I had a very disappointing experience with 3HAC. I originally scheduled an AC maintenance appointment, but on the day of service, after waiting 4.5 hours with no communication at all, I finally received a call saying the technician would not arrive until another 2.5 hours after my scheduled time window. I was understanding about the situation and agreed to reschedule for the following week after being promised I would be the first appointment of the day to make up for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, the rescheduled appointment was just as frustrating. With only 15 minutes left in my 8 AM-1 PM appointment window, I still had not heard from anyone and had to contact the company myself. Instead of accountability, I was given excuse after excuse about why the technician did not arrive first as promised. I was even told their internet was down, which was supposedly why nobody contacted me. The lack of communication and reliability from this company is unacceptable. Customers should not have to chase down a business for updates on scheduled services. The only positive part of my experience was the technician himself--he was professional and did a great job. If he freelanced, I would absolutely hire him directly in the future. Unfortunately, because of the poor customer service and repeated scheduling issues, I will not be using 3HAC again. read more

I worked there for a time, and the comments from prior employees should be tempered with..... as with ANY good business owner, Brian has a zero tolerance policy for anything but the BEST customer service, and construction is not for the thin skinned. Our AC went out this week and with this heat it was not good. We called and got an immediate answer. An appointment was set and the nicest young man came to our rescue. Noah found the issue promptly, very knowledgeable, and had us up and running in 30 minutes. We had used them prior for a broken capacitor and they stand behind their work. A tech came out to my place and analyzed my AC problem of a small coolant leak. The tech did explain I could either fix the leak or buy an entire unit. The tech tried to talk me into buying an entire new unit which is odd because it only had a small leak. I was supposed to be emailed estimates for either scenario. When I didn't receive any emails I contacted the company via email requesting estimates and over a week later still haven't received any response. Due to both of the above I will not be using or recommending this company. read more

Purchased a new unit for a rental home from 3H a few years ago and the techs went above and beyond the scope of work I was quoted, they repaired some loose, and damaged duct work so the new unit would work efficiently. I have 3H do an annual routine inspection on my unit at home and they're always clean, courteous, and respectful of my home, and the pricing is comparable to the other companies in the area. My Mother-in-Law purchased a new air conditioner from a different company (to remain nameless) and got completely taken advantage of. Not only did they totally rip her off, but the system was installed terribly and after a year it basically no longer ran. My husband was furious when he found out how poorly she was treated so instead of going back, we contacted 3H Contracting based on a recommendation from a friend. So incredibly happy we did! The owner (Brian) was incredibly helpful and took the time to understand what happened. He knew of the other company and sadly, knew of their deplorable business practices. Maybe it was just incredible service or that he felt bad for my MIL but they were able to get out there and fix it within a couple days. Even more fantastic, because the unit was new he was able to have the part replaced under warranty so it saved her some money too. She now has a working A/C and couldn't be happier. On another note, I was incredibly impressed with Brian's knowledge and was amazed that he could troubleshoot over the phone without actually seeing the unit. So many vendors force an appointment without asking questions first and then force you into either paying for a service call or some ridiculous repair. It was refreshing to see a professional who actually knows his craft. If I lived in Tampa I would absolutely recommend 3H to anyone and truly appreciate the respect they gave to my MIL. read more

My experience with 3h had its high and lows but our technician Daniel did such an excellent job I had to write a review. After having two technicians come out they finally sent Daniel out to replace our a/c unit. He was professional, polite, and speedy. He did a two man job by himself and in the rain! He didn't complain about the weather or try to get out of finishing the job today. He worked diligently to ensure we finally had air after a week of no a/c. I can't say enough good things about him. He deserves a raise if anything! Please ask for Daniel as your technician! read more

On a Tuesday night, I did a routine vacuum of the condensation from my ac drain pipe. Afterwards, the a/c circuit breaker would not switch on. So I called 3HAC and they came the next day. The tech decided the breaker was loose and changed it. The a/c wiring is rated for 30amp, but the tech only had the 40amp breaker on hand, so that is what he installed. He said the company will buy the 30amp breaker and return another day to switch it to the correct one. He billed me $200. It was $75 for the service and $125 for the breaker. Further, they wanted to charge me $75 for the second install. I looked up arc fault circuit breakers online and it appeared to be $30-$50 on average. So I called 3HAC about the billing. Danny, the manager explained that the breaker cost was high because they don't skimp on their parts. Later, I talked with a friend about the situation and he told me that they should not have put in a 40amp breaker because the a/c's electric wiring is rated for 30amp. Worst case scenario would be electric fire. So on Friday I called back 3HAC. Danny had the owner, Bryan, explain that the a/c normally runs on 12amp, so it should not get anywhere close to shorting. They did not feel it was an emergency, so they scheduled to come in the next Monday. As for the $75 fee to reinstall the correct breaker, they took off $25. During these phone calls, Danny seemed annoyed and defensive saying "Well at least now you have a/c. We could have just not installed the breaker that day." and "I wish we didn't install the breaker because it has become such a nuisance." It has been a month and the a/c works fine. Thankfully there were no electrical fires. The pricing seemed a little high but whatever. The manager did not show empathy or good customer service. read more

