If you can get 15 people to pay in advance to attend one of their tea parties, that's your reservation requirement. I think you can do all that on their website. I also heard they have a Cabin on site that they will let people use and I'm not sure what the price per night is on that. I don't think they advertise the cabin either. There is an antique shop on site as well. I wanna say the price per person for the Tea party with a tour is $35 each. Some of the guests really dress up and wear fancy hats but it's totally up to them. I did dress up and wear a hat at my mother's request and it was fun. I took a pair of flats too, because there are stairs and you walk around the property so heels are not great for that. The Tea and tour takes several hours, ours was from 2 to 5 pm. My favorite part was looking at all the period furniture and decor in the house and the interesting ghost story from the upstairs bedroom. The food was fine but I kinda wanted something more filling. It was typical of a tea so I guess it was ok. We drank Tea, had finger sandwiches ( egg salad, ham salad, chicken salad) a scone with jam and some petit fours for dessert. There is one restroom for guests downstairs so you may have to wait a few minutes. Still it was fun and I would return.

Very comfortable queen bed. DVD player and a variety of movies, comfortable rockers. A small kitchen with a microwave and mini fridge, sink and coffee maker. A Very nice bathroom with a shower only with plush towels. There is a very nice front porch with 2 rockers to enjoy the evening , although you may want to have mosquito spray available. You can even enjoy a walk through the woods nearby. Very quiet and peaceful, a nice place to unplug from TV but still connect to Internet with a strong signal. You have the choice of a full breakfast or continental breakfast . We had one of each. Full breakfast of eggs, sausage, hot biscuits and cheese grits, at the main house along with a tour of same, which was interesting. Continental breakfast is orange juice and muffins in the cabin. We will definitely go again.

The reason why we stay is because of our amazing on-site staff with excellent customer service skills plus very nice lots, our lot has a metal roof awning. The amenities are wonderful too. On-site there is propane service, pool/hot tub, laundry facilities, guest facilities, package distribution, mail distribution, copying service and landscaping. The park is conveniently located near Tyler Regional Airport. My favorite features of the park is they allow pets. We love our dog Nova, she is part of our family life. If you are into star gazing, I was able to sit on my patio to watch the most recent meteorite shower which was the Perseid meteor shower. If you are wondering about cellular service, we have great cell phone service and the park provides wifi service making movie nights wonderful or chatting up with friends and family. If you like trivia nights, Dr. Frankenstein is a family oriented venue. Above it all, you can count on families helping families. A gem that is a treasure.

The grits were not seasoned and there were huge 25 cent piece sized lumps. We ate there a second time and our meal was like prison food. My friend's pasta Alfredo with chicken looked watery. He said the chicken was dry and tough. It was made with obviously store bought pasta and there was no garnish. It was a big white bowl of white and off white food. Throw some parsley on it! My salmon and rice were okay. Not hot but lukewarm. The fish was thoroughly cooked, but fish needs to be slightly undercooked to maintain moisture. Anyway, the macaroni and cheese made me laugh. It was extremely watery. The bottom had lumps of chewy cheese. I realized the chef didn't know how to make a basic white sauce and incorporate the cheese into into it as one should. I think he mixed cheese and hot water together. I still can't believe it. We were the only ones in the restaurant. My drink was an old fashioned. It tasted as if it was watered down. There isn't a mixer in that drink so it needed to be stronger. We will never dine at that restaurant ever again. The server/chef was very sweet, but he needs to learn more about cooking.

We stayed here for several weeks as we took the classes with the NRVTA! Very nice place, the…read morepeople are great, the facilities very nice and accommodating! The prices, I felt, are reasonable but when you need to pay class in full and then camping in full, it's a little overwhelming. Thankful that they have bathrooms and showers, community building with laundry and fully stocked kitchen, greats ponds to walk the dogs around, and the maintenance guys are great! The only things I would say is to add bug lights on the community building porch so that we can sit out there and enjoy and replace the burnt out bulbs by the community fire pit. Other than that, we would be back!
