Ethan did my cut, and he was super nice about talking it through with me before getting going, and spent time getting it exactly right, and even helping me out with styling pointers. I was happy with the cuts (if not the vibe) at my prior place, but now that I've had a chance to wash it, style it myself, and wear it for the day, it's definitely a cut above (pardon the pun) what I was getting at my prior place. Can't recommend him highly enough. Just an A+ across the board for making a new customer feel welcome, having a great environment, and giving a great haircut. Oh yeah, and it was $5 less for the cut than I was paying at my last place to boot.

They do, and asked when I thought I might be in. I told them and the man who answered said I shouldn't have a problem getting in for a haircut at that time. I did have to wait about 30 minutes when I arrived; definitely not "no problem getting in". I had the time to spare, but had to keep feeding the meter my car was parked at out on Broadway. One stylist left for the day while I was waiting and didn't clean up their workstation, instead just saying to their coworkers, "Sorry I'm leaving a mess." Hmmmm . . . My haircut was fine. I didn't need anything drastic, and the stylist did a good job. I was a little put off that no prices were posted, and that when I went to pay, my stylist said they would give me $5 off their regular price for a woman's haircut. BTW, this directly contradicts another Yelper's report that they charge you on length of hair, instead of whether you're male or female. It irked me that they acted like they were doing me some huge favor by saving me $5, when I would really have preferred consistent pricing posted so I could determine whether I was really getting a bargain. So, haircut was fine, but this place definitely has some professionalism issues. I might return but will probably try and find a place that I like better instead.

I personally have very long, fairly thick hair, and Meagan created the most ornate up-do which remained intact through some very interesting weather, and a long night of dancing.
