The technician only quoted a repair time of about two hours for my wine cooler which I found reasonable. The labor invoice came in at $475. I expected an hourly rate in the $100 range. When I questioned the invoice I was told they never base the repair on an hourly rate; just a job charge. If you are not comfortable paying $200/ hr I would look for another company. Now the good. After I complained I promptly received a call back telling me the company owner believed the charge was fair but agreed to refund almost half of the amount. Also the technician was knowledgeable and friendly. So my recommendation is that you make sure you have written quotation that reflects the hours required for the repair and is not based on a "job charge".

When I called Josh, he had no idea, nor did he follow up with me which would have been a great personal touch! He was in the loop because I kept him there. We had food perish as we had no refrigerator for almost three days. I used the warranty to replace around $63 of food. When we received payment , Jetsons refunded the warranty amount which leads me to believe we no longer have an extended warranty, ha!
