Worst experience ever, I bought my mom gas before she drove home to kern river. Then we parked in parking spaces next to each other at the gas station parking lot, so we can say goodbye to each other, and I helped her with putting on a couple of car seat covers in the front seat.. My eight-year-old son was with us., And a lady parked a couple spaces over from us and was eating in her car when we finished with the car seat covers my mom took my son inside the gas station to buy a snack and a drink, when they went inside the store. The lady got out of her car and was wearing a name tag I realized she was an employee. She approached me and was extremely rude and said no loitering here you guys have been here for a long time. I then proceeded to tell her that we were not loitering. We were paying customers and that my son was inside with my mom getting a snack and I have also purchased gasoline, then she told me that I shouldn't be so rude with her and that she was going to call the cops and also said your poor son like she was insinuating that I was a bad mom for the way I was speaking to her when I wasn't even being rude to her at all, except for explaining that we were paying customers and that we were about to actually leave anyways. When she started to insult me and talk about my son I told her she was being rude. Then I went into the store and told my mom and my son not to purchase anything from there because the woman working in there was extremely rude and that I would explain to them what happened when they come out side. Then when we were all walking to our vehicles to leave, she followed us out with a bag of trash and continued to insult and talk badly to us and be extremely rude I said to her what is wrong with you please go away and leave us alone. You are very rude. I don't know what your problem is. My son told my mom that he was scared because of the woman being so rude and he didn't understand what her problem was either he is eight mind you. Then she started to tell my mom who hadn't even spoken a word to her. How could she let her daughter do this to her? My mom said I don't control her and she's not doing anything wrong to you. What is your problem lady and she just continued to tell us she's gonna call the cops and we need to get out of here and be extremely rude to us in front of my child. I am in complete shock, I don't know who this women is, I did not see her name tag, but she had brown hair and was very rude I also have the date and time of her shift so they should be able to find out who was working that night hopefully. I am contacting corporate and making a formal complaint, I worked in the food, service, industry and warehouses and customer service cash registers for like 15 years of my life and never once treated a customer that poorly in that whole time, it was absolutely mind blowing what a rude piece of work. Hi Ariana, I believe you to be the owner of the Shell gas station on Kimball. My name is Bhuvanshu. Wanted to inform you that I have been a regular and daily customer of your store for the last 2 months. Today at 5:00 pm I tried to enter your parking lot and a car was blocking the way parked in a non parking spot. I told her to move the car which was in the way. In California we distinguish parking lots by white and blue lines. There were no lines where the customer was parking and then your employee who was a girl came to the customers rescue saying that she parks car there daily. I tried to explain her that it's not a legal parking spot and because she was friends which the other customer she repeatedly took the other girls side besides being very rude and saying " THAT IS A PARKING SPOT AND MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS". She even blamed the other guy who was getting gas that it's his fault because he is parked crooked. This is not the way how a customer is treated. I am compelled to make a formal complaint of this to the city and a corporate complaint to shell about the improper use of parking spot as stated by your Shell employee. We buy gas at this Shell location often. Today my car needed air in the tires. The attendant was very rude. Asked for our receipt. We said we don't have one. We bought gas here last week. His response was, well than you can't use our air. We (Shell) lose money on letting people have air. EXCUSE ME.. how do they lose money? Worst gas station experience of my life! The pumps were slower than slow. Everyone was standing around looking at each other checking to see if it was just their pump -- it wasn't. Most people didn't even pump a gallon of gas before heading to another gas station because they just didn't have time to wait. I didn't have anywhere to be, so I just continued pumping. Overall, the entire visit took about 15 minutes. I would have been content if this was the worst part of the experience. However, the worst part was when I noticed gasoline spilling out of my gas tank all over my car and the ground. There was absolutely nothing to signal to me that my gas tank was full, which is how it is at every other gas station I've been to in my life. I went inside to let the attendant know that there was gasoline on the ground and the pump is not working correctly. She didn't apologize or anything, just sent someone to clean up the mess. I had to alert the other people pumping their gas that they should keep an eye on their pumps so the same thing wouldn't happen to them. Thankfully the pumps were dispensing gas at a snail's pace, so there wasn't a ton of spillage or money wasted from gasoline ending up on the ground. I will definitely be avoiding this gas station in the future. read more

Everyime I come here I have a bad experience. Rude management, some incompetent employees (not all). I once had a pack of cigarettes stolen on the counter and the tenant told me that I had to pay for them anyways and wouldn't do anything about it. Avoid this place and go to the next nearest gas station. read more

For years, I have been a customer of this Shell station and NEVER have I been turned away from using the air/water station to fill up my daughters bicycle. I tried explaining this to the ignorant attendant but he still decided that losing a life long customer is better than turning on the air pump for 10-15 seconds. I must have lucked out here on the air situation vs. others. I went today and put my quarters into the machine, but got no air and the light didn't go on that indicated it was powered on. Tried all I could - no air. Well, DUH, I didn't realize there was a button the side of the machine that you had to push to get it going. I went in to ask an attendant if the machine wasn't working and he immediately asked if I needed help and kindly came out to assist me. By that time, I guess the timer on the machine went out and I worried I'd have to put more money in, but he told me to go into the store and tell the attendant to turn it on again so we could finish. He probably would have done it himself, but he was literally on the last tire, with the hose stretched over the care. He was sweet as pie. Told him I had a job interview next week and saw a light go off on the dash and freaked out that something was wrong with my car and I'd miss my interview (until I realized the light was just the tires, not the brakes as the owner's manual insinuated might be wrong). Anyhow, he even wished me good luck on my interview. Couldn't be sweeter. When I'm working again, this is my new gas station. I'd give it 5 stars, but I'm old school and don't think anyone should pay for air or water at the service station because those used to be offered free. My Friend Accidentally curbed her rim on the curb by the gas pump which resulted into a flat tire caused by bent rim, She asked the gas attendant if its okay to park the truck in a parking space until we can get a replacement rim we came back 75 mins later and they called a tow truck, and the car was impounded.... she left her info... long story longer.. when I called back to ask what happen to the truck the manager laughed at me when i asked for a Corporate telephone number, she hung up on me after telling me NO 3 times. i called back and she put the phone down and proceeded to make fun of me and started to call me names to a co worker of hers, the thing is she was a manger Aerial i believe is her name.. I will file a complaint with corporate as soon as i get a hold of them. read more
