I found an actual lawyer who is going to really help me. I spent 10 minutes on the phone with them, & they answered my questions I've been asking for months now, that I haven't gotten a straight answer about all that time. They already are proactive at helping me with my case. Phillip Darling is the sorriest excuse of a lawyer I've ever dealt with. Not that I dealt with a lot of lawyers in my life, very few actually, but he sure made me realize what the stigma about lawyers is all about, I understand fully why people hate lawyers in general. What a pretentious, money hungry, waste of time, unprofessional, obnoxious snake! He charged me $500 up front, for our initial phone appointment, (that he not only was confusing & rude, but also didn't even acknowledge my husband who was sitting there on speaker phone with me, not even after I introduced him, he just groaned like I rudely interrupted him, & then went on speaking in tongues.) the $500 also included a letter he claimed he was going to write & for another hour that he would put towards my case. That was 6 weeks ago. Since then I heard nothing from him. Not one word. I did get duplicate statements of the attorney/client agreement (which was numerous pages of all the things he was going to be charging for. I mean, they covered EVERYTHING from his precious time to stamps. ) Then absolute dead air! I finally wrote him an email last week & explained exactly what my questions were. I thought the attorney being the attorney would actually let me know what the next steps were, but since I heard nothing from him, I decided to ask. 4 days later, he replied with the biggest pile of nonsense I've ever seen, he didn't answer even one of my questions, ignored most of them, ignored the attachments of evidence I sent him, & the few questions he addressed were double-talk & redundant, answering them with another question that didn't even make sense! He even told me my questions weren't pertaining to my case, so he wasn't going to answer them. ‍ Excuse me??? So, he not only charged me $500 for absolutely NOTHING, he wasted 6 weeks of my time, causing me so much grief & frustration, & in the meantime, I ended up getting screwed out of tens of thousands of dollars by the person I hired this self-proclaimed legal professional to help me with in the first place. Gee... thanks for the help your highness! That was a lot of fun! Let's not do it again! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I couldn't wait to write this review, & I told him so, too! ***DO NOT USE PHILLIP H DARLING!!!***

As Owner/Director of paralegal services at Tehachapi Court Services, legal work is not my job --…read moreit's been my career for the past 40 years. That's a long time to be doing the same thing! Lot's of people have at least 2 career! Well, I'll confess, I've been a teacher for the past 22 years. You guessed it -- I teach law. I love what I do and it shows in the hours that I burn "the midnight oil" assisting persons with legal documents that don't require attorney attention. I'm passionate and sympathetic about helping people to help themselves with legal matters that can appear overwhelming sometimes. I'm fast, efficient, thorough and never miss timely completing an assignment. With the concern of the legal matters, customers certainly do not need to worry about whether or not the paperwork is finished timely. I worry about that part. Of course, I still don't know everything -- even after 40 years of work experience in some of the nation's "Top-10 Law Firms" (such as former President Nixon's law firm and President Clinton's lawyer's law firm), as well as my law school education, as well as having worked in every area of law -- but I'll find out! We're in the business of helping to give you peace of mind when it comes to legal matters that don't require the attention of lawyers. We're pretty good at the following: Living Trusts and Pour Over Wills (including Single's Trusts, Couple's A-B Trusts, Anti-Bimbo Provisions, Testamentary Special Needs Trusts, Medicaid Qualification and Protection of Assets, Dynasty Trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives), Trust Administration, Trust Challenges, Probate, Civil Litigation, Family (including Divorce, Paternities, Child and Spousal Support, Custody Orders , Move-Away Orders, Annulments), Conservatorships, Guardianships, Adoptions, Unlawful Detainers, Real Estate Land Use Disputes, and Chapters 7 and 13 Bankruptcies. If your legal requirements aren't included above, then I probably know someone who can handle the matter for you. Of course, we have attorney referrals. God Bless America!

My case has been very complex and Stephen was capable of navigating through the turmoil with ease. I remain very grateful for his services and will continue to seek legal help from him. One of the things I noticed almost immediately about this attorney, was that he listened and was truly interested in understanding my case. He took the time to ask questions, explain his thoughts from a legal perspective, then continue to examine and evaluate my situation to come up with the best strategy to be successful. He's extremely thorough, highly intelligent and dedicated to knowing the law. I appreciate that Stephen is humble, down-to-earth and compassionate during a difficult time. He really cares about his clients well-being, which is such a rarity today. Mr. Rudin is the epitome of the motto, "the pen is mightier than the sword". You don't need an attorney that's arrogant, flashy and loud, you need an attorney that knows the law and can translate your case into a legal and compelling document, which he is exceptional at! This is an attorney with integrity, and I highly recommend him, you'll be saving time, money and emotion.
