The situation was frustrating and stressful, especially given the time already invested. While I understand that circumstances can change and professionals have the right to choose their clients, I expected clearer communication and more follow-through after being hired. Based on our experience, I would encourage prospective clients to discuss expectations, timelines, and commitment before moving forward.

The project ended up being more complex than she was willing to take on, and she ultimately backed out before completing the work. That caused a serious problem for me because I now have to start over with another CPA after losing several weeks. I understand that not every project is the right fit, but I would have appreciated a much earlier assessment instead of getting that far into the process and then having her quit. I'm leaving two stars instead of one because her communication was professional, she returned my documentation, and she referred me to someone else who may be able to take over the project. But the bottom line is that the job was not completed, and the delay has caused me a lot of issues.

I had the pleasure of working with Joel Bock, who was recommended as an expert in estate and trust accounting. Having had the unfortunate duty to serve as a trustee to a departed family member, the accounting issues were something I did not look forward to. In the future, I will be recommending Joel to friends and family who need a professional accountant who is qualified to handle specialized CPA work. He did a great job for the trust and was good to me personally. Great Job DPVB! And thank you.

Five months have past trying to get this done for our classmates. Shannon was recommended to me by a trusted friend in business. He was so right! Shannon saved the day. I remembered she was a graphic designer and felt she was the right person for the job. She took the messy project over, worked with the photographer to complete the book to give him a "print ready" copy making necessary changes for eye appeal and correcting his mistakes, which were plenty. The project was done quickly and competently. My classmates involved in this reunion would have been lost without Shannon. Her fee was very reasonable and she was worth every penny. Highly recommend.

I am looking forward to working on projects with her again in the future.
