We were excited to see a Middle East restaurant,while we were at Trader Joe's. My husband ordered an order of Ghorme Sabzi to take home. He also added an extra side of rice. We were the only ones in the restaurant, so he was surprised when it took so long. He paid $15.99 and $5.00 for extra rice. He was so upset when he saw the serving size we won't be back. read more

I love Iranian food and was excited to try this new place. Due to the lock down, I had to settle for take out. I received a warm and friendly reception at the restaurant. I placed an order for koobideh kebab and gheima. It only 20 minutes or so to prepare the order. The koobideh came with a big serving of delicious rice, bread and grilled tomato. The koobideh was delicious. The ghema which is a beef and lentil stew also came with a generous helping of rice and a piece of bread. However, the ghema was a letdown. It came in a tiny container with a solitary small piece of beef. I felt very disappointed as the ghema was delicious but finished almost instantly. I'll stick to the kebabs here and avoid ordering any of the stews in the future. On the bright side, I felt compelled to learn how to make ghema or gheymeh and made it successfully following a recipe I found online. read more

Definitely recommend getting the kabob! It's very well made. We had the chicken, koobideh, and barg. All three were excellent!!! The service was great. The Mast O Khiar was a wonderful appetizer. Noon-o-paneer-o-sabzi was included which was nice. Good vibe with the acoustic Persian music gently playing overhead. My husband and I wanted to try a new place and ordered take out. To my surprise, the kabob dish (koobideh) was really bad. I maybe had two bites and could not eat anymore. The meat tasted rubbery and uncooked, and the dish itself did not have any flavor. We spent over $40 so we called and politely mentioned our issue and asked for a refund. The manager asked me to bring the food back which I couldn't bc it would have been over an hour drive and proceeded to argue with me about how wrong I was and how great the dish was. I was shocked. I was trying not to be rude, just simply wanted a refund as we wasted our dinner time and had to throw out the meal. He finally said he would cancel the transaction and hung up on me. We are still waiting for a refund. Had he been polite I wouldn't have written this review but it's clear the business is lacking customers unfortunately and the manager would rather argue than issue a refund for horrible food. read more

It had open sign and inviting to go in. One customer only, not busy, sat ourselves and we waited for 20 or so minutes, when a grumpy guy practically threw bread plate and forks on the table& disappeared ti the back. A young lady who was in at first had disappeared as well. I I went after her and asked for water again. Then told her if we could order. After nearly 45 minutes she brought appetizers. I said what was going on, why so much waiting? She she was fasting and tired, didn't want to work & "he" pointing to back won't let her. I asked her just give us the bill and don't bother with serving us. We left hungry after 50 minutes. read more

After trying several persian restaurants in the Portland area I can confidently say this was the BEST. It was our first time trying it which was during COVID so we took an order to go. We were very well received and the host was very friendly. We ordered one skewer of each (chicken, koobideh, barg and shish kabobs) plus rice, taadig and the herb stew (khoresh sabzi). Everything was absolutely delicious. The main difference we noticed immediately between Tehroon's kabobs and some of the other places we had tried, was the quality of the meat was far superior which is an important factor in any good kabob. We've had persian food many times in Atlanta and Vancouver BC (which have many good persian restaurants), and this was comparable and on par with those. We will definitely order again! read more

I ordered the kobideh kabob for take out which was prepared in a timely manner and was delicious , will definitely go back for more .
