Some dead greens that had been painted to look like they survived the heat (paint is cheaper than water I guess), multiple fairways that were burnt out and totally dead in large spots. it almost seemed like they were watering/maintaining the most trafficked areas only. It wasn't all bad though. there were a few greens in really good shape. The tee boxes weren't in pristine shape but most of the time there was at least some grass so you weren't standing on dirt. But my biggest complaint is how closely they stacked the tee times. We had a time for 10:15, we teed off at probably 10:20 because the group ahead of us (10:07) had to wait on the group ahead of them (10:00) which left the group behind us (10:22) waiting and the group behind them (10:30, you get the point) waiting as well. They could add an extra 4-5 minutes between times and charge $50 instead of $44 on the weekend, and they'd make about the same amount. I think on a weekday round in April this course would get a 3.5 or 4 from me. If we weren't waiting on every tee box and shot because the group ahead of us had to wait, and the grass wasn't so burnt from being dehydrated all summer, I'm sure it would be a nice course. The layout is a little funky in spots and could probably use a few minor tweaks but really my biggest complaint was the 4h 50m round. Fix that tee time spacing on the weekends and I would probably go back. But unless I'm the first one out at 7am I think I would rather find somewhere else.

Not bad, but not great…read more Let's start with the course. Conditions were really firm/fast due to the dry spell we've had. I think it has rained once in the past month and the fairways look as if they haven't seen water. Personally, it was fun to play a more challenging setup like this, since most courses are over-watered and the ball doesn't go anywhere on the ground. The tee boxes were pretty overgrown to the point where the grass is 3/4 up the tee, which can be frustrating. The greens are interesting and have a good variety of slopes. They were also playing fast at the time with the lack of rain. The service was disappointing. Due to COVID-19, there is no clubhouse access and they have a walk-up window set up. On a Friday afternoon, there was only one employee working and the line at the window would get backed up 4-5 people deep. This was unfortunately the case when we made the turn and wanted to get some snacks/drinks. After waiting 5 minutes and not moving in line, we decided to scrap it and finish our round. I get bad for the one employee - clearly there should have been more people helping. Overall, it was fun to play a new course in different conditions. There wasn't anything about it that stuck out as special enough to return, but it gave the opportunity to play 18 holes on a Friday, which can't be all that bad.
