Honestly a great company As long as you have all your paperwork done on time and correctly processed you'll have no issues also as long as your health insurance does their part as well! read more

Too hard to use website too long to get person on phone gave wrong hours approved no pay for months

FUNNY CANT LEAVE A 0 STAR RATING! I WOULD IF I COULD! Terrible, they are the only agency that the state has offering much needed PCA services to the Commonwealths most vulnerable. No bid contracts suck, and I implore some entity to step up to compete for this contract. Reviews in their new area, PA, also are plagued with dissatisfied PCA's. They delay, delay, delay wages based on simple and unnecessary paperwork issues. The CEO should resign. So sad that the most vulnerable are often left without care because PCA's do not want to go through hell just to get paid. I have worked for Tempus consumers for over 10 years. And everytime, I get a new consumer (they reach out to me because I am on the PCA directory and know that they are needy) I must start from scratch with paperwork. And EVERYTIME, they find something to delay my wages. I called the Federal DOL, State DOL and Attorney General to get my wages, all stated that it was illegal for Tempus to delay my wages in the manner that they were. I do not know whether it was calling the CEO directly, after hours their phones roll into a different system, and he picked up when I dialed his extension! OR if it was the pressure that my local legislature applied with an inquiry. But either way, I finally got paid after almost ONE YEAR trying. The CEO had the nerve to tell me, "You know, if the unpaid backwage is over one old, we don't have to pay you." One consumer told me she posts job openings on Craigslist and when the potential PCA calls and asks if it is through Tempus. When she says yes, they simply hang up. Anyway, once again, a consumer reached out to me and I am working with her, giving her high-quality personal care, and Tempus is not accepting my paperwork because the 0 on my I-9 is not perfectly round. REALLY! read more

Hello, We have been using the MassHealth PSA program, which recently transitioned from Coastline Elderly Service to Tempus Unlimited. Since that transition, the experience has been extremely frustrating and difficult to navigate. The payroll process has been especially challenging. Communication has been poor, and it has been difficult to get clear answers or timely support. Now that another part of the program is also being handled by Tempus, we are experiencing the same issues there as well -- calls are not returned, follow-up is lacking, and no one seems able to provide a clear resolution. At this point, I have a PSA who is actively working but is not being compensated for her work. We have completed everything required on our end, and despite repeated attempts to resolve this, the issue remains unresolved. I have called the 800 number provided and left a message, but I have not received a response. This has taken a significant amount of time away from my own work responsibilities, and it should not be this difficult to get basic support for a compensation issue. The lack of responsiveness from skills trainers, nurses, supervisors, and management has made this an extremely poor experience. I am requesting immediate assistance to resolve the PSA's compensation issue and to identify who can support us while our assigned skills trainer is out on leave until 9/28. I also strongly urge MassHealth to reconsider this transition. Based on our experience, the previous support through Coastline Elderly Service was far more responsive and effective. Thank you, read more

Stop playing with employees hours and pay checks...we work hard and we deserve to get paid exactly what the insurance agencies authorize us to get paid!!! Constant back and forth when they receive the same letters as we do! They make it extremely difficult to get paid what we are AUTHORIZED BY INSURANCES TO GET PAID BIWEEKLY!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

This company is a joke. Tempus Unlimited plays games with people's paychecks, constantly moving the goalposts and making up new requirements just to stall. One day it's "we need a different signature," the next it's "get a bank letter or a check" -- all while holding on to money I've already earned. Their staff are rude and unprofessional. They talk over you, dodge questions, refuse to transfer you, and even try power moves like telling me to "lower my tone" instead of fixing the issue. Another rep literally ended the chat mid-conversation after giving me nonsense answers. It feels like they put notes in my file just to make it harder for me on purpose. No one should have to fight this hard just to get paid. If you're thinking about working with them -- don't. They'll waste your time, stress you out, and make you beg for money you've already earned. read more

