My home HVAC unit developed a serious problem, the coil went bad, the unit wouldn't hold refrigerant and thus I had no heat or cooling because mine is a combined unit and refrigerant in the system is needed for it to produce heat or cold air. The manufacturer wanted to replace only the coil under my warranty, but the part was on backorder, with a 2-3 month estimated wait time. Yossi, the owner of Temptechs, went to bat for me and as a result of his efforts, a complete new replacement unit was obtained. What Yossi did saved me and my family from months of discomfort. He is a true advocate for his customers. If you aren't using Temptechs as your go to heating and air conditioning source, you should be! read more

I have owned my home for about 13 years and have had every kind of contractor you can imagine in and out many times. By far, Yossi the owner, and his employees including Roberto at Temptechs have been the most reputable, reliable, and affordable option considering the excellent work that they do! I have called on them many times over the years and have always felt like my home was in extremely professional hands. Call ASAP and forget anyone else. You will be so so happy that you worked with this amazing family owned business!! I promise. :) read more

Some months back, after our fifteen or so year old top-of-the-line Carrier unit began to fail intermittently, a good friend, also a well-connected developer here in LA and the SFV recommended Yossi Dahan and Temptechs. Within the day, he was here for an hour, analyzing the system and issues, and promised to circle back with some options for us to consider - repair being one. I know a bit about HVAC and after many Q&As with Yossi and conversations here at home, we decided on replacing the tired unit with something more powerful, energy-efficient, high-SEER 0- this was for an upper unit, west-facing duplex at the mercy of summer heat. Not only did Yossi show up when he said he would, return calls immediately or soon after, and provide an extremely fair quote, but the back side of the planning, construction, and install was a seamless and reliable as his (and his extremely proactive manager, Michael); his very knowledgable, proactive, and CLEAn crew were as equally impressive. The integration of the new units, vents, properly sized and installed flexi ducts and registers, and wi-fi t'stat coupled with his follow-through before, during, and after the project was flawless and set a standard that other contractors (NOT just HVAC) should learn from. Yes, I imagine there are other qualified HVAC options out there (over the years, without complete remedy to problems, we've used FOUR!!) but for my money, peace of mind, and based on lengthy research and more than adequate first-hand and discussions and considerations based in HONESTY and KNOWLEDGE, Yossi Dahan and TEMPTECHS are the only pros that I will continue to use and recommend to family and friends. I hope that you consider them as well! read more

Yossi of Temptech installed a dream machine. Before, it was boiling in the summer and freezing in the winter. Yossi has turned my life around for the better with this amazing HVAC. Before, my kids said they hated me. Now, they're calling me daddy again, even though they're not sure. Before, my wife yelled at me daily. Now, she loves and adores me. Sex every week thanks to Yossi. What a difference! Now when my wife winks at me, I start by sucking her toes in a beautifully cooled, comfortable room temperature. Thank you Yossi for making me a romantic!!! read more

I own a property management company with over 300 properties. Temptechs always shows up for their appointment, I can rely on them for a fair price, and high quality work. They are my first call whenever we have a problem. I've been using them for years and apologize for not leaving this review earlier! Thank you team! Yossi and his crew installed four mini-splits in a small apartment building for me with zero headache. From A-Z, everything was professional and the quality of the work was amazing. They've also done smaller repairs for me, quickly and honestly identifying problems and fixing them on the spot. They're honest and do high-quality work -- can't recommend any contractor more. read more

My HVAC was so old and dangerous, my kids faces would turn red from the heat and they repeatedly threatened to call social services on me! Then I called Yosssi and his team at TempTech turned my life around for the better. They installed a top of the line smooth as butter variable speed system. Maybe rich kids enjoy that system at the Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton. Who gives kids variable speed? Maybe Shaq. Yossi and TempTech turned me into a giver. A great provider. I challenge my kids to report me now to any government department or agency. Thanks to Yossi, I bet I can slap them in a quiet room controlled temperature and get away with it! Thank you Yossi for making me untouchable!!!! read more

Highly recommend Temptechs! Yossi has a great team and runs an honest business! We had ongoing issues with our AC. Other companies kept pushing us to replace the entire unit and when I asked Yossi for a quote he highly advised against it. He reassured us that we didn't need to spend a bunch of money on a new unit and he was right! My husband and I are so grateful! We're new homeowners and it's been very expensive the first few months so not having to spend a bunch of cash on a new unit is huge! Our AC is working now! Just in time for summer! FIVE STARS! read more

I was referred to Yossi with TempTechs by Ami (HazTek Environmental / asbestos removal) to install new HVAC ductwork after old asbestos-covered ductwork was removed from the attic. After talking with several HVAC companies, I chose TempTech - in part due to Ami's high recommendation, but also because Yossi always responded to my calls, patiently addressed questions and concerns, and was pleasant to work with. HVAC wall vents were also replaced with adjustable grills at the same time. Thanks Yossi !! read more

