I was searching for a place that would fit all of our needs, a full bar, beer on tap, and food! Walking in to this place you see immediately that it's a high end dive bar lol. There are old bicycles on the ceiling, stickers all over the walls, pool table, and a nice long bar with a lot of seating. I ordered a hazy IPA that was on tap from Berkeley. My partner ordered a double gin with tonic extra lime. We ordered a couple of appetizers that were actually pretty good. We ordered the deep fried pickles, those came out thinly sliced and perfectly light battered. The deep fried sweet potato steak fries were really good so well. All around its fun bar with great service, you never had an empty glass.

Tempest is a great divey bar with good food and pool, the people that go there are regulars and locals. The bar tenders are pretty attentive and a little edgy, but that's kind of the vibe at the bar. We mainly come for the food , the burgers are excellent. Fun for game days also, just gotta get there early for a good seat. My only complaints are that the bathrooms are kinda gross but I mean it is what it is.

Great bar with friendly bar staff and good music. The vibe was very chill and laid back. They also serve food up until midnight, which is a plus. There is a separate window outside to place your orders.

We stumbled upon here on a whim and thought it was a really cool vibe. Usually for dive bars you expect the food to be pretty basic, but I was really Impressed with the corn ribs! They were so tasty and had the perfect amount of kick to them. It was relatively quiet when we went in, but the staff were all kind and down to earth. A really cool spot I'd like to visit again when there's more of a crowd.

Came here on a whim. I'm glad I did. I love Dive bars. Cheap and tasty drinks and a decent menu where the kitchen is open until 12am. Plenty of seating an no cover charge. They have a pool table and tvs (For sports viewing). Not quite rowdy crowd and the bartenders are pleasant. All are welcome!

After seeing my last review for Tempest was over ten years ago, I can proudly say I've been visiting this divey spot for over a decade. I'm often staying in a hotel nearby and often make a stop or two to this bar while in town. On my most recent visit, I was right around the corner and Tempest became my home base before calling it a night. I love that this bar has the same vibes it has over the years and that it seems committed to never change. Great people, cheap drinks, and perfect playlists, what more could you want?

Love this dive! Great ambience, high ceilings and pool table. I've gone a handful of times for a few drinks after work. Great deals on drinks too and bartenders are attentive so you're not waiting around forever. They also serve food! Unique items like Mac and cheese eggrolls and fried pickles (very yummy!) It does get pretty busy though on weekend nights.

This is my new go-to spot if we are seeing a show at The Warfield. The vibes were great, the staff were friendly, and the food was yummy! I loved the way this place was decorated it was a great vibe.

Great dive bar located not far from Union Square in downtown SF. Despite having a dive bar feel, it has a great craft beer selection, and several food items as well. I got the mac and cheese egg rolls, quite tasty and filling. I'm from out of town so got to try several beers I hadn't before, as I waited for all my group to get into town. They have a pool table, and with the door open you get a nice breeze. All the bartenders were cool. If you're staying in the area, I'd def recommend checking it out.

We're not in this part of SF often, and neither of us are sports fans by any means, so a mega sports bar might seem like an odd choice, but from the reviews and pics, the spot looked fun. So on our most recent weekend trip to SF to celebrate RB's birthday, we made it a point to visit. This place is HUGE. Located in Chase Center, Splash is a two-story sports bar with TV screens everywhere. I imagine it gets packed out on game days. If you're into sports, this is definitely your happy place. I tried the Splash cocktail, which was very tasty, potent, and not overly sweet. They have a very respectable selection of various beers as well. Food-wise we opted for a couple of their sushi rolls - yes, they have sushi! We tried the Splash Roll and the Chase Heat Roll, both tasty. The food menu is pretty extensive, especially for a sports bar, and includes pizzas, sandwiches, appetizers, sushi rolls, tacos, burgers, and salads. Something for everyone. Service was good, the gentlemen working the bar were nice. The space is clean and well-maintained, and reminds me of bars in Vegas. Fun spot, would return. Cheers!

What originally started as a disappointment became a huge blessing once we found the board room. Feet aching, sweaty, and tired we made our way to this bar. Immediately you could tell it's a local favorite, the ambiance was nice and a great spot to people-watch. There was a cup flipping event which was super fun to spectate, along side the rotating pictures of the bar's beloved pooches . We ordered 2 western burgers, 12 count bone-in wings (half bbq, half Hawaiian), and an appetizer of corn dogs, tater tots, bacon Mac & cheese bites, and mozzarella sticks. Later we also added boneless buffalo wings which were so tangy, well-seasoned, and HOT. The western bacon burgers were so delicious, crispy bacon, crispy onion rings, and some bomb.com bbq sauce. The wings were drowned in sauce (just how we like them) , the bbq was to die for and the Hawaiian had the perfect little kick of spice for our picky eaters. The appetizer platter was also fried to perfection, with the perfect crunch on the tater tots & corn dogs. The Mac & cheese bites & mozzarella sticks were perfectly cheesed, with an amazing cheese pull on the mozzarella sticks. Along with the food, my boyfriend and I ordered some drinks. I got a margarita and he got a Guinness. Both drinks were good, very standard and well served. The couple behind the bar were very funny and super kind to us being dazed after all the walking. On our way back down to SoCal my brother is still raving about the burgers, this is a MUST-STOP the next time we come up to San Francisco!!

From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the sleek, moody ambiance dim lighting, plush seating, and a vibe that says "stay awhile." It's the kind of place where every detail feels intentional, from the curated cocktail list to the smooth jazz humming in the background. But what truly made the night stand out was Adam. He was an absolutely attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. Whether it was recommending the perfect bourbon or just checking in with genuine care, Adam made us feel like VIPs without ever being over the top. You can tell he takes pride in creating a memorable experience. The drinks were expertly crafted (the smoked old fashioned was a standout and don't forget the espresso martini), and the small plates were just as impressive elevated comfort food with a creative twist. And if you're lucky enough to be served by Adam, you're in for a five-star experience.
