When I got the HP home and plugged in the keyboard, monitor, Ethernet, sound system, external drive and projector, the computer was surprisingly inoperable. Couldn't even get into the BIOS. I had Golden Hills test the HP again. It worked fine. To their credit, Golden Hills offered to replace or refund. But they had put so much effort into the HP, I wasn't ready to give up on it easily. Golden Hills gave me the clue to solving the mystery. Their test setup is different than mine. One cable at a time, I powered down, unplugged the cable and powered up until the computer came on. My conclusion is that the HP's BIOS gets stuck if there is a Displayport to VGA cable plugged in at power on. Plug the cable in later and there's no problem. Anyway, Golden Hills was terrific throughout the troubleshooting. I recommend they stop selling HP computers!

They do enough to get your electronics working but not enough to keep it working after a SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. Be careful with this place. They replaced a screen on my iphone and before sealing it they purposely left a screw slightly raised so it could damage the screen after time. The screw did just that and they stated that it was dropped even after them knowing what they've done. So i took it to another shop (jjwireless) and they showed me what eagle cellular had done by rigging my phone. Be careful and don't waste your money at this shop. Find someone you can trust with your valuables.
