Very good prices (comparatively considering the times). Not very good flavors. Strangest experience. This places' flavor profiles do not match their smells. In other words the food smells pretty good. The fries, the oil, the bread and meat, all smell great. The actual food is just straightforward. I'd like them to season their food more. I've had a patty melt, burger, and bacon burger there, along with fries and soda. If you're hungry on a budget, then yes to this place. Otherwise head to other spots. Also it looks like they do all day breakfast as well, so if you're craving a late breakfast, this place also works. I had the bacon cheeseburger combo that was $13.00 - which included a drink and fries. Decent price for the amount of food you get! The portion for the fries is huge! My boyfriend also got a burrito and it was big as hell. They're definitely generous with their portions. While I did enjoy the food, it isn't like the best burger place around. But for the price and what you get, this place is a solid option. The service is friendly and they allowed us to dine in. It feels much like an ordering situation but you can sit and dine in with their small seating area. The parking situation is alright. There's a public lot you can park in. Depending on when you go, though, you might not be able to find a spot right away. Also this place is wheelchair accessible. There's a ramp outside that allows access to the door, which I thought was a nice touch. Normally I don't notice ramps but this one is quite noticeable. I didn't notice any bathrooms on the inside, but I would ask the workers if there is one. This is some good food for the price! From now on, whenever I think of "greasy spoon," I will think of Ted and his Burger 3. The Bacon cheeseburger was charboiled and quite good, but the patty size was too thin! Still, that burger and copious amounts of delicious, cajun-style fries ran me $7. I don't think I could get the ingredients to make that much food for that kind of price! There should be a half-dollar sign on Yelp for this place. The chicken plate will not leave you hungry either. The decor and ambience are both part of the experience! There are plenty of signs that advertise all of the different things Ted 3 can make, and they're all great deals. I like the setup. This is probably the best dish to have if you are seriously hungry and/or just came out of a job where you've burned so many calories like construction or walking all day. Once again it has that homemade taste (overall on the healthier side compared to the fries and onion rings as sides). If you are looking to pig out after an intense labor day at work yet have an overall/semi healthy meal, this is the item to order. The place doesn't look too inviting in terms of having to lysol the whole place but it is LA and do not be turned away by the overall view. I will remember this restaurant more for it's decor than any other feature. The interior actually seemed like it had been secured and partially vandalized. Fixtures were missing, there were no napkins or condiments. I felt like I was ordering and paying at a bank behind bullet prof glass. This certainly had me feeling more like I was in the midst of a crime zone than any other restaurant I have ever been in. Given this somewhat nerve racking decor, some part of me hoped that the food would somehow be good enough to justify the apparent risk I was taking just by being there. Pretty good on price and quantity. I got the double bacon cheeseburger. Pretty well made. The burger was mild on the grease. Fries were greasy but crispy so I liked em a lot. The only thing that bummed me out was that the burger meat was like the standard burger meat they have at most places. You know what I am talkin about, the standard (1/4lb) thin meat. I mean, looking at the burger in its entirety really put a twinkle in my eye...I was excited to eat it the moment I saw it. On another occasion however, I ordered some chicken tacos. I became wary after paying over $5 for two tacos (with added cheese). I wondered if I should have opted for the 2-dollar-more charbroiled chicken meal which I had seen others order and receive massive plates of chicken and side-goods. Once I got the tacos though, I was hyped. There were two torillas per taco full of lean chicken chunks that were seasoned and delicious. It was definitely some quality chicken, and the tortillas were at capacity. basically, this is a pretty solid food option with a large menu and cheap prices.
