While his personality might be a bit brash for the commentating styles on the Golf Channel, but the truth is what distinguish the Slicefixer from any others in Golf instruction. And he will back it up, in visual evidence and on the range. Slicefixer golf facility is a utilitarian driven teaching bay where the golf instruction ticks more reliable than an atomic watch. Rain or shine this place echoes with the thumps of ball striking. While some of his training methods are thrown together more like Larry the Cable Guy than the surgical refinement of a Mercedes Benz, they are highly functional, and they have 1 singular focused goal in mind. You will learn what the correct golf swing looks and feels, if you put in the effort. Slicefixer's instructions starts with a step by step of checklist forged through years of teaching and revelations from visual stimulation. The service and food were quite good. Servers kept the plates cleared and waters filled. Coffee quality was also very good. Dinner was served buffet style - salads, sides, prime rib, fried shrimp, and pork tenderloin. House made desserts were hummingbird cake, coconut meringue cake, and turtle cheesecake.

I'm a pass holder/member which allows me to play this course whenever I want. This is the 2nd…read morenicest course in the Bossier City/Shreveport area. Southern Trace is probably better but I wouldn't actually know since that course is PRIVATE and I've never been extended an invite to tee it up there. But for a Daily Rate of Play this is hands down the best course in the area. $65 green/cart fee is what you can look to pay if you roll up and want to peg a tee in the ground. This is the cost no matter the day of the week or the time of day. There is NO Twilight savings etc... The greens are fast and the course is well maintained. My only complaint is some of the fairways are mowed too tight which can lead to mis-hits which can be extremely aggravating!! However, overall I highly recommend this course if you're in the area and looking to get in 18...
