a menu on the side of a truck

The company I work for just rolled out (see what I did there) a new "Food Truck Fridays" program where they are trying to feature different food trucks for our employees to enjoy. It just so happened that Teka Molino was on site, and after the delicious food I just ate I'm glad they were here! Just like Eugene noted, the flour tortilla did seem very store-bought because of how thin it was, but I'm not 100% sure because I was under the impression that their tortillas were home made. As a matter of fact, I just called the B&M restaurant and the nice lady said they are home made. Also, their prices are a bit on the higher side but I completely understand since they are providing a mobile service. Example: a Teka Plate comes with 2 tacos, rice, beans and a fountain drink for $8.50 plus tax. Actually that's not so bad now that I think about it. For just over $5 I scored a CG taco (flour tortilla) and a bean cup. My co-worker got a guacamole cup and a puffy taco. That was probably the biggest, most delicious looking puffy taco I have ever seen in my life! As a bonus, if your order comes out to more than $5, you get a complimentary drink! Needless to say, both my coworker and I devoured our food within minutes of returning to our offices :) A brief explanation on their various "cups" - it's a small, round, fried corn tortilla cup stuffed to the brim with a filling of your choice. You can choose from beans (topped with cheese, yum) or guacamole or picadillo. Each one will only set you back by $2 and you will want another and another and another! To top it all off, their service was great and they do accept plastic. Now I have yet another reason to love Fridays!

We used Teka's services for an annual event and it was such a success. Team was super friendly, and the food was amazing! I was in contact with Ben for my event and he made sure I had all my questions answered, even helped me stay within a certain budget and the team helped keep me updated throughout the event. Highly recommend! Great team, food, and service!

Place is cute I guess, but the short little guy that I'm assuming is the manager at the bar area is…read moreso rude. I got two drinks for myself after already having a drink, that way I wouldn't have to get back up for another while. As I'm waiting for a friend after paying, another friend passes by and I hand her a drink to set on the table so I wouldn't have to hold it. The manager decides to go up to her and pressure her and lecture her about her showing him her ID. She is 21. She was not drinking that night so she didn't bring her purse and ID. after her telling him that she was just setting it down for me since she was going to the table, he takes the drink and throws it away. He then proceeds to say he can't take it off my tab and that I have to pay for it. Mind you I had to chase him down twice because he was being childish??? Like I get you're short and stubby but why the fuck you throwing a tantrum at your grown ass age . Yea so never again lil bro. Hope you find peace within yourself to respect women buddy.

Heard about this place through Facebook and decided to try it out since it wasn't too far from me…read more Parking was good, especially since it was shared with other businesses. Once walking in we were quickly greeted and the place was very open. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad, and ordered the Grilled Cheese for my son. It was a little pricey for just these things, so that was a little negative. Once we got the food the presentation looked great. My son's grilled cheese and fries were delicious. As for the chicken caesar salad, the chicken was a little dry and not a lot of flavor, so that was also a little disappointing. All in all everything was decent. If I ever come back I will try their most ordered to maybe give this place a 5 star review.

We visited the restaurant on Saturday afternoon, 8/1/26…read more Ordered the barbecue platter, fried pickles, and a couple of N/A drinks. Total cost with tip -$115. Overall, the food was OK. IMO, better barbecue places in San Antonio - but this could just be a preference thing which is why I gave the rating of a three The fried pickles were over fried. No debating the taste preference on this one! The service was fine, you order at the counter and then they bring the food to you. No issues with this and wait time was reasonable. The biggest challenge were the flies in the dining room. We ended up visiting the Restaurant because of a "TikTok" advertisement. After we visited, I did comment and provide the same feedback as above. A few days later, my comment had been deleted. So I reposted again just stating there was no need to remove my comment and they could've just simply replied. Well, the next day the second posting also disappeared. So, I think what irritates me the most is that the owner's/manager, whoever is running the TikTok account, is unable to take customer feedback and provide thoughtful responses to customers providing comments. I posted photo of the second posting that I made that was later deleted. If I had realized they were going to delete any commentary they weren't happy with, I would've taken a picture of the first post as well.

Pete's Hot Chicken is one of my go-to lunch spots, and this visit was another winner…read more The Chicken Caesar Salad was honestly a 10/10. The lettuce was super fresh and crunchy, the dressing was just right, and adding the crispy chicken in mild was the perfect choice. It had just enough heat to make the salad even better without being overpowering. You can never go wrong with the hot chicken tenders. They're a classic for a reason...crispy, juicy, and consistently delicious every time. And let's talk about the bacon mac and cheese. It's easily the best in San Antonio and a must-order every single visit. So creamy, cheesy, and loaded with bacon. We also tried the jalapeño smash burger, and wow. It was juicy, flavorful, served hot, and had the perfect amount of kick. If you're looking for a great weekend lunch, Pete's Hot Chicken is always a solid choice. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and consistently good. We'll definitely be back.

There is seating on the outside that is covered and has fans. Inside has a cool vibe, with many games to keep you busy until food arrives and possibly after. They gave a military discount and appreciate the military. Food was VERY Tasty all around!! Not your average Hot Chicken place, from fresh buns, to crispy chicken on the outside to tender on the inside with good flavor. Only one problem, is wish that we lived closer