I had a new AC installed after looking for a reliable contractor for quite a few months. 3H came highly recommended by my parents who had a new AC installed 5 years ago, so they were recommended for a well-done, professional job and also their integrity while serving the customer post-installation. Sonny and Alex were professional and went above and beyond the call. I hadn't realized it was necessary to move a rain barrel (along with its multiple stacked pavers on uneven ground). i needed my new compressor installed into my condensing unit, so i pulled over in my car onto the owners property and knocked on his door. brian the owner had 3h-ac signs facing the street. he told me that he wanted $650, and i had been getting offers around $400. when i told him this, he cursed at me and then told me to get off his property. the problem with greedy bastards is that they live beyond their means, always having another house or car payment to make at the expense of the poor and needy. i did not need a damn thing from the crook and left the way i came. and you should too. read more

The installers were very fast, clean and professional. And, even though I had to reschedule a few times, the person I spoke with on the phone, I believe it was Amy, was very cheerful, pleasant and understanding about working with my schedule. We recently purchased a home, the unit was installed a year ago by 3H. The unit stopped working and we had them come out and take a look at it. My very first interaction with the owner was terrible, he was rushing me off the phone and was not understanding of the issue or the circumstances. He spoke over me several times and snickered at my questions. After the technician (Joe, who was wonderful) came out to look at the unit he said he would go back and speak with the owner to see if there is anything that they could do for us. Because the workmanship was awful, the unit is crooked and coming apart at the seems. (After 1 year and air conditioner shouldn't look that way) we never received a phone call back when we were promised. I called the company and spoke with the owner who started off the conversation screaming, cussing and threatening us because he claims that my husband called and threatened him (he did, but it was with a law suit not physical)(which we have the right to do) I explained to him that I do not use profanity and he did not apologize. He then said "do you want us to come out and fix it or not, answer yes or no" I didn't even have a chance to explain what my concerns were or to ask any more questions to understand why we were being charged $800 to rebuild the unit. He put the technician Joe on the phone, who again was polite, calm and very informative about the situation. The owner grabbed the phone from Joe and was screaming again that he was busy and that he didn't have time for this. He also suggest that we use another company. I asked him if he would reduce the price under the circumstances of the original install and he said "sure I'll take off $50. If you want anything from me you need to ask me nicely." I explained to him that I was speaking calmly the entire time and that I did not appreciate his abrasive tone that he has had with me from the beginning. He said he doesn't want to talk about his tone. The conversation had many instances were he was behaving like a child and would not let me speak and was riddled with his ego. I have never had such a terrible experience like this and I am appalled that he can get away with this and treat customers this way. The reason he has an a+ in BBB is because no one has filled a complaint. Well he won't have an A+ for long, I am filling a complaint today. read more

We used this company in 2016 to repair a leak in our central unit. Just after a year, less than a month after the warranty expire, it was leaking again and stopped working. We have them repaired again, the repair guy says it's still under warranty and didn't charge us anything, but then the office called and wants to charge us. On top of that, they also suggested replacement of coil, which end up more than one thousand dollars in total with a very small discount they gave us. Now few months later, something went wrong again. I don't know where are those excellent reviews from, not a good company with our experience with them. read more

My air conditioner went out over a week ago. When I noticed my a/c wasn't working, and it was tripping the inside breaker. I reached out to 3H contracting the owner - Brian sent Tristan out the very next day. Tristan was very kind and professional he did everything he could to get my a/c up & running. Needless to say the compressor was tapped. 3H contracting has financing available through other companies on their website. Fast & Easy with a quick response. Christian & Sonny were the techs that installed my new a/c unit. This company is amazing! Pricing reasonable. Definitely will use them in the future for all my a/c & heating needs. read more
