I guess his wife is the appointment setter whenever she realizes you're a woman her attitude gets nasty. I always worry about services who are coming into your home because you never know what you will get, but they were courteous, professional and friendly. I originally booked an appointment with them a week ago Friday, and they were so helpful. Jermaine came, turned the TV on (because it was brand new, still in the box), and it was severely damaged. A new one came this past Thursday, and he came this morning to install it. Showed up at 10:05, and out before 11. Great attitude, and even helped me set the TV up (though I didn't need it. I am not sure if I would use them again. Pros: The TV seems to be securely mounted on the wall (I only say "seems" because I havent really tried to hang on the mount or otherwise test the strength of the mounting; but I have no reason to think it is not well-mounted). The tech went out of his way to assess whether or not he could hide the wires in the wall, and was very friendly and explained a lot of things. Cons: I filled out their appointment request form online, and immediately received an automated email saying they would call me to confirm. I never got a call, and ended up having to call them to get an appointment (it worked out fine, the tech arrived about when I had requested the appointment). The mounting bracket was positioned right over the outlet, so that one of the plugs cannot be used while the TV is pushed all the way back to the wall (I clearly asked if both plugs would be able to be used, and the tech said yes). I would have happily paid extra to have the outlet moved 6" down. Also, the TV is not square. The tech blamed it on the mantle not being level, and he might be correct, but only if the crown molding is also not level. Also, I am pretty sure the person on the phone told me the installation would cost $99 but I was charged $149 (plus tax). None of these are huge dings, but the combination of small issues has me thinking I would look for another company to hang my next TV. In any case, I will definitely be overly specific with instructions in order to prevent some of these issues which, to me, seem like something an expert installer would avoid. read more

8/02/16 Absolutely HORRIBLE experience!!! Do NOT hire these people if you don't want your house to burn down!!! If I could give negative stars I would. I will be reporting this company to the better business bureau ASAP. We hired Telly Wall Install to come out and hang our TV mount, TV, and connect our DVR and DVD/Blue Ray player. We were thrilled with their prices as everywhere else priced this job double, sometimes triple what this company asked for. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!! The installer was slow, rude, was talking on his cell phone taking personal calls, and expressed how he had been doing this for 4 LONG years. He finished up the job, was paid, and left. A few nights later my family and I sat down to watch movies only to find out that he did not hook up the input/output cord into the TV or DVD player. This normally wouldn't be a big deal, but since we paid extra to have the wires put in the wall, this wasn't something that we could easily fix! The next day we called to express our concerns about the DVD player not being installed properly only to be argued with and spoken to like we were stupid. It wasn't until after that conversation that we discovered another problem. My 2 y/o daughter went over and pulled on the 4K cord (which is a $100 cord used for better picture quality with 4K capable TVs). I thought maybe she had pulled it out of the DVR but the TV was still on. Upon further inspection I found that he had wired a regular HDMI cable through the wall and connected it to the DVR. No problem, I could just switch out the HDMI with the 4K, right? WRONG! He put the hole so low that the 4K cable could not reach the DVR box. So instead of correcting the problem he simply bent the 4K cord up behind the table the equipment was setting on in order to hide his mistake (yes this is an assumption, but it was very odd that the 4K cord was bent up, hidden, so that it appeared to be connected to the box). So we called back to tell them of this other problem and the person we spoke to got aggressive and rude with us. "Well I will be out there tomorrow with Jermain to see exactly what he did wrong." He then proceeded to hang up on us. What kind of customer service was this? We were needless to say SO upset with the install and the customer service that we did not want to deal with two rude belligerent individuals at our home. So we hired a company that has certified professional electricians to come out and inspect their work the very next day. When the other company came out to fix what Telly Wall Install did or didn't do, we also found out that how they installed the wires behind the wall was a huge fire hazard. They should have installed outlets and secured chords etc. None of this was done. We called Telly Wall Install to tell them this and they of course argued and refused to refund our money even though we were having to dish out an additional $380 dollars to have the job (that they should have done right the first time) safely and correctly done. Oh... and they hung up on us AGAIN!!! If you have a family DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They obviously do not care if your house burns down with you in it as long as they get paid!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have used them in the past... get someone out to check their work! 8/11/16 Just a quick update... the sound bar that Telly Wall Install hooked up is now falling off of the wall causing the wires to pull which is disrupting the sound connections. So we now have to pay for that company that came out to fix their mess the first time to now fix this issue as well. $$$$$ read more
