Figured I would post this review after swinging by to their office and noticing they have closed up shop.
I have only used this companies services three times in the last few years and I swear every time I walked in there there seemed to be new people working there, all except the receptionist which is a real piece of work in and of herself. My first time dealing with this company all seemed fine, took my laptop in for a virus removal, was told it was going to be $80 or so. That's fine, but when I came in two days later for my laptop the bill was now about $130!! I was a bit upset by this since I was told it was only going to be $80.. At this point their receptionist started to get short and a bit rude with me saying that the bill was a $40 "diagnostic" (yes diagnosis to tell me that my laptop that has a virus...has a virus) and then $80 to remove the virus.
With how often they changed staff and the fact that I almost never saw the owner in any of my visits, just that same woman time and time again, I am not surprised their shop had closed.
My second visit did not fair terribly better, this time I approached one of their guys directly, asking him about an email issue I was having. He told me he would need to actually take a look at the system to see what the problem was, I was a little disappointed cause I hoped it was just a simple fix.. Again at this point the receptionist butts in commenting on how no one can know a problem till they see the system and that they would be happy to LOOK at it for $40.. I was getting the feeling this was going to be another surprise big bill and continued talking to the tech on any advice on what I can try at home before bringing it in. The receptionist AGAIN butted in and cut off the tech, this time sounding more irritated. Just felt very unprofessional to keep butting into conversations and cutting people off then getting nasty when you didn't feel heard. I eventually got some advice out of the tech after a few more rounds of her trying to cut him off and went home, thank god the techs advice happened to work!
My apologies for such a long winded review, I just feel this company was very poorly managed. The inconsistent billing, the frequent changes in staff and that rude woman working in the front made for an uncomfortable experience which I cannot stress enough!! read more
