I've been to just about all the acupuncturists in Temecula and quite a few in San Gabriel valley. I've even been to some in Hawaii and North Carolina. None of them have been as thorough and caring as Drew. My initial consultation was almost an hour long. At other places, they're 5 minutes max! This review is definitely overdue. I saw Dr. Drew for the first time years ago when we lived in the area and I can wholeheartedly say that after only one visit, my carpal tunnel was 100% better! My husband suggested acupuncture after being told by my insurance company that surgery was the only option and boy, oh, boy, am I glad I took his suggestion. I was also experiencing neck and low back pain from working on a laptop all day. Yep, being skeptical that this could possibly work I tried Acupuncture at the insistence of my son. Temecula Acupuncture completely changed my attitude towards this unusual medical procedure. I went in with two replaced knees, a hip that needs replacement, fibromyalgia, neuropathy, spinal stenosis, diabetes,sever sleep apnea & numerous other afflictions mostly caused by the Vietnam War and Agent Orange exposure. My PTSD was rated extremely sever and caused me to awake 3 to 4 times a nite in a panic, or hyper vigilance, getting up and searching the house with a hand gun, sometimes I would awake and engage the covers, the lamp on the night stand, the night stand and sorrowfully my wife in mortal hand to hand combat. Acupuncture in two visits brought my PTSD from 4 a nite to 4 a month, my aches and pains all were calmed and not so sever, my Fibromyalgia was cut in half. I firmly believe that the treatment of acupuncture by Carrie Cimperman of Temecula Acupuncture has brought my will to go on with these afflictions . I have chronic pain due to back and neck issues. I've been to pain management, physical therapy, neurosurgery, orthopedic specialists and not one single professional has been able to help me relieve the debilitating pain. I was referred to acupuncture by my neurosurgeon. I am very open minded to holistic approach and was so grateful to find that my health insurance covers these visits! I called to schedule and was set up with Doug. When I arrived I parked on the wrong side of the building, it's a bit tricky to find so make sure to give yourself plenty of time on your first visit. The office is tucked in the corner of the building, you cannot access through the courtyard. The waiting room is inviting and filled with lovely art, books on essential oils and information on how acupuncture has progressed historically. They also offer lymphatic cupping massage! Doug is truly a healer. He is attentive and professional and listens to your needs. After just two sessions with Doug, I feel a noticeable increase in energy and decrease in pain. If you're anxious about the needles, be aware they are so fine and your practioner makes the experience very relaxing. I fall asleep while he is placing the needles on the pressure points! Find an acupuncturist from an iPhone app?? Yep, I've been so happy finding restaurants from Yelp that I thought, "what the heck, I'll take a look!" I want to thank Rick R. for his review of this business. I was drawn to his review with the first sentence. As I continued to read, it was apparent to me that my situation mimicked his for at least 5 paragraphs. I took the plunge and called for an appointment. I met with Carrie, she read my medical history, asked me lots of questions, took my pulse, looked at my tongue, then gently put lots of needles in my body. I have to admit, it did not hurt. I was in her office for probably an hour and a half total that first visit. By the next week, I was feeling a dramatic reduction in neck and shoulder pain and tightness. Since then, I have had two more sessions with her. I continue to feel better and better each week. I am amazed at the power of acupuncture in my life, and the results I have achieved in such a short period of time. I have regular massages and chiropractic adjustments, and have tried traditional methods of treatment (pain meds, etc.), but nothing has given me such relief as I have found with acupuncture. Like many people I had never had acupuncture before and never even considered it. I hurt my back and also have Fibromyalgia and I don't like taking a lot of pills. I found this location on YELP. I have been having headaches and neck pain for the past 8 months due to a car accidents. Chiropractic care was helpful but my headache persisted. I found the awesome reviews on YELP regarding Carrie and her practice. I was reluctant at first because I never has acupuncture done before.