Who hires a agent that just hangs up the phone, lacks the knowledge of her job, and can't resolve or find another solution? Tempus that's who! Mirtle , mertle, Myrtle, how ever her name is spelled or pronounced very, very, unprofessional & unknowledgeable . The Tempus agency has to do better, the star ratings goes to show how horrible the employees are and the buisness is ran. read more

I am a PCA with this company and I have had contact support. I have tried it through the phone and on the live chat. My experience on the phone was that they were very condescending and rude. There is a little survey at the end of the call but I don't think it is used as feedback. The live chat is better at lease you cant hear the rudeness. read more

I have had tenpus for 3 years recently one of there skills trainers came to my house asking me to sell her my narcotic medication , I said no next day my house got broken into , reported the tempus worker trying for a hour to get me to sell my medication I didn't sell it but because I reported the skill trainer for drug seeking and telling me she putchases pills off clients , well the nurse came said I need more hours I'm permenatly disabled in a wheelchair , well tempus sent papework stating i didn't need a pca in retalition , I do in fact need a pca im in a wheelchaor have 6 sever spinal diseases and many autoimmune , wwell because i reported their worker she faced papework from tempus and had my health insurance pull funding for my pca .. . Well tempus won't eve. Return my calls or fix this illegal situation , I'm now being neglected and fear my life because I need a pca like daily to eat , bath ,change... i now havent been able to eat in 2 days because I have no help nor way to be abme to ,,,,, TEMPUS WILL ALTER PAPERWORK AND ABUSE AND NEGLECT DISABLED PEOPLE THEY ARE BLACKBALLING ME BECAUSE THEY HIRE DRUG SEEKERS WHO WANT TO STEAL FROM DISABLED PEOPLE! Last Sept/24' Sarah Gomez a then skills trainer for Tempus reported that my adult son was no longer using his wheelchair. he's never been in a wheelchair and he's 11 clinics and they can all verify that, she also reported that during the home visit she noticed he wasn't using his CPAP it was daytime and he was awake Since then they removed 64% of his hours I am sick. I've been sick for the last six years and I receive Tempus and because I'm fighting them for my sons hours to be returned they kicked me out of the program. I'm on oxygen and I'm very sick. They are an unorganized retaliatory emotional bunch of everything you should not be because you have to focus on the needs of the client and provide that according to their health condition and limitations, Tempus doesn't do that. It's all about what your race is, if they like you or not, they have so many different inter-office substandard rules that they use in the office that are actually illegal. If you're looking for a PCM AGENCY , please do not use Tempus go to Mass.gov and put in for a list of PCM agencies and though they may be far it's worth it I promise you do not trade places for what my son and I is going through. it's horrific I would trade all 22 years of IEP meetings his five surgeries to not have a relationship with Tempus for my Son . read more

I've worked through their company for 2 years. First...they were breaking the law saying that my signature didn't match so refusing to pay me. When I stated that my signature NEVER matches...asked what type of handwriting expert they have on staff and stated the law that it ILLEGAL to unlawfully keep my paycheck from me...they stopped. Now they're wanting GPS to everyone's phone during their work schedule. That's an invasion of privacy ...sorry but NOT going to happen. I will be sticking to paper and if they have a problem I WILL lawyer up. This "company " is a JOKE. Oh and let's NOT forget that you can NEVER get upper management to call you back read more

This company provides a variety of services to both children and adults with disabilities. Unfortunately, however, they are the sole contracted fiscal intermediary with the Executive Office of Health & Human Services - Office of Medicaid (MassHealth PCA FI Program); making them responsible for all payroll for PCA and or direct care workers working in this field. As a PCA, who has been employed a little over a month, words cannot express how exasperating it is when that anticipated biweekly paycheck has not been deposited into your bank account as scheduled. What is more frustrating is the fact that I (as well as others, I am sure) have had to fight with this company by bringing this issue to the attention of the union and or other necessary sources with the hope and intention of resolving this non-payment of wage(s) issue; even to the point of filing a grievance. Not only do I find this to be unprofessional and unethical, but I don't deem this withholding or delaying of one's paycheck to be legal either. Where this company has a mission to provide services and support to those with disabilities, I would think that they would want to pay the PCA's promptly, especially considering how short-staffed this field already is. With all due respect, with this poor and unstable payroll system the company seems to be operating on, they are bound to lose more PCA (direct care workers) than keep them. Not only is the situation unfair to the worker, but it is also unfair to the consumers who depend on the worker to supply them with a service. It is my hope that this review is viewed by all appropriate parties and that they strive to correct these issues now and improve their quality of service. read more

