath my hands. She took a good chunk out of my finger. Then when she was done painting she put something on my nails and said "this make dry faster you on dry for one minute one minute." Well at this point I already knew how much of an inconvenience I was to her and listened to her "1 minute 1 minute" advice and got up from the dryer within a couple of minutes. When I went to pick up my keys my thumb polish smudged. Well.... I probably shouldn't have gotten up that quick but this was the most uncomfortable situation I've been in in a very long time and I was just listening to the lady. Let me add-- I'm not the type of person to even say anything about bad customer service. But now I was pissed. When I went over to her to show her my nail she started yelling in her language and that's when I confronted her. I told her she's lucky I'm not a fussy person because this situation probably wouldn't of gone as well for her if I was!! She didn't acknowledge a word I said. Another woman helped me with my nail. I have worked in customer service ever since I started working. There have been PLENTY of times where customers have come in one minute before closing and I sure as heck NEVER EVER would act like she did. Especially when you work for tips. I will never return to this nail salon again and I highly suggest others consider this before giving them your business. There are far much better locations not even a mile away. read more
