The Villa played host to my son and daughter in law's wedding reception last month and Sam and the staff were simply amazing. All of our guests had the best time, despite the ice storm being hours away from hitting. We never felt rushed and were given the space and time to make such wonderful memories. We paid $1500 drinks , they ask us which 3drinks and 3 beers we preferred For $6. Then day of party it wasn't show the Offer it only showed $10 and up drinks. Wasn't transparent and they keep asking to add more money to tab. Security was bar all time, then after told us was our issue people brought own alcohol and told us we need end our party early. They didn't have electric connection for band only offer 2 connection 20 amp max. Told us is our problem, they expect for us get place decorated in same one hour rehearsal. They said day event only get access 2 hours before event. Otherwise pay $250 hour. We end up paying $3500 alcohol and they keep our deposit too. Refrigerator is full with bar stuff no space even for cake. Yard wasnt cutting either. This place is not recommended for XV parties . doesn't accommodate for Hispanic parties. read more

Our Holiday Gala was a huge success! The venue is so beautiful, clean, and the staff was amazing. The planning was quick and easy and Taryn was so attentive and went out of her way to make sure our event went smoothly. I would definitely recommend this venue for any type of event. read more

The Villa was the perfect venue for us! We just had a February wedding, so I'd wanted a venue with indoor and outdoor options, just in case! My friend just had her wedding here last weekend, and let me tell you, this place was gorgeous despite being in the middle of nowhere. Imagine a giant Italian villa in the middle of Texas. Beautiful gardens in the back, well manicured lawns, well kept interior. They have bride and groom quarters (the groom's room attaches to the ceremony chapel so the groomsmen can walk right into place). Both of the women helping the wedding party during the event (one was the owner) were extremely nice and very pleasant to talk to. The main reception hall has a starlit ceiling just to add a bit more romance to an evening event. The food was excellent. I was especially impressed with the shrimp cocktail as we were nowhere near the ocean. My only complaint was that they closed up the bar more than an hour before the event was supposed to end. Guess they were trying to get us out of there. read more

I had a wedding there in march of 09 and it was a dud.the owners/staff were drinking while the event was going. This place is gorgeous it is too bad that it is owned by such selfish people that only worry about getting your money and selling their place rather than making your day special. Really they the staff were ready to go home before the event started.If you spend 10,000 for a wedding for four hours You would expect more consern to detail. read more

I can not say enough about this perfect venue!! My older sister got married here in 2010 and I followed suit in 2016...both experiences were absolutely perfect!! I chose to get married outside because my wedding was in October, and I can't even put into words how beautiful it was. The whole bridal party kept saying "I can't even believe this place exists in East Texas!" I had a very large bridal party (11 bridesmaids) and the dressing room accommodated everyone very comfortably even with our hair/makeup team in there. As silly as it sounds, the bridal suite was the one thing I was picky about while I was "venue shopping" and the Villa certainly has that part figured out! We opened the doors to the patio and had the most relaxing/stress free day of getting pampered! The reception room is so elegant and very spacious with a built in bar area. I could write a book on this place but words just don't do it justice! Not only is the venue amazing, but their team of coordinators/owners are the absolute BEST. Rhonda and Bonnie made sure every detail was taken care of so that I didn't have to stress about a single thing. We hired Laura Ann Herrington as our planner for the rehearsal and wedding day, and she was also fabulous!! Don't miss out on this place if you are looking for a venue--it is simply PERFECT. read more