Rude costumer service like super rude, not helpful at all, if I could give this stupid place a 0/5 stars I definitely would, they don't have a translater to help you understand and when you call someone on your phone to help you translate something they get mad and annoyed at you and give you the biggest attitude ever. No wonder why this place have only have 1 star , If you trying to find a company to work with then this isn't one of them unless if you like rude customer service then yes. read more

They do NOT pay their workers what they are worth. I can barely survive because of Tempus being stingy, and forget overtime. I work overtime hours but don't get overtime pay, AND they're supposed to be paying me 5.25 more than I'm making now but despite me turning in the paperwork, they have yet to give me my raise. They're a crap company overall, don't work for them and don't trust them with your loved one. read more

Do not and I repeat DO NOT work for a company where their payroll is handled by this company. They can truly care less if you're behind on bills cause of them paying you late. Literally had the audacity to blame the app we use for faxing when it works just fine every week & now due to them I have another bill added to my monthly bills with EFax now just to make sure my time sheet gets through. We tried all week and they finally received it yesterday and I have yet to receive an email and doubt compensation due to their negligence. Three bills late cause they never paid me this week. We kept being lied to as we found out through other employees that they also were being paid really late. Do your self a favor & avoid the headache. The fact they're the one & only FI in Massachusetts is beyond me. Never had this issue with Stavros nor NorthEast Arc. Mass needs to reconsider allowing them to be the only FI in the state and let Stavros & NEA handle their employees. It is not the consumers fault that they're PCA gets paid late, possibly lose their mode of transportation cause they never got paid or have their utilities disconnected cause they never got paid. It is the equivalent of spitting in your employees faces & I'm beyond feeling disrespected by the bozos in charge of payroll here. Work in another field if this continues being the only FI in Mass. I'm going for my CDL soon cause it's not worth it working through this company. read more

Weeks ago I requested new hire paperwork. In that paperwork they sent me the old focus card information paperwork. I called and confirmed that all the paperwork was correct which it was not. And now two weeks later I have to submit new paperwork now they have to wait 7 to 10 more days to get paid. And the result of this means I lost an employee because I couldn't pay them on time due to the incompetence of the payroll department. read more

I worked for a gentlemen and didn't get paid till after I found him deceased in the home. They had all my paperwork said it was correct then they say it's not. After that I worked for my dying mother and because they didn't process the paperwork I got paid 5 hours a week for a while year, I worked for a woman after my mom passed and the same thing they never received anything, now I'm working for a gentlemen since May and I have yet to see a dime. Mind you rent is due in a few days bills are due in a few days and food, can't buy that without money. I live alone so I don't have someone else with income to get me by. I have faxed the same paperwork 5 times from 3 different places, you cannot possibly tell me that all 5 times there were lines through the writing. I call bull on that . I also call every day to hold forever for them to tell me I don't know what to tell you. Their families are being supported because they get their pay, they have nice hot meals of their choice, hot water, electricity, cable , cell phones shopping money, Vaca money and they sit and pencil push when all of us Pca's but our asses for minimal pay when and if we get paid. The employees at tempus don't have to worry that on the first of the month that the roof over their heads is up in the air because you can't get paid, who's gonna pay the rent, the electricity, hot water, food and necessities such as paper shampoo deodorant laundry soap etc. I'm beyond frustrated and they sit pretty on the other end of the phone with my money in their pockets and lunch in the fridge but me I can't afford to eat lunch because I'm not getting paid. I'm eating once a day to conserve because a paycheck? What is that? read more
