Mandy is AMAZING! All the girls here are great, but my experience with Mandy was awesome. She was quick and it was painless (I'm not new to waxing, so the pain is minimal for me). If this is your first time, don't worry! They take good care of you. No tips and bring cash ladies and gentlemen. read more

5 stars for Ted D Bare Pain Co! I had never been to get waxed professionally before because I felt super insecure and uncomfortable about it but then I found Ted D Bare and based on their online presence alone I decided to give it a shot. All of their waxers are super nice and helpful. Rika was my waxer and I didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all! She is awesome! Now I have been coming to Ted D Bare for over a year and a half with Rika as my waxer and even after moving further away I still make the drive over to get waxed here. They also sell products as well and I am a fan of the exfoliating towel and ingrown serum. I would highly recommend this waxing studio to everyone! read more

Pia was so funny and sweet. I wouldn't have thought waxing could be painless! She's amazing and would 100% recommend going to this place for any type of waxing! read more

I come here for the Brazilian waxing and I've never left unsatisfied. They are efficient, cool and their service is top tier. This is truly where the best vibes are! read more

If you are looking for a place to get your regular waxing done professionally, you are at the right place. Shout out to Maya for making the waxing process so easy and fun. There's no way to avoid the pain that a single bikini wax can cause, but at least I know I'm in good hands. And it always ends with tears from laughing too much (also the pain) of the small talks we had. Highly recommend read more

Love em all! Very professional, environment is clean, great vibe, real talk, and great at what they do. Easy appointment set up. Been coming here for years and would not go anywhere else. read more

Been coming here for years and all the gals here are really great! My personal favorite is Rika because she has such a bright and bubbly personality -- makes you feel like old friends! But most importantly, she's AMAZING at what she does aka makes it relatively painless.. plus quick and also tweezes the strays too! The place is super clean and vibey, love it so much. Really professionally run too, so I'm always seen ON TIME and am quickly in and out. Highly recommend this place! read more

The best place. Periodt. Maya was the sweetest and the best human ever. Thank you all so much. Also the decor is (chefs kiss) amazing! read more

I've been coming to this salon for Brazilian since 2019. - the parking lot entrance can be easily missed, slow down when you're approaching the destination. - the online booking system is very convenient. - I notice that my hair doesn't grow as fast. - cash only system is a little inconvenient at first, but I'm very used to it now. Overall, coming to Ted D Bare for Brazillian is always a pleasant experience. If you're in the San Jose area, j highly recommend this place to you. read more

Quick, easy, and painful - just as it should be! Fantastic people who give fantastic services.

Amazing place. I have been going to Ted D Bare for almost 10 years now and will go no where else. :)

Been coming here for a few years now. Highly recommend. Great fast service and wonderful ladies! I always recommend them to my friends looking to get waxed. read more

Before my daughter introduced me to this place, I had only had one bikini wax years ago... and it was awful! What the folks do at Ted D Bare is nothing less than sheer artistry! From the witty website, to everyone being so friendly, skillful, and masters of distraction. I have been going for three years and can't imagine going anywhere else for "intimate waxing." If you are a newly or someone that is dissatisfied with their wax tech... this place is amazing and probably the best in the Bay! read more

These girls here are so good at what they do. They're quick, professional, and an overall vibe!! I don't even have a preference of who my waxer is because they're ALLLLL bomb and I'd trust them with my life LMAO. read more

Yes- yes- yes!!!!! Waxing sucks because she makes it the best experience possible because 1.) it's fast 2.) she will treat you like a homie that hasn't stopped by in awhile and chat you up 3.) it's a no none sense experience.s you're literally here to get your fine China cleaned up. I text the # for a same day appointment and I got a quick response. To secure the appointment they asked for a deposit which essentially was the cost of the wax just to ensure I wouldn't be a no call/no show. Not a problem- I respect the hustle and process. I got to her location about 10 mins early, her current appointment was running behind so she got me in and out in 10 mins! I was impressed. Also, the most affordable wax I've ever been to and the place (and her) are freaking cute! The best place to take care of your fine China! read more

What a fabulous place! Original approach and great payment system. I have experienced most of the waxers here and all are truly great! But really have to give a shout out to Zaireen, so sweet and offers a such a positive experience! read more

Update: I've been coming here for 4 years and counting! I LOVE this place, I love that they are quick and careful in every single wax that I've had. These ladies are like a part of my monthly routine now, sometimes I come into their space exhausted and all I want to do is lay there and watch whatever they have on tv and others I am open to talk through my service * both sides always get me the same friendliness and comfort! 100% recommend!! read more

