I think this theater may have gone through a renovation. If it didn't, then it surely felt like it did! The reclining seats felt so plush - almost like we were sitting in one of those fancy schmancy business class seats - and everything was just so clean and polished. Like the seats and it's relatively clean. My only issue is the concession area is too small and their online order ahead didn't work. The concession employees were helpful and patient though and the ticket prices are better. Food was kind of expensive and I think is over priced since it's mostly fried. First off, I could not believe how clean this theater was! This is not some big Cineplex, so I expected the sticky floors and lower-maintenance of these theaters of old. Nope! The lobby was immaculate, my feet did not stick to the floor in the theater, and the bathrooms were cleaner than some megaplexes I've been to. A BIG shout-out to Isabel, who served us at the concession stand. Also, BRAVO to the manager for a well-run establishment. The sound system in our theater was very good. I am the theatergoer that tries for the absolute center, to get the full effect of sound and picture, and it was very good! My family and I went to see The Little Mermaid over the weekend and it was the first time since the remodel. I enjoyed my experience. The line went quickly for snacks and wasn't overly crowded. The layout of the theater, the reclining seats, the sound and picture quality made the little mermaid the best experience! Parking is easy as they have their own dedicated large lot. We loved the remodeling, recliners were great and I would of given 5 stars but these young staff did not keep up the floors and bathrooms. In the 3+ hours we were there I stepped on a sticky puddle on the floor on my way to restroom. Popcorn was seen all over the place through the corridor, by condiment counter, and soda machines, basically sporadically in different areas. The restrooms needed attention. When a customer finds themselves picking up paper towels it's an indication that it is not being kept up. I saw a few staff behind the counter at this time just mingling, and again others sharing a bonding moment on our way out. I spoke to the young male manager and he didtell one of the staff to mop uo as I was walking away, so that was a plus. But seeing the condition of the floors you would think these young ones would be busy keeping thevplace up. I understand that staff is young, lack in cleaning skills or work ethics, so you might want to train them. We loved the remodeling. read more

Temeku Cinemas is a cute but average theater. The place is situation towards the back of the shopping center in a very obscure area. We came here to see Dune and were greeted by some friendly staff members. They promptly took care of us. The actual theater rooms are a bit small, and the seats were very dirty, which I wasn't happy with. This place has definitely seen better days. However, the sound and picture quality was quite good for a small theater like this, so that was great. If you're looking to avoid crowds, then this is the place to be. There were a total of two other people watching the movie with us, and the lobby wasn't crowded at all. The prices here are also really, really cheap. Overall, this place is fine. The theaters are small and the seats are dirty, but I appreciate the lack of crowds and cheap tickets. They also tend to play older movies that aren't playing at the big cinemas anymore. So if you missed a movie there, check to see if it's playing here. read more

If you want to save a few bucks going to the theatre tho is the place. Located in the KMART area of a large shopping center. There's plenty of parking. The snack has most everything you normally see. We had popcorn and I'm going to say it was the best I've had in a long time. Sodas are self serve and all you can drink. For two the cost with popcorn and a drink was $18 including admission. The theatre was very clean and service was good no issues there. I'm only giving them four stars due to the seats. There low backs and me being almost six feet they are not as comfy as high backs. read more

Good theater overall. Considered the cheap theater in the area. They don't have new releases right away but if you don't mind waiting a month or two you can still see the newest movies in a theater for significantly cheaper than the big guys. Saw Avengers Emdgame last night with my son. Tickets $4.75/ea, snacks under $20. I can't remember the last time. I went to the movies for under $30! Theater is older and doesn't have the bigger reclining seats but the picture/audio quality is still good. Less crowded than the bigger theaters which is also nice. read more

Absolutely awful. This theatre used to have a great old-style theatre vibe inside, cool brick walls, very atmospheric and cool. It also was a discount theatre, playing movies months later for less than half the price of a normal ticket. And it was always clean. Looks like Covid money gave the owners brain worms, because they used it to ruin everything that made this theatre good. They gutted it to make it look like every other boring, generic, hideously plain movie theatre in existence. It killed all the charm it once had. It looks horrible. There also used to be a small arcade with claw machines and such. Gone. Just like everything else in the lobby interior that make it distinctive. It's also dirty. The theatre hadn't been cleaned after the previous showing. There was popcorn all over the floor and the tray on the seat next to me. Used to be when the movie ended a cleaning crew was waiting at the door to get in. The lobby was also a pig sty when we walked out. Trash swept up against the walls and in the corners like it was a third world country. And for the opportunity to grace this uncharming ****hole they now charge the same price as every other theatre, clearly not using the profits to pay humans because they're just another **** company who stiffs their employees and nickel and dimes their customers. I cannot emphasize enough how much the owners have ruined this once great theatre. It is awful and I will never return, and everyone else should avoid it as well. Modern recliner seats are in no way worth the desecration committed on the Temeku. RIP. read more

I'm going to go with 3 stars; I deliberated between 3 and 4. This is a "Dollar Movie." It's old movies for cheap. And the theater itself reflects that. It's old. It feels little dirty. The chairs are not super comfy. The armrest felt a little sticky. But the popcorn and soda is fine. The food area looks clean enough. The cost to quality ratio is good though. $4.50 to see a just out of the big theater movie on a Saturday night- solid. And the staff was great. Friendly. Polite. Professional. Finally made here after the remodel, I used to love it because it was the cheap theather, I used to be able to get movie ticket, a michelada and personal pizza for under $20. Not anymore but I'm not mad about it. The seats are very comfortable, the theaters are smaller, so less people. The micheladas are good and they have more food (I had the Buffalo chicken pizza, it was small but good) and snack options. They also have $5.75 Movie Tuesdays. This is a great little discount theater that plays blockbuster films after they leave the bigger theaters. Ticket prices are about half of what you'd pay at a regular theater, and even less than that if you see matinee. Concessions are cheaper as well, but they're nothing crazy. They have pretty much everything you'd find at Regal or AMC. The employees seem to mostly be students, but that's okay because there's not much to the job, and besides some apathy, there's nothing to complain about. The auditoriums and bathrooms are usually mostly clean, and the sound and picture quality has never been lacking for me. I love that they also occasionally play cult classics.
