Store review may help to someone: 8330 Whyte Ave NW, Edmonton AB T6C 0Y6…read more I wish I could give this store -1 stars. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had at a Telus location. The staff were unhelpful, rude, and completely uninterested in supporting customers. It felt like they were there to upsell or charge for basic assistance rather than actually help. At one point, I was even told I had to pay just to be shown simple options that are already available on the Telus website. That alone was unbelievable. Instead of guiding customers, they make you feel like you're inconveniencing them by asking basic questions. Save yourself the frustration and go to another Telus store or a different provider altogether. I will never return to this location.

I would give 0 stars if possible. I needed to move my service from one building set up with Telus…read moreto another building also set up with Telus. The earliest appointment they could get for me was a week after my move. The appointment was scheduled for between 8am-9am. The technician showed up at 12:30, had no idea how to do the service, despite the entire building being wired for Telus. The next available appointment was a week later, putting me at 2 weeks without a service that I am paying for. I have currently been on the phone, passed around from agent to agent for 1.5 hours and still no resolution, after already speaking with them on 3 other occasions regarding this matter. They told me yesterday that they will have a technician come out today and that technician cancelled on me very last minute, prompting my call back to them today. I have received several different explanations as to why there have been so many delays. I have never experienced such a terrible client experience. I have asked to cancel my service and they told me I would need to pay over $300 in fees if I want to do that- for a service I am currently not receiving. Unfortunately there is a lack of internet providers in my province and I am stuck with one of two terrible options. Telus should really reevaluate how they choose to do business.

The risk of a lawsuit is much too great. Stick to trusted and respected companies like G4S or Garda and leave Paladin to those who don't care about keeping up appearances.

Even more troubling are the ones that use their position to exact their personal revenge on society. I had the pleasure of dealing with just such and individual this week. This individual is the site "manager" at the new Airport Outlet Mall. I pulled in and stopped at the gaurd post whilst in the middle of a conversation with my daughter. A conversation that the "manager" decided to force himself into. As we rolled to a stop my daughter said "Stop Dad". Because we had already been quarreling, I responded to her "I know I have to stop, I'm not a f#@$ing idiot". This is when the "manager" pushed his face into my window and told me "i'm not going to put up with that kind of language, say that again and I will have you banned from this site!". Shocked at his flagrant outburst over a comment not even made to him (he wasn't even the one holding out his hand to instruct the stop, he was standing behind the guard performing the stop) I simply asked 1 thing. I said "Paladin?" He said "yes". I said "thank you" and I drove away into the site. When I came back to pick up my daughter I was told that the site "manager" for Paladin had gone to the managers of both construction companies working the site and demanded my vehicle be banned from the entire Airport Outlet Mall. I said ok and have been dropping off and picking up my daughter on the street out front ever since. Compete over reaction and blatant case of abuse of , I'd say power but he really doesn't have any "power" just a power trip. I was told he had a wonderful story of me cursing at him and his fellow gaurd and wreckless driving on the site. Either of which SHOULD warrant a ban. Unfortunately for Paladin, their site "manager" kid and both of the host companies, I have both audio and HD video running in my car at all times. A full video copy of both encounters are currently on a site that rhymes with bluecube . As someone with over 25 years experience in enforcement and investigation I am shocked that a company like this would let someone with this level of personal issues and agendas work for them much less give them any hint that they may be in charge. One thing for sure, never again will I recommend this company for more than a static fire watch. Clearly people such as this "site manager" shouldn't be allowed public interaction. *Happy to share the video with anyone wanting a candid look at what the gaurds are actually like to customers versus the marketing departments propaganda.