Stopped waxing for a whiiiiile after a bad experience somewhere else. After reading some reviews I decided to give Ted D Bare a shot. I cannot praise Maya enough. She was kind, understanding, and kept me talking the whole time, making the experience so comfortable and easy for me. I will absolutely be back again. read more

I've been a client of Jane/Ted D Bare for over a decade. Obviously I am happy with the service if I've been a continuous client for 10+ years. Location is easy to access off of 880/Bascom off ramp and they have plenty of parking. These ladies don't waste time waxing; you can expect to be out of here in about 7-10 minutes. The ladies do not take cash tips; the price of the service is the price of the service but they will happily take coffee cards if you feel the need to give them a little something extra!! read more

The most amazing waxing team! I always feel so comfortable, the vibes are always good, and everything is decorated so cute affordable pricing and very fast service! read more

This place is very hipster, CLEAN, and reasonably priced! I was fortunate to have Jane as my esthetician today bc she made the experience simple, fast, and straight to the point. All estheticians have their own techniques of distracting a client from the pain, but Jane made our conversations flow! She's so humorous and lively that she literally makes you feel like ya'll go waaaay back. Although, I was pretty jumpy during the whole process, Jane continued to make me feel comfortable as possible and let me know when she was about to rip those suckers off. If this is your first time or your looking for a new waxer, I 100% recommend Jane for your lady needs! (: read more

I have been going here for along time now. I've never had a bad experience with any of the ladies. They are friendly and can hold a conversation making the waxing go by fast. read more

Great workers, clean place, good price. Nice environment, they make you feel comfortable.

Came here for the first time and Rika made the experience so pleasant. I was so nervous the whole morning before coming in because it had been a year since my last painful wax but she was so welcoming. Talked to me through the whole wax which made it not painful for me at all. I was in and out in 15 minutes and I couldn't believe my eyes it was over T.T I'm so excited to come back!! read more

Mya and Rika are my estie besties!! But in all honesty you can't go wrong with any waxer you see here. Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable, and they do an amazing job of keeping you distracted during your appointment. But, what truly sets Ted D Bare apart from any other waxing place out there is how much they value their clients. Even though your appointment time is short, these ladies still take the time to build genuine relationships with their clients. Shout out to Mya my girl who turns off the AC when I come in because I'm always shivering on table. I can't recommend this place enough. read more

I was spending a few days in SJ and searched Yelp to see available waxing places. What caught my eye to Ted D Bare was the punny name and the cool photos I've seen posted on Yelp page. From the photos, this studio looks hip and very clean. It also helped that they were very reputable so I wanted to try for myself. They had a last minute appointment the day of and booking was so easy! You have to pay a credit deposit which was nice because they only accept cash for the rest of the payment and I don't usually carry that much cash. I was seen as soon as I got in. At first I saw a tv hanging and thought that was pretty fancy. The room was clean with extra layers sheets on table. I enjoyed the decoration and wallpaper in the studio. Definitely had a cool vibe. Lol, maybe too cool for me. I'm still a bit new to waxing so I do get anxious. So to help, I have to talk and I had pleasant conversation with my esthetician. Sorry, I didn't get her name! She was very friendly and although my experience was literally about 15 mins, it was short but great! I would be back if I'm in San Jose more! read more

Been coming to Ted D Bare for years. They are always the best - great price, so efficient and friendly!

They're the best!!! I'm not sure how, but other places i've gone have way more pain and everyone is so kind and fun that you'd want to come just to chat. Can't go wrong here. read more

100% recommended coming here for any service. I have been getting waxed by Rika for a while now and can't recommend her more! She makes you feel so comfortable and is genuinely interested in how you are doing, which makes something uncomfy like waxing so much better. Also love the decorations and the waiting room vibes. read more

I had my first appointment at Ted D Bare last week and absolutely loved it. Rika took care of me- she was super friendly and just made me feel so welcomed. I've gone to a few different places in the Bay Area for my Brazilian, but I'm happy to say that Ted D Bare will be my new regular spot! read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Every time I've gone I've had a 10/10 experience. The ladies are all so sweet and make the pain feel like nothing. The decor and cleanliness of the place is perfect. Shoutout Rika, Pai, and Zia. All these women are well trained and always provide the best work with any service I've asked for. Rika's radiant energy and kind heart is so admirable and I really appreciate her!!! Please try this place out! I always look forward to coming here :) read more

Rika is my girl! I am in love with this place! Waxing can be very intimidating and painful! But this place just goes above and beyond! I usually see Rika and she always finds a way to make me less nervous. She is always so friendly and energetic! She distracts me during the intimate waxing ( which can be very uncomfortable) but she just finds a way to make me feel ok. And not to mention the fact that she is quick! Thank you so much Rika! You are the best! Definitely recommend this place!!! read more
