I've been searching for real help for over 10 years, and I don't say this lightly when I say that…read moremeeting Carina O'Neill truly changed something in me. Over the years, I've seen countless doctors, specialists, and pain clinics. I've had just about every injection you can imagine. What stood out to me before I even met her was that multiple doctors, all from different buildings and institutions, independently told me the same thing, "If anyone can help you, it's her." That alone says everything. From the moment I met Dr. O'Neill at Spaulding in Braintree, I felt something I haven't felt in a very long time... I truly felt seen. She didn't rush me. She didn't talk over me. She didn't treat me like a chart, a case, or a number. She treated me like a human being who has been carrying pain for a very long time. Her empathy was immediate and genuine. She spoke to me gently, listened fully, and truly validated everything I've been experiencing for years. The injections themselves were unlike anything I've ever had, and that's saying a lot. (I've had hundred maybe even thousands of injections over the years) She was able to inject in places no other doctor has ever addressed, areas I didn't even realize could be treated because no one else had the experience or confidence to go there. I felt relief right away, and in the days following I've noticed slow, meaningful progress, the kind of progress that brings real hope. But more than the physical relief, what has stayed with me is knowing that she truly cares. I can tell that no matter what, she will do everything in her power to help me. That kind of care is rare. After a decade of feeling dismissed, minimized, or overlooked, she made me feel like a person again. I now completely understand why she's talked about the way she is, why doctors across New England know her name, and why she's the one they send their hardest cases to. One visit was enough to see it clearly. Carina O'Neill is extraordinary. Without question, Carina O'Neill has put Spaulding Rehabilitation in Braintree on the map. I am beyond grateful I found my way to her, and for the first time in years, I feel hopeful.

Full disclosure: this review is about Donna VanHelene, 0T (occupational therapist) at Spaulding…read morerehabilitation. Donna designs, crates and fits custom, silver ring splints. These help people with a CTD, connective tissue disorder, like my Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. They prevent my fingers from hyperextending and eventually dislocating. Donna VanHelene has the knowledge, skill and patience to design each custom finger brace with the TLC it needs. Then, during follow up visits, she will adjust and refit the custom hand braces as needed. THE DEAL: If you have a CTD, like me, Donna can help address, and hopefully reduce, pain in your hands and wrists!

Steve was amazing and helped build a great program for me to come back from ACL/Meniscus surgery. Unfortunately, when I went back to work I had a scheduling conflict and changed to a different group. What a mistake!! I ended up needing a second surgery on my knee because they didn't rehab it correctly. A few years later I needed spinal surgery and Blue Hill had opened another location closer to my home. Christine was my therapist and built a great program to get my strength and mobility back. We knew I would be having a second surgery later that year so of course I went back to Christine! Again she followed the plan they work from, continue to move forward adding new exercises and/or additional weight, always checking in to make sure my form was correct and we weren't going to fast. I had another surgery and right back to Christine!! I just had my fourth spinal surgery. This one was much more complicated. Of course I called Blue Hill but Christine had moved to another location sadly, too far away. But I knew their program and how they approach rehab worked so I scheduled with Brittney. She is amazing!!! Extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the movements, muscles being worked and she encourages me when I feel I'm not doing well enough. We discuss my progress and hone in on the areas that need more work. She finds the perfect exercises to increase my strength and build my stamina. i couldn't be happier with my progress!!!! I can hike, climb stairs, cook meals and play with my grandchildren even running a bit!! Not bad after thinking I would never be able to do these things again!!

But, at least I know I can come here and receive such thorough care. Dr. Seidman is awesome. Period. I foolishly had been walking around with a wrist that was beyond Tylenol's magical healing properties for months. He examined the wrist, explained what was going on, gave me recommendations for treatment, all while being friendly, professional and thorough. Honestly, I felt better just knowing what was going on and what to do about it, instead of imagining . . . the worst! Yes, it's a busy office but, so what? You won't be overlooked, you'll be seeing caregivers who are up to date on the latest treatments and 2 Pond Park has like the easiest medical offices in the world to park and access. No excuses, go and get yourself fixed!

You can not speak with a live person when making an appointment and when I tried to go on their portal and upload my insurance cards, it would always say error. Making an appointment shouldn't be this difficult. I finally got an apt with Dr. Geary but was told it was his PA, Matt. We waited over 2 weeks for our apt and the day of the appointment a few hours before, I actually got a call from their office, a live person and they canceled our appointment saying Matt was sick and no-one could see my daughter for her appointment. I was shocked a the last minute cancellation and that no-one could see my daughter when we have been waiting patiently for weeks. So unprofessional and maybe for the best as you can tell they do not care about new patients. The person who called seemed impatient and busy. Awful experience from beginning to end.

Today, I received a text message and was told that I owe a balance even after my Medicare and supplement insurance paid for it. The woman in the conversation with me raised her voice after I explained to her that I have a supplement and that my bill was paid in full. Then she started to yell and scream at me for more than 3 minutes, non-stop, because I asked if she could contact my insurance for explanations. She was very rude, and I told her to file a lawsuit for that amount because I don't think I am responsible for it with all my insurance coverage. After I hung up and I contacted my Insurance company, and it took them about half an hour to search my file and communicate with Medicare at the same time. Then he found out that the charge for the add-in was an extra fee for an unknown service that Medicare and Humana refused to pay for the inflated outstanding balance. Beware of this health care practice. I am going to find another trustworthy doctor and will never go back to him again.

Through strict diet and supplements, the patient's health slowly improved and he is still alive and healthy. I recently decided to go to Dr. Mincolla for a consultation. I have had all these symptoms which appear to fall into the autoimmune category but my PCP tells me I am very healthy and my labs have come back inconclusive. I completed a questionnaire and submitted to Dr. Mincolla. We had a virtual visit for an hr. Dr. Mincolla said he believes I have an underactive thyroid and Epstein Bar. He said through strict anti-inflammatory diet and supplements, I can reverse both conditions. He gave me a list of foods that fall into inflammatory, neutral and anti-inflammatory categories. He gave me a list of foods that are not triggers for me specifically. He recommended a daily menu. Lastly, he gave me a list of supplements that can be easily purchased online or in a health store and instructions when to take them. He told me to check in 1x / week to tell him how I am doing. If any new symptoms or worsening of symptoms occurs, they encourage you to reach out and they will readjust dosages or recommend another supplement. I am about 3 weeks in now. The diet is tough - very strict what I can eat and portions and strict what I can't eat - but I can tell a difference. I am digesting better, my symptoms have lessened and I am sleeping better. I am not perfect and definitely cheated during the 4th of July weekend but I am back on track. I feel like I am slowly making progress toward better health and he has been knowledgeable, compassionate and encouraging.
