I moved into the home a few weeks later and the switch was acting up again. Tech came out and said the switches can be a bit sensitive, kind of bent the lid to "make it work" and left. Still did not replace the little plastic clip. The lid is acting up again and now that I live here, I went to repairclinic.com, ordered the $23 plastic clip, removed the two screws and replaced the plastic clip like the tech should have. Easy and works like a charm. I am disappointed the tech failed to make this simple and easy repair using the correct parts. My gosh I figured it out in a couple of minutes and got it done. I do not think my expectations are too high for the $138 bill. This appears to be the level of service you get a lot in Florida. Come in, do as little as possible and charge as much as you can.
