I requested a service appointment for my washer and Tekno accepted it on May 24, 2024 for service date of May 31, 2024 between 8-12pm. They never called to confirm the appointment nor did they showup for the appointment date. I called them around 3:30 pm on May 31,2024 and received a voice message that they were closed and would reopen on June 3, 2024. The website shows they close at 5pm and that they have Saturday hours. This is such bad service for such an important appliance in the home. I would never recommend them to anyone read more

would never recommend tekno I chose them off of my Lowe's protection plan to repair my range had an appointment date set up for today between eight and 12. They never showed up. I tried calling got a recorded message left my name. My issue never got a callback. Lowe's contacted them and never received a call back Lowe's , got somebody else to do it and just on that alone. Samsung approved a warranty repair for my refrigerator's ice maker with Tekno TV in December 2020. After not hearing anything for a week (I was told by Samsung that Tekno TV would reach out to me within 48 hours), I decided to follow up with the company to inquire about the status of the service request. The woman who answered, Jenny, was almost immediately confrontational and rude. She seemed, without cause, flustered and annoyed that I would call, and indicated that she wouldn't be able to schedule a visit for a while. I wasn't so concerned about the delay in service, to be honest, but rather Jenny's unwarranted tone and treatment of me over the phone; I registered my concerns about the experience with Samsung soon after the call. Late the following week, Jenny called to inform me of my appointment time. Unfortunately, she never asked me whether the time was convenient to my schedule, and since it wasn't, I indicated that I preferred a different date instead. Because Jenny's tone was unchanged since the previous call, I bluntly asked Jenny whether scheduling appointments for customers without their input was standard practice. She retorted indignantly that she had 30 years of customer service experience and didn't need me to tell her how to do her job. We left it at that, but no doubt our early communications were unnecessarily tense because of her argumentative tone. On the day of my appointment Tony, the Teckno TV repairman, arrived at my house wearing a single-layer neck gaiter. I felt uneasy letting him in since a single-layer neck gaiter has been shown to be a less effective type of face covering to prevent the spread of the corona virus. To avoid any additional conflict, I didn't voice my concern and instead let Tony get to work. Tony seemed surprised that my freezer hadn't yet been defrosted, but unfortunately Jenny hadn't given me specific instructions prior to his arrival about to prepare. He inspected the freezer and speculated that a damaged seal could be letting warm air enter, which could be causing the ice maker and freezer to glaze over with ice. He noted that he'd have to return at a later time after he discussed his findings with Jenny and after I had a chance to defrost the freezer. I waited patiently for a phone call later that day but heard nothing. That evening I wrote an email to Jenny, communicating my unease about Tony's choice of face mask and insisted that he wear a standard mask when returning. To my amazement Jenny hastily canceled my service request with Samsung the following morning in what seemed to be retaliation for my email and for my insistence that she treat me respectfully. Even more shocking was Jenny's email to Samsung, alleging that uncleanliness of the freezer seal and thus my negligence was the primary cause for the ice maker's malfunction. Her attempt at sabotaging the service request was an extra layer of unprofessional behavior that I wasn't quite expecting and that I surely wasn't about to forget. This review should serve as a warning to others contacting Tekno TV that they too many be severely disappointed with their customer service and lack of professionalism. Judging by my experience and the other reviews about the company I've read, I don't think that prediction would be too far off base. read more

Tenko is a family( husband and wife). impossible to get objective accountable service. they were sent by Samsung. replaced the wrong panel and wrong bezel. TV has gap in the corner. didn't screw all screws back and TV panel is loose. broke the remote sensor and didn't inspect the repair before leaving. they caused more damage than before and refused to take any responsibility. I wound't let them in my house even if I have to buy a new TV. read more

Tony at Tekno was able to fix a problem my mother had with her Samsung refrigerator within an hour of arriving at her condo. She had been living with the issue for over a year, and had been unable to use the bottom drawers of her fridge because they kept filling with water. The price of the repair was well worth not having to buy a new refrigerator during a pandemic (or anytime for that matter). She felt safe with him there and he left her kitchen clean. The office staff was friendly and helpful as well. We will be using them again in the future! read more

The one star is for them coming out quickly to my residence for the initial problem. Did not do a diagnostic on the issue I was having and actually made the problem worse. Beware! Took my Samsung TV there to repair a lost picture under warranty. TV repaired and approximately 20 viewing hours later, same problem. I had it repaired for $175. Another 20 viewing hours, same problem, and had to pay to diagnose it, and wanted to charge $175 again for same problem! He offered a $25 discount, but if he couldn't fix it twic, I was doubtful for the third time, so I said no. The TV I brought him had sound and no picture. The TV he returned won't even turn on so I believe he removed something. Buyer beware - better off elsewhere. read more

The repair technician came to my residence and tried to replicate the problem, which was water was leaking from the washer machine door (front loader). He could not replicate the problem but stated if the problem occurs contact the company and he would come back out. I did realize later, the repair technician gave me no receipt of what was done and nothing with his name on it (after I paid him in cash). A couple days later the problem became worse, I called 561-533-9840 and female receptionist answered and advised there was no information under my name and she would have to contact the repair technician and get some information from him and then call me back. I called 561-533-9840 multiple times in the afternoon and even left a voicemail but no one answered or returned my call. Four days later, I receive a call from the female receptionist and she advises that the technician said if the water continues to leak it could be the door seal flange, which would cost me around $250.00 but the original cost was around $335.00 but they are deducting the $85.00 I paid previously. I asked the receptionist why didn't the repair technician tell me this when he came out, (THIS IS THE BEST PART) but the repair technician would never want the customer to pay for something if that was not the actual problem. BUT PRETTY MUCH SHE JUST TOLD OVER THE PHONE WHAT IT COULD BE WITHOUT ACTUALLY CONFIRMING IF THAT WAS THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM. Then I asked the receptionist why did it take four days to call me back, and she reply, "YOU ARE NOT MY ONLY CUSTOMER" (with an attitude). So with the same attitude, I responded there is no way I am waiting four days for you guys to call me back so I went with a better professional company and hung up the phone.
