This morning I smelled something odd . I found an outlet that was burnt . I immediately unplugged…read moreeverything and took a look . The outlet was burnt pretty bad . I called Mr Electric , after a quick google search. Within 10 minutes of calling, I got a call from their office and a technician would be dispatched soon. Another 10 minutes goes by , I get a call from Gabriel. He will be at my place in 14 minutes. And sure enough, he arrives and immediately went to the outlet. Once he unscrewed it, he found a wire that was fried. He instantly replaced the outlet and the cover and made sure everything worked before leaving. His advice.. and please do this .. UNPLUG space heaters or electric fireplaces when not in use.. it can overload the circuit - BIG TIME ! ( if i was not home, this could have been an electric fire ). Some advice he gave me that I pass on to you. Considering how fast the service ( time from calling to completed work was less than 90 minutes. ) was completed but the price was also very reasonable.. a lot less than what I figured. So if you need any electrical work done, I would highly recommend Mr Electric.

I installed a second hand home theater myself as an upgrade to my 40-year old analogue amplifier. I was quite proud of myself because I managed to get everything working except the network functions. That was frustrating because streaming radio was the primary reason for buying this particular model. The manufacturer's support consisted of reading the manual to me, something I can do for myself, being literate. Giving up on the manufacturer, I found EasyOn through Yelp so I sent a message stating my problem. James answered in a couple of hours with a few questions, explaining that his consultations are free. by e-mail exchanges, he determined that the previous owner used a replacement remote that was missing the network functions I needed. Then he recommended a Logitech remote that would not only permit me to listen to streaming radio but would work with the TV and cable box. All for less than a new original remote. I was able to set up my streaming radio by myself and get where I wanted to be. James' business model may not bring in a lot of business from people like myself who have small problems. However, over the long term, I will definitely recommend EasyOn to anyone installing a home theater from scratch