Temptechs just installed my new central AC with Goodman condenser#140371. I HATE the loud humming noise which sounds like a dentist's drill. Temptechs's owner Yossi says it's normal, other condensers are even louder! I never thought to inquire about the noise rating of this Goodman condenser, because I have never heard any such loud central AC make such annoying humming in any home similar to ours in our neighborhood. Checking this condenser's specifications on Goodman's website I do not see the noise rating which would have cautioned me to compare it with other condenser brands. I was trusting Yossi /TEMPTECHS to install his condenser recommendation & he likes Goodman. I should have listened to another dealer who said that Goodman is on the lower quality end. Instead of spending almost $8000 for this headache humming noise, I could have installed a couple of best rated quiet window units for this small house for 1/4 of the cost. If the dealer can do something to muffle this awful humming, I will adjust my rating. Yossi is a nice fellow, but while he talked about his installation, he never mentioned this condenser's noise rating, and this awful humming noise. He now explains (after the installation!) that AC noise is the loudest compared to the house fan or heater. This should have been discussed at the top of the list when Yossi came out to check my house for his AC proposal This loud humming was beginning to give me a headache today. I doubt I will turn this Goodman AC much unless it's hot. read more

I can't even begin to count all the times Temp Techs has come to the rescue for me! These guys are hard working, honest and they know their HVAC! A call to Yossi and Michael are all that you'll need, they are my first call and my only call! The turn around time is always super fast, quotes come in almost instantly, prices are great and the work is top notch. You will not be disappointed when you entrust your business to TempTechs! read more

Our air conditioner hasn't been functioning great for a while, I shopped around and was told that I needed to replace the entire unit which was gonna cost me a lot, so I let it go, a friend of mine recommended temp techs and yossi came over and after inspecting the unit advised me that it's only a minor problem He saved me lots of money, he's honest and professional I'm ready for you summer!!! read more

I had the AC break and invited Temptech, they arrived on time, were professionals and very nice. They fixed it promptly and charged fairly. I would definitely call them again if I need. I have a vacation property here and not being from the area I had no idea who to call. Used the yelp reviews and was happy I did so! read more

It's HOT!!!!! Yes, hot in Riverside that is. Where houses are cheaper (then L.A.), where the food is more affordable (then L.A.) and where people are nicer (then L.A.). B U T it is hot as hell and I am not ready to be in Hell (not just yet) so this is where Temptechs came into play. My house was 103 degrees INSIDE. If you can't figure out how hot that is, lets just say that all the food in my fridge was warm, the frozen stuff in the freezer was thaw and all my beer was warm. I DON"T drink warm beer!!! So Temptechs came to the rescue and converted my personal hell into a cool haven. Within a couple of days I had a brand new A/C unit with all new duct work. Now my place is set to 78 degrees (energy saving mode), I'm am chilling and my beer is cold again!!! Thanks Temptechs - you are the best :-) CHEERS! Oh BTW- even Riverside as a city seems more pleasant to be in during the summer - haha read more

I would use these guys again and recommend them to anyone I know!! Yossi is very knowledgable and very fair on pricing. I had two mini splits that I had installed myself. I called around to a few other AC companies with my situation and they refused to even give me a quote to perform the startup on the units because they didn't sell me the equipment! Huh? Anyway these guys are knowledgeable, fair, prompt and professional. Refreshing to find after such a horrible experience with their "competitors"! read more

At this point I have done several projects with Temptechs and the work is always exemplary! Yossi and his team are easy to work with and always on top of the latest technology for your HVAC needs. As we manage many apartments and homes, we have a lot of needs and this is one great company...and they are always competitively priced which is vital in this changing economy. read more

A few months ago my parents' air conditioner stopped working. They called some company and the tech that showed up charged several hundred dollars and did not resolve the problem. My parents were upset but the winter started so they let it go. A couple of months later, it was a super hot week and we were looking for someone to come asap. I called Temptechs and they were able to come by that day! The technician was friendly, professional, kind and honest. He said it was a quick fix, charged an appropriate amount and only left their house after he confirmed that the air was working appropriately. Last night, my air conditioner stopped working as well! It was a no brained, I immediately contacted temptechs! The call center was great, the man I spoke with said the technician will arrive later today. As promised, he arrived on time and quickly resolved the problem. The technician was great! So this makes two for two! I highly recommend Tempthechs! They are trustworthy, professional and have great customer service! read more

My AC went out on one of the hottest days in June. I called other AC repair places in the valley, and most of them were not available until 1-2 weeks. (Frustrating) So glad I didn't go with anyone else though, because then I found Temp Techs on Yelp. I called Yossi, he came out with his guys, went up to check it, and fixed the problem within the hour. Super friendly guy, he knew exactly what he was doing and what the problem was. The AC was working and cooling better than it was previously. He accepts debit/credit cards, so that was a huge plus! Can't thank him enough, he probably saved me thousands of dollars. read more

Definitely the AC company you want to use. Reliable, on time and extremely professional. I'm happy with my new 5 ton system. Thanks again.

