As a Believer & being able to be blessed & walk where Jesus walked in Israel (twice in the late 70's early 80's) I still did not learn as much about Yeshua until I came to Roeh Israel. I was so happy my messianic Jewish friend invited me to come. I've been gone back to NY to care for an ailing Adopted Father, but came back to CO 2 months ago when my friend told me he had cancer. We were blessed to be at Shabbat Jan 24 & have communion. My friend Wayne Yaffee loves Pastor Bert Yellin, & Pastor Bert visited Wayne 2 weeks ago in the awful snowstorm, but that shows the dedication of Our servant reaching out even when times are difficult. I Praise & am sooo thankful for that visit as Wayne was soooo happy to see Pastor Bert. As of yesterday our wonderful servant of Yeshua met Yeshua face to face at 12:04pm Feb14,2020..I look forward to seeing him again when I get to heaven. Thankyou Roeh Israel for your love, compassion & many prayers for my friend Wayne. Have a wonderful blessed Sabbath & I'll look forward to visiting again. Respectfully & In Pur Lords name, Dorothea Jarrett-Gilmore

We have been absolutely overwhelmed with how genuinely friendly everyone is. It's like walking in the door and meeting the family you never knew you had. In five weeks, I've heard every pastor on staff teach and it just amazes me to hear the Word, not just a bunch of fluff. You see the gifts in action, but not in a creepy or weird way. The way it's supposed to be. There is a full mix of ages and demographics. I love seeing a healthy balance of the young and old. The wiser ones reassure that nothing flaky is going on and the youth show that it's on the move. We introduced ourselves to the pastor once and the next week, he prayed for us and our children each by name. The kids situation is great too. They have Royal Rangers and Missionettes, camps, and classes. The worship music is great and I love hearing some of the old songs that are not just fluff but really help you remember who you are worshipping. Pastor Loren gives such a great example for the church and I can tell he knows how to lead by example. It's the real deal.

I really liked him a lot. He retired and two senior ministers shared the duties. I went a few times after Dr. Roger left. It's always different when the head minister changes. I've had mostly wonderful experiences there. I took classes, too. This is not the church for evangelical Christians. If you're looking for guilt, fire and brimstone, this is not the church for you. This is about Law of Attraction and welcomes all. You won't hear any specific politics from the pulpit. It's based in love and peace, and honors the earth. Because it's universal, there won't be a lot of Jesus talk except as he was a great teacher who taught love. The few not so great experiences I've had there were based on who was teaching. Just quit and wait for a different teacher. I live an hour away now. Today, we drove down for a labyrinth walk for peace, aligning with groups and churches around the world. It was wonderful. I appreciated that they offer grief resources, and I do think the intention behind the program is good. However, by the third session I realized it wasn't the right fit for me. The group was very heavily faith-based and strongly Christian-centered, which may work well for some people, but I didn't feel there was much space for those of different beliefs who are simply seeking grief support. I also felt the facilitation could have been stronger. One participant dominated most of the discussion each session, which made it hard for others to share or feel heard. The group size was also quite large for a single facilitator, which contributed to that issue. Unfortunately, instead of feeling supported, I often left feeling worse, so I decided to stop attending. I'm grateful they provide resources, but I would recommend this group primarily for people specifically looking for Christian-based grief support rather than general grief counseling.
