Healing Tree has a huge variety of yoga classes available and a great schedule. The studio is small…read morebut spacious and everyone there is friendly and accommodating if classes start to get full and potentially crowded. I've never had a bad instructor here! Cost is reasonable and you can occasionally pick up a voucher deal (i.e. Living Social, Amazon Local) if you're trying to keep costs low. The Friday or Sunday evening restorative/Yin yoga classes are a great way to end your week. Rebecca is one of the gentlest, most pleasant instructors I've ever taken a class with (and I've taken a lot of yoga classes!). The Monday night slow flow vinyasa with Joanna is a perfect balance between gentle and challenging and an awesome way to start your week. I've also had a massage here in the past (a few years back) - I think I asked for an accupressure massage. It was worth every cent. There are other massage therapists in Quincy that I would recommend instead almost exclusively due to cost (Theresa at A Healthy Balance, anyone at Thai Health Spa), but you won't be getting a bad treatment if you go here.

Love this studio and its space. Christine Cotter-Way is the real deal. Lets you arrive and sink into your met. I had such an issue with my hip and was going to see a dr the next week for a shot, I took one of her classes and she added ball rolling and WOW is all I can say. Dr said I didn't need a shot and continue to take yoga he also said I didn't need another appointment. If your body is craving to move and need to create space so that you can move easily take one of her classes she never a disappoints. Patty J

I've been coming to this studio for a few months now - since April. I had been part of a lot of…read morestudios prior and I wasn't happy with them because of a few factors (distance, cost, lack of something necessary [cardio, better timings of classes]), etc. Before coming here I did my research, looked up prices, reviews etc. I then met with Katie Kickbutt aka Katie M at this newly opened location before taking my first class. I got the new student class pack and was taking classes before I knew it. Classes are great and so wonderful. They are challenging and the instructors motivate and encourage you to do your best and come to class as much as possible. They modify exercises in all classes if you have an injury. My favorite classes so far are Pound, Barre, and SparBarre. Next on my list to try? Pound/Barre combo and Strong by Zumba. I love it here, and truly feel like I belong at this studio. Sounds cheesy, but I do. I love the workouts, the instructors, and best of all, the atmosphere.

Katie and her Kickbutt team are awesome! I've been coming here for almost 2 years now, and I love…read morethat all the women are welcoming and friendly. We've really built a community in which we cheer each other on, and challenge one another to work out harder. I've never really exercised before Katie's, never thought I would pick up a dumbbell, never thought I would run a 5K or a 5 miler, never thought arm muscles were cool, and from going to Katie's, the ladies and her staff have encouraged and supported me to change my lifestyle! My personal favorite are her bootcamps and cardio kick classes. Katie Fitz works you out at bootcamp-it's never a dull moment between her circuits. She is definitely a challenge! And Katie Kickbutt's cardio kick classes are super fun-it's a mix of weights and cardio choreographed to cool music.

Crossfit 617 has everything you want in a box - great coaching, vtight knit community, loads of…read moreequipment, solid programming, and plenty of space. After spending COVID working out in my garage, I was missed having a community to keep me motivated in my workouts and 617 really delivered after I dropped in to check them out. I especially appreciate the programming at 617. Unlike other boxes that are geared towards advanced athletes, I find 617 to have a nice mix of movements with reps and weights that scale well across a broad spectrum of people. More emphasis on cardio as well. Other notes. It's easy to miss the building if you are visiting for the first time so look for the blue warehouse looking building sitting below the road. Also during busy classes, usually the morning ones, the parking lot can get quite busy and not fit enough cars. There is a lot in the park next door you can use and walk over.

The high ceiling lends itself to an open, airy and inviting atmosphere to work out in. The equipment itself - from free weights, to medicine balls, to bikes, are all in excellent shape. There's even an outdoor section, complete with rope climbs, tire flips, peg climbs, and other cool things I can only dream about watching on Ninja Warrior. However, as someone who's been to countless gyms in the past, what really makes or breaks a gym is its people - both the owners/management and the clientele. By this same token, what sets CrossFit 617 apart is its people. I had a chance to sit in on a class the following day - the sense of community and camaraderie between the instructors and clients was evident from the start. Everyone goes out of their way to make each other feel part of the family so to speak, and that goes a long way.
