After having to wait another day until a tech was sent to my home, I thought the AC issue was repaired and I'd be resting at night with cool air. No so, within hours there was HOT air coming from the vents. My son was guessing the tech could have crossed some wires in the wrong way. So my husband called the company back and again we wouldn't see anyone until the next day. So I had another day and overnight in the high 80s, near 90 degrees. The new tech said, according to him, the previous guy did make an error with the thermostat. By the time this new guy left, he had cool air coming from the vents. I paid him the $195 service fee. Wellll, not so fast! The cool air only lasted about an hour before the heat was back. I turned off the system and began to seek another company. I came to Yelp and discovered a company I used last year, which I had forgotten the name, and noticed my review. Yahoo! I am thankful because that AC company, who is a small business who has been in business for over 50 years, came to my rescue with a short time on the day I called. I didn't have to wait another day or go through another night trying to sleep in high 80s-90 degrees. The business techs even arrive earlier than the promised timeframe. Within 45 minutes the problem was located and fixed. It did happen to be at the thermostat. Tech pulled out his smartphone to locate the online manual and within a few short minutes the AC was back to providing cool air once again. Their service call and repair only cost me $79!!! AND it kept creating cool air all night long. The set temp was reached before midnight. I slept well and I'm very happy with my new forever AC (see my review) company. Bad news here is Anchor is sinking their ship of poor customer service and high charge! So I'm getting off the titanic and into the rescue boat and riding off with MY new AC partnership for all my AC needs!

I was understanding about the situation and agreed to reschedule for the following week after being promised I would be the first appointment of the day to make up for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, the rescheduled appointment was just as frustrating. With only 15 minutes left in my 8 AM-1 PM appointment window, I still had not heard from anyone and had to contact the company myself. Instead of accountability, I was given excuse after excuse about why the technician did not arrive first as promised. I was even told their internet was down, which was supposedly why nobody contacted me. The lack of communication and reliability from this company is unacceptable. Customers should not have to chase down a business for updates on scheduled services. The only positive part of my experience was the technician himself--he was professional and did a great job. If he freelanced, I would absolutely hire him directly in the future. Unfortunately, because of the poor customer service and repeated scheduling issues, I will not be using 3HAC again.

Ultimately we went with another firm because our General Contractor had worked with another firm and since many things are going on simultaneously, the right course of action in our case was to let our GC control all work being performed. That being said Flo Rite is a great company.
