BEWARE of doing gun transfers from online gun dealers to the 507 Outfitters in Easton, PA. Their…read moretransfer fees leave a lot of room for questions. On 08/02/25 I went to 507 Outfitters to pick up a firearm that was transferred from 'GrabAGun'. It was a Saturday. When asked how much the transfer fee would be I was told it would cost $100 since it was Saturday and they 'were busy', although when I went into the store they were tending to one other person. That was it. I then asked How much would the fee be if I came back on Monday since I live only 15 minutes away. They said 'it would not matter'. On that premise I continue with the firearm transfer and was charged $100. Feeling uneasy on how they conducted business I decided to call 507 Outfitters the same day at 4:36 pm and inquires as to how much a gun transfer would cost. I was told over the phone the transfer fee 'on Saturday was $100 and on the weekdays $45'. Surprise, Surprise! The following Monday I go back to 507 Outfitters to ask why I was not told I had the opportunity to come back on Monday and only pay $45 for the transfer. Here is where it gets convoluted. It was explained to me and evidently told they have a three tier fee system. Tier No.1 --- If you buy the firearm at 507 Outfitters you pay nothing. Tier No. 2 --- 'Some special dealers' transfers are charged only $45. Tier No. 3 --- Customers who buy from some online gun dealers that offer their customer a great deal on firearms are charges $100. The reasoning being 507 Outfitters feel they are being under cut by the online dealers. So in order to make up the lost profit they would have made on the firearm; on some online transfer like 'GrabAGun' the customer is billed $45 plus the markup of $55 507 Outfitters would have made on the sale of the gun. How they can justify marking up a profit of $55 on a firearm they did not sell beats me. I'm no lawyer, but if this is not illegal, it certainly is unethical. They are basically negating the savings I made by shopping online at 'GrabAGun'. Terrible!

Apparently they have a normal range but you have to call ahead to reserve it and pay a $50 fee to sit through a lecture about not shooting yourself on the draw. Good lord. Not that it even matters, I guess, as the clientele coming in from New Jersey for their once yearly trip to the range have no clue; they don't know what to expect from a good range and they don't care. Also the lady at the desk checking shooters in is barely sentient, I don't think I've ever met a duller person in my life. It's actually a little alarming being greeted by that at a gun range where you expect employees to be switched on. I don't know if all this reflects worse on the range or on their average customer... probably both. Bottom line: if you are a semi-competent shooter and/or a normal person then drive a little further and go to relic hunter. I won't be coming back any time soon which is a shame because I live 5 minutes away. I'll gladly drive an hour out of the way just to avoid it.

We email the owner and he gets back to us 4 hours later saying that all of his employees are out sick. He will email us back when they are back in. He never emailed us back. Only having a few days there in the Poconos we call back the next day and the young lady says that they do buy back guns depending on the guns but she is only there for a half an hour more and that no one was there to relieve her so we can't bring it in that day and we would have to wait until the next day to see Rich. This is the same woman that made the appointment for 1-1:30 the next day. This is a poorly run establishment that makes appointments with you and doesn't keep them, make sure to call the morning of and the 5 minutes before leaving to make sure they are there. The work ethic on these people is outrageous and I'm shocked that they are still in business, there are other great places around that actually keep there appointments.

When we originally purchased the guns we were told we would have to return to transfer the ownership. I was told this again when I called to check over the phone--he said to bring the guns and our ID. Then when we came today there were two completely different people working there and they gave us entirely different information. The whole thing was embarrassing because we were just doing what the other employee told us to do. He was not there, so we just looked dumb. So we didn't have to go there.... I guess? Now I am not entirely sure what to believe. And if I'm getting conflicting information from employees how can I trust what other information I get from them?