Yesterday it was 106 and of course my AC decided to act up but it was still working on and off. Then last night late evening it stopped working all together. First thing this morning I called another AC repair service - they said they would call back in 20 minutes to schedule something. 3 hours later and no call back, I decided to call TempTechs. They took my information and within 10 minutes, Joe called and scheduled something within the hour (the same day!). Joe was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly and took the time to show and explain to me what the problem was. He fixed the problem and charged a very reasonable price. If I could give TempTechs 6 stars I would! No kidding, my interaction with them was the epitome of excellent customer service. read more

Yossi from temp techs came on really hot day !!! I called him around 2pm and he was here in no time . He was professional and helpful he took the time and explained what the problem was my unite stop working and I had to replace it .he gave me a fair price and didn't charge extra for the emergency call!! (Like the other companies I called ) any how he was honest and I was very satisfied . I highly recommend this company !! read more

On a referral they came out and reconfigured my condenser unit. Charged $1200 for a simple job. Months later we noticed a water leak that ended up coming from something they had to have broke while up there. When I called he denied everything and then quoted $450 to simply replace the $50 part they broke. Then upon further investigation the unit was sucking in air from their incompetent work. Now we have water damage and I easily fixed what they way over quoted what they should've fixed for free. On top of that we had no heat for a week and it's been cold. With my wife having recent major back surgery, a cold house is not a good situation. Never an apology or any concern whatsoever, Just arguing. We honestly are flabbergasted by their lack of remorse or care in the matter. In regards to the business owners reply. Most is true and it's a he said she said situation. The part that got broken didn't leak prior to the update work and couldn't just spontaneously break. It's thick plastic and took some force to break. They're denying touching and or breaking said part that was in fact directly involved with the update. And since Temp Tech were the last ones to touch anything then it's easy to asses. And again, no apology, just denial. 24-Hour Emergency Service they say? When the unexpected occurs, Temptechs will be the quickest to resolve your problem: 24-Hour Emergency Service Typical response time is a quick 2-4 hours We're available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year I called on Friday and the tech arrived on Monday. All he did was look at it and didn't even try to fix it. I also told them over the phone what it would take to fix it yet they gave me (days later) the overly inflated estimate instead. I had to order the part(more delay) and install it. Just another example of modern day business practices. The customer is no longer right once the work is done. Very infuriating especially since it was very easy to fix, as I did. read more

Thanks Yossi! He took care of the job and put my mind at peace! Now I know who to call and Im not worried!

Quick and honest!!! will definitely use again. Shopped around and they were priced the best for the service they offered. Came immediately, fixed my air conditioner, and SAVED me. read more

I was referred to Temptechs by my realtor. They came out the same week I called to assess the problem and gave me options on what I could do. I elected to replace my entire air conditioner and they did it the following week. My neighbor had some issues with his air conditioner and called 4 places that never returned his call. I referred him to Temptechs and they again made time to see him the same week and resolved his issue. This was all in the middle of the summer. Yossi was very professional and just got the job done quickly and painlessly. We will always use them from now on. read more

Yossi was great. He listened to my issue over the phone (was a poorly installed mini split system), came over within 90 minutes, could see the problem right away and fixed it promptly. He was very knowledgeable about my type of unit and took time to explain to me the issues. While the repair wasn't cheap, I think it was a fair price based on the amount of work he had to do... and honestly, I was just happy to have someone fix the issues that the previous HVAC person had created. Unit now runs perfectly. Highly recommend. read more

Yossi actually came on the day my air conditioning quit. And after calling several others who said it may be a censor, I may have to replace the whole system, etc. I was a bit nervous. But Yossi said it was a minor repair and only charged me the service fee! I was so relieved! I would recommend him to anyone needing reliable and honest air conditioning repair! read more

Our air conditioner broke and our homeowner's insurance said they wouldn't be able to come out for a week - this is in the midst of this triple digit heat wave! I searched around on Yelp and called Temptechs. Not only did he come out the same day (on a Friday evening) but he very quickly found out what was wrong and was able to fix it in no time. He is very honest and explained what he was doing as he was doing it and his rate is the best I've found. I highly recommend Temptechs and I only wish I had found him years ago! read more
