Okay, I've been going here for years. This review is long overdue. I've never had a bad experience. I've only ever had Brazilians and they have all taken less than 15 minutes, tops--probably less than 10 minutes if I really timed them. The waiting room and actual rooms are pretty cool. Check out the neon sign here. The rooms and staff are super sanitary, which I greatly appreciate, and I also appreciate the very real and approachable staff. Again, I have no complaints. I've never waited long, even when they are behind. They don't accept tips and you can pay completely ahead of time online, which is very convenient. It didn't hurt too bad and the price is very reasonable! Way cheaper than my previous salons. I've been told this place has been around since 2006 and I can tell by my specialist that she's been doing this a long time. She always has the best energy, makes sure you're comfortable, works quickly, and before you know it, you're done! They mean it when they say they are professional speed waxers, they can get a Brazilian done in 7 minutes. Which is crucial for anyone with a busy schedule, like me. All the ladies are experts in soft wax, and their method works! You pay half when you book and the other half in cash at the appointment. They don't accept tips. I'm not usually one to buy products but I've personally bought their 50 Grit Body Exfoliator bath towel for after care. It's really big so I cut it in half to double its lifetime and I've seen positive results! Their lobby and space is amazingly decorated, a mix between cozy and modern feminism. Even their wallpaper demonstrates their edgy personality. This isn't your typical salon. It's better. I follow their CEO and Founder Lady Peng. As a marketing girlie, I can appreciate their brand and the way they truly demonstrate their passion for waxing. Pai is my waxer and I'm usually in and out within 10-15 minutes. They have a no tipping policy which is definitely rare but you can tell they genuinely care about their clients and giving them a great service. First, I only got it for the laughs because I am ridiculously susceptible to clever marketing. Second, I did put it on and it's super effective for prepping for waxing the most delicate areas (le coochie). Third, ask your freakin esthie bestie how to use it because the first time I did it I yolo'd and messed up. It can be a little messy upon first application, but so is life, so you'll get over it. Combine it with weekly use of the exfoliator and ingrown serum and your brazillian will feel like a relaxed therapy session as you literally feel nothing while you vent your heart out to Rika.
